You probably remember watching the original Halloween in theaters, or you at least saw the TV version. If you haven’t seen this movie, the 5 sequels, or the remakes, you’ve been missing out. Sadly, I did not find the movie as scary or compelling as I remember. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still pretty good, it’s just a little out-dated. First, the acting is horrible. Jamie Lee Curtis (Halloween, True Lies) and Donald Pleasance (The Great Escape, Ten Little Indians) do okay, but Nancy Loomis (The Fog) and P.J. Soles (Stripes, Carrie) need some work. The music was also good, they played all these different tunes, and they only played their trademark theme song twice. Anyway, the story revolves around a 16 year old babysitter and her friends being stalked by creepy Michael Meyers. While this movie is not scary anymore, the anonymous breathing, and the stiffness of Michael is as scary as ever. The movie is also good if you want a laugh, since everyone is dressed like they were on the Brady Bunch. So, the movie has just gotten a little stale of the years, doesn’t mean it’s not good. But watch some of the sequels.

Rated 10 out of 10 by dolphinboy GREAT HORROR!
This movie is really good and it is so original. First off there is no blood, so that's good. This movie is creepy and I'm a huge fan of horror! Michael Myers in this movie is really creepy and the worst and most scariest murder was when the lady went into the car, and he was in the back seat! Anyway this is really good so get it.
