I made my 2k15 review for last gen and was extremely disappointed. It was basically a neutered version of 2k14. Well, next gen won't save any lives nor will it feel like money well spent. Spending $60 on this is the equivalent of purposely throwing all of your money in the shredder. Though there's not much I can say that I haven't already covered in the last gen review, there's a few exceptions. MyCareer is a totally barebones experience void of any excitement or twists and what's more infuriating is that it all ends when you win the WWE Championship. The game play is a mixed bag. While it's much more realistic, which is appreciated, what's the point if the action is so sluggish? Landing a finisher or signature is a chore if anything and good luck kicking out of a pin if you've been hit even once by a finisher. The AI can also on occasion shrug off your attacks as if they weren't even hit. They usually come out on top if you both grapple or strike at the same time. I also like the fact you can update your favorite wrestlers attire but again it's hampered by the 25 slots available. It's extremely boring after a set period of time and it's sitting in my library as an obsolete piece of garbage. It's about as annoying and cringe worthy as the end of the streak, which is also brought up everytime you play as Brock Lesnar.

by Nagy21 Looking VERY great....EXCEPT!...
As you know, WWE is all about, Past, Present, and Future. If you are a major WWE critic, than you should know that THQ did a pretty "ehh" job with the video game series, I've seen THQ make AMAZING games, but WWE just was not one of them. After they bumped up to leaving Smackdown vs Raw and leading into WWE 12/ WWE 13, they were finally improving, but not by a lot. Now, granted 2K did not have enough time to improve the game for WWE2K14, they managed to still make it a great game!! I mean, Undertaker's Streak mode, 30 Years of Wrestlemania, and even a better WWE Universe mode. Now I do not know about you guys, but I really liked the Road to Wrestlemania than the Attitude Era and 30 Years of Mania mode, give or take couple of those options of matches on the game modes. Now to the future. 2K is letting their visual concept team make the game come to life instead of Yukes. FINALLY!! WWE characters will look more realistic to them. NBA 2K has rosters that look VERY close to the actual players so 2K really has my expectations high on this superstar feature. Moving on to more greatness!! Usually when it comes after WM new superstars get debuts. Unfortunately, WWE games do not have time to add them; 2K, fortunately, does have that potential, and ability to do it. They also could avoid this problem by just simply adding the NXT Roster so you can just change their roster setting. Speaking of NXT, rumor has it that 2K will make a game mode where you can create a superstar or use a current NXT superstar, or diva, and have him or her start off at NXT and work their way up to getting on the roster, getting noticed more, having main events, and even have the chance to be the Divas Champion or WWE World Heavyweight Champion!!! Most of the time they have another game mode to the game and it will probably be a WWE Superstar/Diva career mode like SD vs Raw 08' or just a simply better WWE Universe mode like they have the past couple of years. Now for the EXCEPT part. Have you seen the cover of this video game?!?!?! No, it is not the fact it is John Cena on the cover, it is the fact that WWE logo looks like a cartoon and the background design is just not really that exciting. Maybe a different cover or pose, I don't know, but it's bothering me. (lol, sorry, needed to be said.) That does not matte though because it is all about the stuff that is in that silver donut you put in your game system. Now we can hopefully make Undertaker beat Brock Lesnar at WM 30 because I swear that was like a living nightmare and a childhood dream crushed. For a "Preview Buzz' this game gets a 9.3/10.

Rated 3 out of 10 by GamerX87 WWE 2K15 is a flop
I'll start off by saying the graphics are great for the most part. some wrestlers are clearly not face scanned (Retired or no longer with WWE). The controls are better and I like the "pulling yourself up with the ropes" feature. Now for the negative. Creations took a major blow. No create a story, belt, finisher, arena, or Diva. The career mode is ok, but becomes very repetitive quickly & if you win the WWE Championship your first chance, it'll fast forward the 15 years to your retire match & ends. The roster is probably the smallest I've seen in years & missing pretty normal characters. Universe Mode is the same as the last few games, with nothing much changed to be honest. Still a lot of repetitive feuds & matches. The music for create an entrance has been completely cut with very little to choose from...unless you use regular superstars or Divas music. By the way 6 Divas? really? where is the love for female gamers 2K? I'm a guy, but know plenty of women who love WWE & WWE games. And I guess my next gripe is that 2K still keeps wasting valuable character spots, much like THQ, with the same people. If you want 3 Triple H's put them in one character spot, not 3 different spots. It's next gen.....you have the technology smh
Rated 1 out of 10 by AdR929 2K Ruined a great franchise
They took a great game and made it worse than any other wwe game i played to date. Literately worse than ps2's wwe smackdown just bring it, and that game was better than most ones. The reversal system is stupid, it makes no sense to grapple or run, the only thing you would know to do is press the square button/x button.
Looked great, but it suffered from lack of playable characters as well. The roster to choose from is so small, and to boot, way too few customizable options for custom superstars.
Unless you are familiar with the new system, stay away from this game, and hope that the next installment will be better.
And lets face it, it won't.
Rated 9 out of 10 by il1989 I don't understand why this game got mediocre revi
The graphics are awesome the controls and mini games ( like when you are grappling at the start of a matched or during royal rumbles or during the casket match in 2k show case) do take some time to learn and adjust to but once you've gotten the controls down the game is a blast I don't under stand why users gave this game low scores or why video games sites did too I enjoyed the heck out of this game and I still am don't go by any reviews rent the game check it out for your selves and see if you like it or not
Rated 8 out of 10 by Tyjames23 Fun Game For Everyone
Ok this game does take some time to get use to with the reversals butt a couple sit downs with it you will get use to it. Graphics for next gen A+ Story Mode is very bad not going to lie . But the Other Rivalry mode is fun playing threw the history of the wwe with HBK HHH and Punk Cena . tons of dlc also helps it out . But overal if your a wwe fan pick it up .. If your not but like the games and play with friends pick it up.. If your looking for a good a for just you a good single player game NO do not pick it up .. Online mode is not fun at all. So i give this game a UP only if your wwe fan or if you like to get loud with your friends and drink beer with stone cold.. I give it a Solid 8 Overall
Rated 7 out of 10 by SpruseJohnson2 Not bad as long as you know what you are getting
I have seen so many of the reviews on here based off of what is not in this game, this review is based on what is in the game. If you are going to/not going to buy it based on what has been removed well, you deserve to be let down because that news was broke long before the game was released. Now, as for what is in the game and what this game offers, all in all it is pretty good. Not great but pretty good with room for improvement. The graphics are fantastic and for the most part, the mechanics are good as well. Yes they are different. Yes they take time to get used to but once you get by the learning curve they are just fine. The commentary could be better (they said it would be but hey, fooled us all there) but what video game does not have sub par announcing when it comes to sports games. Are there a few glitches, of course, what games do not have them. The thing is, unlike what many have said they are not game breaking. A wrestler double matching on a show or a weird morphing of a face now and then are just minor hiccups. Don't get me wrong, I would not have dropped the $60 on the game day one knowing how much the DLC cost but for the reduced price it is worth a grab if you are a fan of this genre.
