Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Bother This game on first glance looks fun. The graphics are better than expected, it was initially fun, and the game play isn't bad. The game does get pretty repetitive, but that was expected because of its genre. The real issue here, is that the game freezes every time you access the main menu. There are some bizarre workarounds (it works if you play it on 8/1/2015...that seems to be the day it worked. If you leave your connection on or the date updates it will go back to freezing on the menu. Neither the Developer nor the publisher are willing to comment on it or patch the game. So realistically, you have to REALLY want to play this game to play it. The amount of fun for the amount of effort is not even remotely worth it. I would only recommend buying this game if you plan to give it to someone you hate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Game, Has problems though... Toy Soldiers War Chest is a good game. It takes things from the two previous games and adds onto it by adding a variety with the 8 different armies to pick from. The game though still has it's flaws though with the game looking very much like it should have been last gen and does not quite fit the current gen graphic standards. The games campaign is ok, yet it would have been great to see the licensed content get included in anything other than the rather boring survival missions. The multiplayer is where the repayability comes from, yet the multiplayer for some reason only lets you play by being put into a game of 1v1, 2v1, and 2v2. When you are in a 1v2 situation it is extremely difficult to stand a chance. the multiplayer could use some new modes to help improve itself and allow for simple 1v1 matches instead of always being put in a lobby with up to 4 players. The multiplayer servers also have booted me out about %15 of the time as well ruining the aspect when you cant even play. I would save my money unless you really have to have the licensed characters since the main 4 that already come with the $15 version has more upgrades to pick from and also for twice the price the licensed characters don't add much to the game. Overall though the game is great and brings new things never before seen on Toy Soldiers, the branch away from Microsoft is nice so it can reach a larger audience as well with the help of Ubisoft
