I wanted to be one of the positive reviews of this game out there: The Order 1886 is awesome but it did need further refining than was given. You can feel the weight of the played character in the controls, which are intuitive to a great degree, and the stealth play is absolutely unforgiving and the quick time events can be absolutely infuriating when your instincts are to go for the left thumbstick instead of the right (which most involve the right in the game.) I waited until I had finished the game to post this and I stand by the fact that I would replay it and I would recommend it to a friend. The reviews stating that The Order is a boring game obviously have not played it, it cannot be swept through in five hours. Period. If you want your victory handed very cheaply to you, stick to something else, this game is not for you.

I saw that the price went down on the CE, so I figured, why not? I am SO glad I jumped on it. I didn't preorder this because I'm not a big fan of history, but you don't need to like history at all to play this. I also thought the whole "advanced technology" in the 1800s would be kind of lame, but it's not the stereotypical alien-like, completely unrealistic technology I was thinking of. The graphics are AMAZING in this. If you're familiar with CoD, the controls are similar, except the actual movements are more realistic. The game doesn't last super long, but the story is so good, I think it's worth it. The story is also very linear, which is what I prefer to open world. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting an awesome story, graphics, and gameplay.
Rated 8 out of 10 by gettosanta WAIT FOR A PRICE DROP
The Order 1886 is a Fantastically polished game an so plays like one, it has several pros but with almost an equal amount of cons. The Order does Graphics, ambiance, and game-play proud. That said though the game is very short I myself beat it in one day in one sit in of about six hours. Also there are way too many QTE and cutting into game-play with cut-scenes almost like they wanted to create a movie but made it a game instead it's one or the other not both. I believe that a sequel has a lot of potential if they make the game longer more like an uncharted maybe where it takes a few days to beat. All in all I believe if you wait to experience this game your not missing out waiting for a price drop and you'll probably appreciate this almost masterpiece of a game more for it.
Rated 9 out of 10 by GrowlingSilver I LOVE THIS GAME!!! :')
The Order:1886 Is Good & Highly Addictive To Me!!! It's Like Gears Of War & Resistance:Fall Of Man & The Last Of Us Combined In One Game!!! Sure It May Not Have Online Mutiplayer But Other Than That This Game Is Great & I Really Hope That Sony Computer Entertainment & Ready At Dawn Is Workin' On A Sequel Because Indeed It Deserves It!!! Thank You Sony Computer Entertainment & Ready At Dawn For Givin' This Hard Workin' Man A Bang For My Hard Earned Bucks!!! :')
Rated 7 out of 10 by Rezor Pass it up
Yes, the game looks beautiful, but that's all it has going for it. I would not recommend this game to anyone until it drops in price. If you can find this game for $20, maybe $30, then get it. Until then, just pass it up. Several of the chapters are nothing but cinematics. There are QTEs everywhere, and the gameplay overall isn't really that great. The only thing the developers really cared about were the graphics.
Rated 0 out of 10 by gbeast Another Triple-A Sony Exclusive title!!!!!
Sony arguably has the best exclusives; The Last of Us, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, God of War, LittleBig Planet, InFAMOUS, Killzone, Resistance, to name a few. The Order: 1886 looks (in short) FANTASTIC! The story and world look awesome, The gameplay looks smooth and fluid, the graphics look life-like. Also, the way that history and mythology are being blended into a tale of four knights is creative and unique. Any PS4 owner should pre-order this game. The Order: 1886 might be a letdown, but the previews, interviews and information make things look promising. This Special Edition also looks really cool and at 20$ more than the game by itself, this is a good deal.
Rated 8 out of 10 by sharkslayeroscar Good Ideas. With an uneasy ending
FEW SPOILERS**First off, the case for the game looks very cool and the pop out texture to it was a nice touch. The statue was a lot more detailed than I expected and not as cheap as I had thought; so all in all I'd say I got what I paid for considering the extra 20 dollars paid since I had store credit. NOW, the game has an amazing visual appeal, probably the best thus far in the playstation market. The environments look amazing and since it brought the elements of the 19th century such as clothing and carriages it made me even more ecstatic. The guns have a very distinct look to them as well as sound, which I was very happy about. The "half-breeds" look amazing as well and the gameplay assures that you notice the detail. Pretty much the game has the best darn graphics with close to no lag and lack of resolution. The only problem I had is that every enemy had the same facial features but a different uniform, which decreased the lasting appeal. I, like many other people out there, expected a multiplayer since it has become an important mode over the past few years However, when I opened the main menu there was no multiplayer whatsoever. I didn't necessarily consider it a bad thing, it just made me imply that this game would have a lot to show for in its campaign. Yes, the game ranges from 6-8 hours of gameplay and the hard mode, in my opinion, wasn't that difficult. The gameplay is very linear with little to no exploring and a lot of cut-scenes. The aiming may be a bit a difficult to get used to but as a whole it is okay. Something that really sparked a concern in people was the lack of mobility due to the fact that certain areas only allow you to walk and make the mission a drag in a sense BUT the story did captivate me, I didn't finish the game in one sitting, but I was looking forward to what was going to happen next after I stopped playing. The idea of werewolves and vampires (later briefly seen in the game, but no specifics about them) just captivated me, giving me a Van Helsing feeling. Sir Galahad (protoganist) really grew on me throughout the game and his story within the order, although predictable, was enjoyable. The ending was the determining factor for the reason that there is a huge hole in the plot when the main bad guy is still out there. You know nothing of what happens to you and your comrade knights and your beloved, Isi. That is why I gave it an 8 out of 10. It might not be everybody's cup of tea, but I'm satisfied with my purchase.

The characters look kind of whimsy for a monster fighting team but the game it self looks very cool I just don't see why this comes with stickers this is rated M what adult wants stickers...
