Product Details:

The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favorite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return. Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organisation Terra Save. Moira Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office. Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and awaken later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility. Working together, they must find out who took them and to what sinister end. Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what's led to them being taken to this remote island? A story of twists and turns will have players guessing the next step at every turn. Headed for the remote prison island in search of his missing daughter, Barry Burton meets brand new character Natalia Korda, a little girl who has a strange power that allows her to sense enemies and hidden items. Using this skill alongside Barry's proven combat abilities, players will need to alternate between the two to survive the mysterious island and find Moira. Barry and Natalia will need to uncover clues as they fight to survive and their journey will lead them to terrifying encounters with two brand new enemies: The Rotten and The Revenant. With terrifying enemies waiting around every dark corner, players will need to use their ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game! Revelations 2 exceeded my expectations. I was a little skeptical before I purchased this game because I wasn't sure of what to expect but within 15 minutes of playing it I was completely hooked. The Resident Evil series has had some ups and downs lately (I won't even speak of the horror that was 6) and I feel like the Revelations games are a huge step in the right direction. I would definitely recommend this game to any RE fan or to anyone who likes Survival Horror.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from long wait Great game (not perfect) but much better than RE 6 or original Revelations. It actually is a bit scary sometimes. At first I thought the swapping between characters would be annoying, but it is fun and interesting. One thing I noticed was weird is that when you shoot someone in the head even with sniper rifle or a magnum the head doesn't explode, I mean they even had it in the old RE games. I'm sure it takes little effort to implement something like that in the game, but com on this is 2015. Graphics are just OK, but the gameplay environment and the overall feel and experience is excellent. I hope RE 7 will be kind of like that. The Raid mode is much better ( and easier ) than in the original revelations, very addicting and fun. It is worth paying $40 , I would even buy it for the full $ 60.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A big step in the right direction. This game is a big step up the direction fans of the old want the series to take. Sound and Lighting are at the best the series has had yet. The right blend of 3rd person shooter controls with the classic survival horror feel. Game play is a nice blend of the Revelations controls with better fluidity. Swapping between characters is nice for stunning enemies or scouting ahead. This plays less into puzzle solving than the feature did in Resident Evil 0. The game has acceptable length for the cost as well. Capcom was shocked to find out that survival horror wasn't a dead game type with the success of Last of Us and has such incorporated aspects of Last of Us gameplay into Revelations 2. The game is the first RE since 5 to have its positives out weigh the negatives. Pros: Limited Ammo for actual classic RE survival Game Play Best use of Sound and Lighting of any RE Game Smooth controls Improved Dodge feature from Revelations 1 Interesting Plot Settings are Dark and Eerie instead of Bright. Lots of characters for Raid modes Visually satisfying. Cons: Some areas are kind of Bland in their design Broken Up into 4 episodes ( people who buy the disc get all 4 at once ) Generic Uroboros/Zombie models over used not much diversity in look of some of the trash enemies. Character swapping used very minimally in puzzle solving. All in all the game is solid. Just the couple things I mentioned. Though If you are one of those people that believe graphics are the sole factor in what makes a game good then the fact the game is not pushing graphical boundaries would be a con for you as well.
