Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trash game no offense. I literally purchased this game last Tuesday on 2016-22-11 and I passed it within a day both normal and hard mode never have I ever been disappointed in a game like that and I just had to return it to get my money back. I was so closing to crying for all the cringe moments this game brought to me. Please save yourself the money and don't even bother to get it. For real don't even look at it on the store self. Cancerous game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warning, this is just a prologue Since it's a prologue, that means the game will be bad right, wrong. It is still quite an enjoyable ride. Of course, you play as snake or big boss, but I'm just gonna call him snake and he has to find 2 people and get them out of this prison camp, the controls are good, and you won't believe this, but....here I go..............this is my first metal gear solid game, crazy ain't it. But it is a good game, short but good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great game, short lasting appeal I tried MGS4 awhile ago but was quickly overwhelmed, recently I gave this one a try and LOVED IT! It's true that the main game is SUPER short (like an hour of a quick tactical run through) but the side ops really work well at expanding the game, plus there's a lot of extras to explore.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't Believe the Lies! Ground Zeroes can be beaten in 12 minutes... IN A SPEED RUN! The time it takes to become that good is far more than 12 minutes! I have played 30+ hours of Ground Zeroes and it is an amazing game. don't let people tell you there is only one mission, there are 6 missions that come in normal and hard variants. If you really love MGS you will play these missions over and over and over until you get S Rank on all of them "Which I have done." And though Hayter's voice will be missed, Kiefer gives a pretty Solid performance! Get it "Solid" performance? You know because the series is called Metal Gear Solid... Oh nevermind... In conclusion, this game is amazing and leaves you wanting for more... *touches screen* "Soon The Phantom Pain... Soon..."

Rated 4 out of 5 by from "The Best is Yet to Come": Get a taste here! (: Although the game barely contains any story relevant to the upcoming title Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, it can still provide hours, and HOURS (yes, not just twenty minutes as some would like to believe...) of entertainment value. Designed as a sandbox type where multiple missions, all occurring in the same relatively small area take place, it gives you the freedom to complete the mission at hand as you please. For old fans of the Metal Gear series, it's an introduction into the new mechanics and tone which is set in motion for "The Phantom Pain". For both new comers and fans alike, the value of this game comes to TRUE fulfillment when one takes it as a challenge to complete ALL missions getting "S" ranking (in both normal and hard difficulties), and unlocking all characters in the "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Companion App" via completing special conditions during missions which aren't "spoon fed" to you as a player. Are you up to the challenge? It's not easy, but if you're a completionist, or a hardcore gamer, this game is definitely worth its retail price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great replay value yes its short, but its also fun and has loads of replay value thanks to the variety of gameplay options. there is more than on way to skin a snake, and there is more than one way to play through the main mission as well as the side missions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great DEMO, but not for $30 This MGS is fantastic, a great improvement over MGS4. It is definitely a demo though. You are at a fairly large camp, with multiple missions, but basically you just start in different areas of the map and have an objective elsewhere on the map. Thus, giving some replay value, but with no change of landscape, it can become dull after 2 or 3 missions. Overall it is very fun, but again not for $30. $20 is more reasonable, but even so, you can get Arcade games for cheaper, with more lasting appeal. All-in-all it has convinced me to purchase phantom pain when it comes out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No need to play... Done with it in little over an hour. So short its ridiculous. Fun while it lasted though. Runs great, looks great, very fun. Should have been $15 as digital download. Really just shouldn't have been released and just spend how ever much time was put into this into phantom pain... Don't buy it unless you don't care about wasting money...
