Madden NFL 25 for the PS4 and Xbox One looks amazing. The graphics are way better and i hope you can play the PS4 games on PS3.

This game is exactly like the Ps3 with better graphics. The running game is a little harder due to smarter A.I but I was surprised EA didn't add on to the connected Careers mode like NBA 2k did for their MyPlayer Mode. I just don't really feel like a part of the team and there is no story line here. I want to go to combine be interviewed , questioned, drafted. I want to have ups and downs. Controversial things. The owner Mode is basically franchise mode however I don't get some of the fan happiness logic. EA could have really took the Next Gens power and storage capacity to the next level with some interaction in these modes. How about cutscences when you do move the team or have media questions not just a twitter feed or audio with text. Where is the highlight show at Halftime or more key play moments. Madden is the only football we have but it seems like EA is lagging when it comes to really making Madden over the top. This seems like a game living off it's past and not done anything special lately.

I'm 22, I've played football my entire life, and I think this game is terrible. The people tht made it must have never played or watched football. To start the graphics are worse than on my ps3. All the coaches look 10 years older than in real life. Players aren't accurate. J.J watt looks like a 400lb man!! The new running system is as far from real as ever. Nobody takes 6, yea literally 6 stutter steps to change direction, especially when it's a slight change. The worst part about that is it only affects the person with the ball. The defense can run full spend in circles without stutter steps. The "new blocking" is just as bad. Lead blockers almost always run past the first defender through the line. Then people getting blocked pull off their blocks as soon as you are in line with them but when you're on defense it's nearly impossible to get off a block even if you go straight backwards. What I'm most annoyed about is not being able to import my college career players.

first, i don't physically own the game, i borrowed it from a friend who said the same things i am. Graphics and Sound are only a slight step up from ps3 version. The smarter AI seems to make the game a bit more challenging for singe minded players. i.g: All run or pass plays. The AI called audibles when you did, evening the match ups most times. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, being the first next gen game they did, and it was well after M25 was on ps3. I think the lack of changes was due to the fact that Madden 14, their first sites on next gen, will be out in a few months. I just think this was an imported game over to PS4/XBox One from ps3/360. Madden 25/Madden 13 were the same game, just different graphics engine. Connected Careers need to be way more in depth. Madden 08 was good for that, you had the pre-draft workouts. i.g. weight lifting, offense/defence drills, sprints, and all those added up to your overall. Overall, don't waste your money. not wroth buying this one. wait until Madden 14 is released, and make your decision then.

This game does not have PS4 quality graphics- as most have said. The big improvements with this have been the playability and the gameplay engine. The PS3 version of Madden 25 was skippy to me. Getting from the end of a play to the play selection, then to the audible before the play, was awful. This version on PS4 is completely fluid. I never feel like the console is about to lock up like I did with the PS3 version. It's as if they overextended beyond the PS3's capabilities, if that makes sense.
The new game engine is awesome. It was tough to get used to at first, but now that I am, I love it. I've already played through an entire franchise season. The player motion engine is realistic- no more stop and start on an unrealistic dime. If your player isn't highly agile, stopping to change direction really makes you stop and gain speed again. Once you master this, you'll love the changes they've made. The true test will be how EA approaches the game next year with a full development cycle that doesn't use anything from previous gen. I believe the game is worth buying again, even if you already owned the PS3 copy.

So I had this game for PS3 and then got it for Christmas with my PS4 I have to admit compared to other sports games out there this is disappointing slightly. The graphics are certainly amazing, the gameplay I think is extremely smooth however they didn't really change much outside of those things for this title. I think that these transition hybrid platform games are hard to judge because they had to be made with keeping in mind both platforms. I think the game could certainly be better with the career mode that has not change at all, NBA 2K14 certainly has this on the right track. I also think the announcers in their commentary is actually quite repetitive and the statistics and ratings of teams and players seems way off for whatever reason. Next season I expect Madden will revamp the game and bring us something more to the table.

I have to say not bad for the first next gen attempt. I'm assuming developers take time adjusting to the new hardware. I think I expected too much for the next gen hardware but it was definitely an upgrade from the Ps3 version,. I have both games. I will say the same thing about the franchise I've said for about the last 10 years. Someone at EA needs to get a copy of 2K5 by 2K Sports and see what a complete video football game really looks like . It's still the best football game made on any platform. There's no reason why you can't have post game interviews, halftime shows, draft reports, in game updates of other games around the league. Stuff 2K5 had 10 years ago. Stop wasting the license EA. If you're going to continue to make a half done game, let someone else make a real one. It's already proven it can be done

I used to love the Madden games. I made my own team then played franchise mode. Well I made my team and found out there is NO franchise mode. You have to be a single player, a coach or an owner.

All of the sliders and such are terrible along with all of their game modes. I've played all of the maddens before this and this may have better graphics than the others but it is still pathetic how the can't make the crowd look any better. Not to mention when you play a game there is literally an injury every other play. For example I was doing a career as a coach and by the end of the preseason I had 7 linebackers on Injured Reserve. Going off of that they completely messed up the game modes by turning franchise into some connected thing that is ultra confusing and in the end just plain stupid. Another bad game play feature is when you are throwing the ball as a quarterback, you can be the top QB in the league with a near perfect Pass Accuracy rating and throw for 5 touchdowns and 5 interceptions all in the same game. However, this is possible because every few pass plays all of a sudden your QB will out of the blue throw one the worst passes ever without getting hit or anything and the pass will be intercepted. Another problem is when you are running the ball anyone can truck anyone. You can literally run over the entire opposing team with just about anyone in the game. There are many more problems to this game but in the end it is a waste of money. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!!!
