This game has had me hooked, so far I've managed to play a total of 12-13 Hours and that hasn't even been apart of doing the main Missions which are bubbled in blue dots around the mini map, its just been me exploring the world and upgrading Max, The Car(s), & The various hideouts this game has so much replay ability if you end up playing it like i currently am the story is very robust and in my review it states this game is made especially for casual gamers, by all means i believe its also well made for the hardcore gamers as well the sound from the cars and the NPCs are very funny and also fit the theme of the game just as they do in the Mad Max movies, The Graphics are also great the gameplay is on par with other open world action games with lots of depth and side missions before finishing the entirety of the game, id say give this game a try its very enjoyable

This game is super dope, took a while to get going, but now about 6 hours in it is a runaway freight train of awesome!!! The map is immense I cant stress that enough...I got caught trying to outrun a storm at night, and it was one of the coolest moments I've ever experienced in a game
Rated 2 out of 10 by colt45z Just too basic...
This game basically does all the work for you. Driving is fun but glitchy at times and combat outside of the vehicle is just plain boring. There is no sense of control and it comes off as very underdeveloped fighting mechanics. I wish the game was as good as all the trailers look. If you are looking for a solid game that is fresh and new, this is not it. If you want something that is easy and has a ton of nostalgia from the MAD MAX movie series, sure this might help scratch that itch. Overall it was worth a try but not worth a buy.

I was iffy on whether or not to buy the game. I've seen the movie and was worried that the game wasn't going to be as good because they kept pushing back the release date. I decided to give it a try and was amazed on how good the graphics, storyline, and gameplay actually were. I actually would say that this game is better than the movie and has a much more interesting storyline. I give this game a 10/10 and is definitely in my top 5 games of the year.

This game has a different storyline than the movie. This game is also fun and addictive. The storyline and gameplay are a 9/10 but heres the bad part of the review. What they don't tell you is there are a lot of bugs and glitches in the game that could be fatal. Theres bugs that can be worked out and those that are impossible without a patch or update. This game is new so I understand that its not 100% perfect. Other than this I would definitely play this game and recommend it to anyone who likes Mad Max.

Most people would assume right off the bat that my review will be bad, however I have a lot of good things to say about the game. We will start off about the obvious relationship that was meant to be developed between you as the player and the car known as the Magnum Opus. This relationship is built simply by using the car, upgrading it, and mastering it. Our beautiful Magnum Opus was at the center of the upgrade system to the entire game. Overall it was acceptable except for when looking at engines. You will find a separation between V6 and V8 engines. Not one of the last missions do we get access to the V8 engines. This doesn't seem to bad, but when you look at the bonuses to acceleration which help bring the car up from negative acceleration. This is a problem in the first place because by the point you gain the V8 your vehicle should be or is close to being fully completed. Going with the idea of upgrades we are given the ability to upgrade some things for strongholds to increase our salvage production as well as quality of life changes for refills. The cast of interesting characters was well done, however it holds a flaw in that the characters feel a little more paper-thin than they do fleshed out. This is due to a lack of emotional connection to some characters. Repetitive mechanics with all forms of combat as well as the world activities meant it was more of a brainless activity for myself. Where Mad Max really shines is how you feel yourself progress in power with the convoys as the constant. Moments where you were taking enemies out one by one in your care made you feel so power. Aside from all these bad things I found the game extremely enjoyable as it focused on removing threat, upgrading max and the car, and gaining a legend throughout the entire story.

I hardly ever write reviews but my god this game is amazing. The graphics are unreal! the sound of the car ripping through the sand blowing stuff up gives me goosebumbs. Don't listen to the harsh reviews they are delusional. GET THIS GAME you will not regret it.

At first, I was disappointed that there was no Mel Gibson in the movie (or game), but then I saw footage of the flick (and game) and my fears were gone - like that. Moreover, this killer-looking movie has the same producer & director as the original three, so my doubts were completely erased. Having seen somewhat detailed videos on this game, I'm even more psyched, as there seems to be very light RPG elements added to it, what with building up Max's armor, as well as his vehicle's -- the Pursuit Special. ;) Modding his armor and car adds a great personal touch to the open-world look of the game. Looking. Forward. To. This.
