good but the story didn't pull me in
great graphics but didn't go to ps4's full potentials I mean I am a hardcore gamer just go to youtube and look up m bren but this game isn't great
Great, worth the money.
Don't understand why people are hating on this game, It is fun lol. It's a pretty tough game and not going to lie, it makes you feel dumb when you get hit. Overall, just beautiful and worth it in my opinion.
I just saw the video of this game and it looks exactly as Kameo,... the first game of the xbox 360 that must be like 10 years old and the concept is basicly the same. Couldnt they do better game with all the extras of a new generation console? Otherwise it looks like a game for children 5 years old.
Knack.. A good one so far.
I can personally say that this game turned out to be a lot more fun than I anticipated it to be. I'm pretty fond of FPS games and I got this game for my wife to play. and as soon as we started playing we got so hooked. being able to play Co-op on a campaign was so much fun on this game! the mechanics and gameplays are a lot similar to Crash bandicoot buffed up with a little god of war on it! and there's a lot of cut scenes on the campaign as well that details what is going on currently with your progress.
the only thing I find less interesting though is the Story. It's a bit "Weak" they could've made it a little more Interesting.
But that does not really affects how fun this game is. great for casual gamers and the Family. truly a New Gen Plat-former "Classic" !
Way better than the reviews its been receiving
I bought three games for the PS4 at launch and this is my favorite one. I bought a PS4 to play Infamous Second Son, The Order, and Uncharted 4. This game isn't going to be comparable to those games but it's a lot of fun with a cool story. If you have kids that like to play video games or watch you play games then this is a great game to pick up.
fun but challenging
Very similar game to Jak and Daxter and Crash. I just finally completed the game not to long ago and as it was frustrating at some point, the story line is great and it shows how much it has improved from previous game i.e: Jak, Crash.
A nice Niche game for PS4
Knack is a beautiful title, that is easy to play, and very easy to like. It is a typical linear platformer, which does plenty to show off the graphics of the new system. Children and young gamers will like the simplicity of "jump over this, collect that, and punch this", but older gamers will be drawn to its throwback style. The plot is outright predictable, but it still remains to be a fun game. The save points in each level aren't very consistent. Knack is, by no means a blockbuster, but it is a game worth picking up. If platformers are your thing, Knack is for you!
Good, just not Great.
I thought this game would be freaking awesome, but as Tribes 2, D3, and several other games have taught me, wait and see.
I have read a few reviews on this game, and they are correct, it is a simple beat em up lacking complexity that is apparently "required" for games now. But on that same note, Mario hasn't changed in 3 decades.... Moving on.
The game play can be repetitive but the levels look great. It is easily on par with other games of a similar are style from the PS3, not a major upgrade in graphics but that is expected. It does however, please the eyes.
My only major criticism is that there could have been more to the game. It flirts Greatness on several occasions, such as when you have stealth Knack, but it just doesn't quite get there. The platforming, could have been more expansive and the monsters maybe a little more diverse.
Overall though this is not a bad game, it is in fact a good game, worth your time, maybe not at full price, let it drop $10-$20 and you'll see it's money well spent.
this game is actaully good for hardcore adventures
this game is good for hardcore adventure gamers not the causel type this should take time to beat and collect all of the trophys
Very pretty, strong gameplay, weak story.
I got Knack as one of my PS4 pre-order titles. It's the first game I played on PS4 and it didn't disappoint. The game was fun, fast-paced and smooth. Like most kids oriented games Knack suffers from relatively weak story, but retains strong gameplay mechanics. The character design is childish, but the other visuals in the game are spectacular. Pay particular attention to details on granite rocks in the game. I beat the game in about 18 hours, got about 20% of the achievements and decided I didn't need to play the game again, so I'll be trading it in for value toward another future PS4 release.
