This game is amazing. The amount of exploring, fighting, looting, and conquering you can do in this game is insane. Aside from the pretty amazing graphics, the game features a campaign that takes days to complete. (much longer than a shooter game). Never for a really long time will you have nothing to do in the game. The game features a super in-depth character creation feature and a storyline that no other game comes close to.

RPG's have never been my first choice as a gamer. But, as I've gotten older I've started taking a liking to them. I've gone thru several RPG's before I've found something that really caught my attention, and this game is the one. I'm only about 17-hours into the game so far...which is quite a stretch for my usual game-attention span. And, I can't wait to get home and find time to continue the adventure/story. I'm speaking as a total casual gamer. I'm having a blast with this game. The only element of the game which I find a bit off is the Tactical Camera. It's a great idea...the camera itself though is just a bit wonky. But, it doesn't bother me too much as I don't play on the higher difficulty levels. I'm just enjoying the story, leveling up my character(s), and finding/crafting new armor/items/weapons. Great game...highly recommend. Just have to give it some time to grow on you if you're not a big RPG fan, or if you are an RPG fan...try not to let your previous biases with other games alter your personal experience with the game.

Rated 9 out of 10 by Takwin Bioware is back and they delivered a gem
Lose yourself in a gorgeous massive open world, with many different stories to follow and tales to be forged. The Skyhold fortress, mission map, party system, crafting system - all excellent. The voice acting is great. Your party members have a LOT of variety in personality and you have at least 2 of each class, plus yourself, to field a party of 4, so you can play it your way and change as the situation dictates.
The great mix of Skyrim-type action RPG and slower, turn-based RPG like Transistor and similar to Fire Emblem. It's a little more action-y than Origins, and even though I generally prefer pure turn-based games, I was entertained and engaged with the combat system throughout the game.
Rest assured, a stunning success like this shows that Bioware is back after the SWTOR mistake (we all wanted KOTOR 3) and the misfire at the end of Mass Effect 3 (which I still loved anyway). Now, we can all look forward to Mass Effect 4, and whatever else Bioware has in store for us.

Rated 8 out of 10 by yahiko Good but slightly flawed
First, i love the game, it was great and i have over 200 hours invested in it. The story is actually good regardless of what people say. It does feel like it was hastily thrown together concerning the mage and templar war, which really should have been focused on more, although it is cool to meet character who agreed and didnt agree with logain in the first game. Having NPCs on either side of the plots of the last game really made this on enjoyable, as did meeting old PCs who are NPCs now and seeing how they have changed. The graphics are stunning although you will notice some glitches. The main complete is that the characters never really shine, they could have been so much better. The ending also feels a little odd, maybe a little to open to interpretation. Gameplay is not to hard except for a few bosses which only make their battles more dramatic and impactful and if you found them to easy their are dragons who i still have not managed to beat even after clearing the story.

Rated 8 out of 10 by Kangaroo77 Good, in-depth game. Not my style though...
Now, for a while I had held back on Dragon Age: Inquisition, since I had never really been a fan of the previous games, but I decided to give this Dragon Age game a chance to live up to its hype. Now, let me tell you, this game is a good game. Don't get me wrong, the graphics and the game play are both phenomenal, but I just couldn't get used to the game play. I played for a solid 6 hours, hoping that I would get used to it, but I just never did. It seemed kind of lacking in something, like a flow that I had noticed in games like Dark Souls or The Witcher. Now, like I said above, it's a great game, especially if it's your style, it just didn't fit my play-style, but hopefully it will fit yours! With superb graphics and sound, along with plenty of replayability and lasting appeal, I'm going to give the game a 8/10 simply because it is definitely a good game, but it just didn't fit my area of gaming. Happy gaming and good luck getting your Inquisition together!

Rated 2 out of 10 by babman121 I tried, and I wanted to like it so much
But, i just couldn't, the cutscenes are so long and boring, and the gameplay is absolutely terrible, if you like diablo, then you might like this. I can't stand just holding a button and sitting back while the health of the enemies you are fighting slowly go down with your party. The gameplay is just so repetitive and boring. I fell asleep during a cutscene, the game is just not for me. If you like diablo or any of the dragon age games, then you will like this. It's just not for me. The pitcher i think is a 10x better RPG. Try that if you are unsure about this.

Rated 9 out of 10 by Death1615 A decent RPG
While greatly enjoying the game, I found the music wasn't super impressive, by far wasn't bad, just nothing special. The graphics are very, very good. The gameplay is near perfect, with the only flaw, to me, being that you can't move and fight, making kiting pretty much impossible. The character creation is somewhat odd, okay maybe more than odd, and it is kind of lacking. Despite this, there are still a lot of options, but I fear that like 50% of my characters had to be messed around with a lot, b/c several hairstyles just make them look weird as heck (not in a good way). The decisions are quite impactful, and the burden of your choices weigh down on you. Overall I give it a 9/10, because it is a lot of fun.

Rated 10 out of 10 by Shilo45 Great Game
I have played all of the DA games and have enjoyed them all but DAI surpasses all other video games I have played. I started playing back in the early 80s so I know what I am talking about. If you want just a hack and slash, this isn't it, although there is plenty of that too. There are stories to envelop the player, carrying you into the lives of the characters. A lot to explore, a lot to do. I have played it through 4 times and am starting the 5th, waiting for The Witcher. DAI will always be one of my favorite games. I hope they have more in the works for the future. They left enough openings (spoiler alert).
I can't say enough to praise this game. The only problem that I had is having to use the L3 to find items but you get use to it quick.

Rated 5 out of 10 by Jeffaffah Horrible fighting...
I was really, really disappointed with this. The fighting is horrible. It takes an entire party of heroes to take down a single templar, or whatever they're called. Just couldn't get over the weird controls and the awful fighting. Don't get me wrong, the story was amazing, just can't get over that gameplay.
