Call of Duty:Infinite Warfare Game Overview

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare delivers something for every Call of Duty fan with three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. Delivering a rich and engaging narrative in a setting unlike anything to date in a Call of Duty game, the campaign is a return to the franchise's gritty, military roots throughout new environments never before seen in the franchise.

The player will embark on a classic war story about grand scale warfare; all set in a grounded future where human conflict has spread throughout our solar system. Multiplayer action combines Call of Duty's popular chain-based movement system with ground-breaking gameplay innovations to deliver the deepest and most engaging Call of Duty experience to date. The title introduces stunning, never before seen, multi-planetary environments, new weaponry, and all-new player abilities to Call of Duty. In addition, the new Zombies experience will thrill co-op players with an original direction featuring fun and unique gameplay, all wrapped into an entertaining narrative sure to excite fans.

  • RETURN TO CLASSIC, LARGE-SCALE WAR - Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will take players on an unforgettable journey as they engage in battles from Earth to beyond our atmosphere against a relentless, enemy faction that threatens our very way of life. It's grand scale war and hallmark Call of Duty action with memorable characters, rich emotional arcs, and stunning new environments, all within an epic new setting.
  • A CALL OF DUTY CAMPAIGN TO REMEMBER - Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare puts storytelling front and center, in a deeply engaging narrative. It features jaw-dropping set-pieces and blockbuster cinematic moments, while also delivering a gripping portrayal of war that harkens back to the roots of the franchise. Infinity Ward also breaks new ground by thrusting the player into wartime leadership as Captain Reyes, a Tier 1 Special Operations pilot, who takes the helm of the Retribution, one of Earth's last remaining warships. In a time of unthinkable hardships, Reyes must lead the remnants of coalition forces against a relentless foe in a war that spans our solar system.
  • FIGHTING A FANATICAL ENEMY - The Settlement Defense Front (SetDef) represents a splinter group of insurgents that broke away from the United Nations Space Alliance during a war of secession, years ago. In the world of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, our planet has been stripped of its natural assets through population growth and industrial expansion. The people of Earth now rely upon colonies throughout the solar system to mine planets and asteroids for necessary fuel and other resources. The SetDef is a fascist power, comprised of brutal and militant radicals, toughened by the extreme conditions of offworld environments. They seek to control those outposts and their wealth, putting a stranglehold on the countries of Earth. After years of uneasy stalemate, diplomatic relations are strained, and it will take only the slightest nudge to lead to full-scale war.
  • GEAR UP FOR INTENSE MULTIPLAYER - Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will incorporate the popular chain-based movement system players know and love into an innovative multiplayer experience that rewards players more than ever before for utilizing their surroundings and applying strategy in the heat of the moment. Maps are designed to further leverage the chain-based movement system and immerse players into fast, fun, and frenetic gameplay that players have come to expect from Call of Duty. With its new approach to play, multiplayer will bring innovative gameplay that challenges players to achieve their goals in creative ways based on their specific play style.
  • BATTLE THE LIVING DEAD IN A ZOMBIES THRILLER - Infinity Ward introduces a fresh take on the nightmarish Zombies mode in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. With an all-new, immersive Zombies storyline for players to uncover and explore, players are thrust into a spine tingling adventure not for the faint of heart. Zombies will take players on a wild ride with a multitude of new features, while thrilling players with the core mechanics that fans have come to expect from the mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shocked! I thought the game was not gonna be as good as I have seen and played. The new zombies is actually pretty good and on top of that Modern Warfare remastered is a great edition to the game as well. The sale price for everything of this was fantastic and not beatable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Game is over all great. I played the game not as easy at first though with in 20 minutes anyone can pick up the remote and do some what okay and have lots of fun.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Decent FPS Game is great for running around and having fast paced action. But for people who like to take it slow or snipe, its not very good. Right now there is a low amount of weapons and getting a decent amount of currency takes a long time and so does getting outfits for characters. Honestly to me, i feel like this game was rushed and is half done. But other than that, it is still fun to play most of the time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In my humble opinion, it is MORE than worth $80 If you are not inherently biased towards Call of Duty, or the Jetpacking style of Call of Duty, there is much to be enjoyed. To begin with, from a value standpoint you are getting two full games for $80 in a market where you would typically pay $120. That's a good a deal as you're going to find, especially for blockbuster titles such as Call of Duty. Furthermore, Infinite Warfare packs 3 different game modes itself, Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies. The campaign is relatively short (which maybe a negative or positive depending on how much time you have available to play), and offers a fresh deviation from traditional Call of Duty, as the story takes place in outer space and missions can be completed in the order you please. Overall the Campaign wasn't life changing, but an enjoyable experience. Moving on to Zombies, this time around the included Zombies experience is Zombies in Spaceland, a much friendlier take than previous installments. The map is large, with many open spaces that make it easier to survive the hordes of zombies. The main easter egg is pretty freakin' cool, the story behind Zombies is as well, and I'm looking forward to completing the quest as the new DLC continues to roll out. Overall Zombies is something that I always look forward to, and Infinity Ward actually exceeded my expectations with this latest version. Now, Multiplayer, this is where most people were up in arms (the Infinite Warfare trailer is still the most disliked YouTube video to date), and I'm going to be honest initially I was adamantly opposed to the Multiplayer as well. I began playing Call of Duty with Call of Duty 4, and when the franchise began transitioning to the futuristic style of play I actually stepped away from playing Call of Duty altogether. But as a couple years passed, and I matured some, I became more openminded and fair in approaching these games (Life in general). With this game my distaste for the Jetpacking style has been washed away, moreover, I actually enjoy the Jetpacking style now. That is NOT to say I prefer Jetpacking over the traditional boots-on-the-ground, that is not the case, and I'm looking forward to Call of Duty going back to boots-on-the-ground with their next game. BUT, if you are not inherently biased towards the Jetpacking style of play (as I once was), and give it a fair shake, it can be a lot of fun. Your focus, awareness, and reaction time have to be on point, as this game is played at an EVEN faster pace than boots-on-the-ground Call of Duty. Multiplayer offers a TON in terms of character and gun customization, and it's pretty cool if you're into that kind of thing. Overall the Multiplayer isn't my favorite among the Call of Duty franchise, but it's still a lot of fun to play with buddies if you don't mind the Jetpacking style of play. As for Modern Warfare Remastered, this is the game that made me fall in love with Call of Duty, and this Remastered version stays true to the original in terms of gameplay, whilst boosting the graphics and sound to 2016 standards. Modern Warfare Remastered offers Campaign, and Multiplayer, both critically-acclaimed game modes that pushed the first-person shooter genre forward, and that just about sums it up. At this point in time they have updated the game to include all of the original multiplayer maps that weren't included at launch, and they have added the "supply drop" system found in the newer Call of Dutys that brings a breath of fresh air to this classic game. Overall Modern Warfare Remastered is top 2 favorite Call of Dutys of mine, and truly the reason I purchased this game in the first place (although, like I mentioned earlier, in giving Infinite Warfare a fair shake I found great enjoyment in it). In conclusion, for the price of $80 there is no better deal I know of on the video game market at the moment. You get 5 game modes across 2 different games, offering countless hours of blockbuster gameplay, with tons to do and EVEN more downloadable content to come. If you are a Call of Duty player this is a MUST buy, if you are on the fence about trying these games out, in my humble opinion it is MORE than worth it's retail price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best COD title in years Campaign is the best the franchise has seen in years. Multiplayer is still not up to par. Modern Warfare Remastered was excellent. Reminds me of why I love the series. The original MW multiplayer is still one of the best in the series.
