DualShock 4 Charging Station for PlayStation 4
Words cannot describe how much I detest this charging station. It is extremely awkward to attach the controllers to the individual docks, something nearly impossible to do without having to re-position the controllers and/or the station several times. The only benefit is that they glow when they're charging, so you know when you have them positioned correctly and clicked down. Unfortunately, after 5 months the product charges the controllers only 25% of the time now, and I often go to use the controller only to find out it is dead. Save yourself the aggravation and buy a different charging station.
looks good but
Mine worked good for a little wile then one side of the dock stopped after a month so i like the style of it but $30 is to much to pay for a item that is cheaply made.
I thought that it was going to take a very long time for me to charge just one, but it didn't take that long. I really like the style of it but it would be nice if they would have made the plug in a little bit less bulky. I have a lot of stuff plugged in and I needed to move a lot of stuff so that it would fit but other then that, its really nice.
Nice Looking but not nice
Bought one and this thing looks awesome but its flimsy and the contacts are pretty weak, one of them stopped working after a day! I'm going to try out the other controller docking stations at this point.
I bought these to charge my PS4 controllers and love it. It charges the controllers fast and the compact size makes it perfect to fit wherever you decide to put it.
I recommend this to anyone who owns a PS4.
no matter what when I charge them though they are glowing as if charging they are completely drained by the next day. Not good at all, dont get this i dont recommended!!!
Answer to Grandma
No, Shuhei has said PS4 will not need to remain on to power via USB. The system never really turns off, just goes in to a suspended state while everything remains in RAM. One click of a button instantly returns you to where you left off thanks to the GDDR5.
Don't waste your money -
This product is awkward and troublesome. The 'clicking' base where you are to push down for the controller to recharge is at an odd angle, which makes it hard to slide it in correctly. It charges fine, but the angle is annoying enough to make me want another that doesn't leave me playing with it for a few minutes every time I try to recharge my controller.
Mine was Horrid
I saved up enough power points so I got it for free and makes a fancy 'stand' for my controllers but no matter what when I charge them though they are glowing as if charging they are completely drained by the next day.
I wonder if the positive reviews came from the makers trying to unload this on unsuspecting players. Stick with the USB cable, these things aren't worth the price even if it worked as it should (30 dollars is way too much because it's cheaply made) much less knowing they deplete the charge not actually recharge them.
will you still have to have system on?
finally they made one but my question is will you have to have the ps4 on for it to charge like most of the ps3 stuff ?
