Rated 7 out of 10 by weece22 best SVR yet, but still needs some work
this is one of the games i got for Christmas this year. i have been buying smackdown vs raw games for about the past 4 years and must say that this one is the best of all of them. SOUND- sound is good. all of the superstars, divas, and announcers and commentators voices sound accurate. but i hated that Michael Cole and jerry lawler both did smackdown and raw broadcasts. maybe they just didn't have time to put smackdown commentators in. GRAPHICS- graphics wise, this game has the best of all the SVR's.- but they still need some work. LASTING APPEAL- the lasting appeal, at least for me, is not very good. i have only had this game for about a month and am already ready to trade it in. so, yeah; you do the math. GAME-PLAY- gameplay is very good. all of the superstar's moves seem authentic. also, i like the new moves with ladders. overall, this game is just a game to play to fill in the spaces between when the bigger titles come out.- but still the best Smackdown vs Raw game yet. by the way- where is ECW and NXT!?!?

Well, I saw 14 minutes of "Today on the Spot" that featured this game and WWE All-Stars on Youtube, and This game looks absolutely FANTASTIC!!! All of the weapons are now dynamic! A table is no longer part of an animation. If something collides with it, it breaks(or just collapses on its legs and doesn't break). It can be stacked anywhere, on eachother, on ringside, on the ropes, on the announcer table, on the barricade, well you get it. Same with ladders, they do all of the same stuff. Plus, you can control moves in mid-air, so you can direct a suplex, or a powerbomb towards the table or ladder behind you(the pieces also stay behind, until more things come out and it fades out to improve performance). You can also throw chairs now. Plus, your characters flex their muscles during taunts and moves, instead of always being a perfect figure. Thats what was in the preview. I can't wait to learn about everything else. To anyone hoping to buy the game, I hope this helped! To THQ, you owe me money for every person I just persuaded to pre-order your product!

cant wait for this game its going to be hard for them to top last years game wich was great but why doesnt thq show us some screen shots or release any roster info? anyways some things i would like in svr 2011 would be to fix the online lag that somtimes happens in all of their previous games and give us 6 man match types online like a triple threat tag match chamber matches and 6 man battle royal/rumble and 6 man money in the bank. I loved svr 2010 online community so i dont think they need to change anything there. The only thing that sucks is that this year alot of the awesome wrestlers are gone from the wwe like jeff hardy shelton ric flair hogan mr anderson batista hbk(but he will be in this 1 i bet) and mikie james.I will be picking this game up on the day it comes out just like i have done with every wwf/wwe game but i hope that thq puts out TNAs next game because i think they have more wrestlers that i would want to play as unlike the wwe where i only like about 5 of the guys they have left but as long as my boy Y2J is in it im happy BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!

Alright this game is an amazing improvment to Smackdown vs Raw series. Breaking Tables Easier,Cell matches etc. The up's are that they give you something to do when your done with RTWM and you can create amazing storyline and such. The New TLC Match let's you have the title hanging up instead of pinning the oponnent. The superstar have some good overall ratings but there not at all what i would compare them too. The downs are the online game play you still lag like heck, controls are VERY BAD like i try to put the guy in a grapple and he does something else i like 2010's controls the best, Ohh and the RTWM Was TERRIBLE! WORST one yet really boring nothing to do! But Walking around was preetty fun that was an up! Overall i Will be getting this game but if the new features like:TLC/ cell match,Superstars,Arenas,Wwe Universe Mode were all in Smackdown vs Raw 2010 I would be the happiest Kid Alive!

Everything about this game is good, except for the choice of difficulty of skill levels. Although the game is a good game, your frustation level may blind you of that. First off, the skill level difficulty is horrible. It goes Easy, Normal, Hard, and then Champion or something. On easy, they don't even put up a fight. On Normal, which seems like an average skill level, is still below average. I bought the game and played for the first time on Normal and still beat the heck out of John Cena. Then, you get to Hard. All of a sudden, they actually are skilled and athletic, and it's nearly impossible to beat someone unless you've had the game for months. I haven't even tried the hardest level yet, but I imagine it's automatic death. That's really all that's wrong with the game. I would recommend starting on Normal and staying on it until you start putting guys down within a minute, at least.
Rated 8 out of 10 by HPMP123 WWE SVR 2011 an okay video game
SVR 2011 is an okay game for WWE fans and or wrestling fans except when you play online your rank for your community creations from your uploads and from your win and lose streak from your matches will not update on the day you win or lose a match until the person in charge of the online thing updates the online and ranks of all players and when you play online in a tag team match for an example it lags that you sometimes or not even at all can counter another players wrestling move when you have the chance to do so and in WWE Universe Mode if you turn it on and not turn it off when you play an offline match you will most of the time will see a scene of your wrestler or your opponent get beaten down that it will only take one or two moves from you or your opponent to go for the three count in a number one contenders match, championship match, or in a non title match to win in less than a minute which is dumb and sometimes glitches will happen when you go to view or make a create a finisher and strange things will happen when your there and during an offline match of any kind other than that this game is fine
