iv'e played smackdown vs. raw 2011 and it stunk and one thing that stunk was that they called randy orton a girl like jerry the king lawler would say "she needs to that opportunnity to gain (fast foward) to win th womens champion ship" and another is that the commentary say the wrong things like if john cena was doing a attiude adjusment the commentary would say "and cena with the 5 knukle shuffle" and the last thing is that they need to add more features to the create mode like more faces and gear for your character andnew finisher grapples i felt like i was playing 2010 and last thing longer longer road to wrestlemania's i mean if we are going to get 5 of them every time then make them longer because a ps3 (witch i have) and x box have already a memory card in them so wwe'12 step your game up and it might be a number one game for ounce

I know what the trailers and gameplay make it seem like. AWESOME! But no. The games graphics are great, but the gameplay and sound is bad. First, it is very boring. The RTWM seems good, but is long and there is too many backstage brawls. Also, it seems repetitive. Then goes gameplay. In SVR 11, the physics were great! The tables broke great and you could throw them on ladders and stuff. But in WWE 12, the tables actually have a glitch the it goes in the air. If you throw someone on a ladder, they just bounce off it. If you smack them with a chair, throw them off the HIAC, and bust them open, they get up in 7 seconds. There also too much "Go threw stuff glitches". Next, online. In CC, it always freezes and you can never download or upload anything. The matches lag often and it almost impossible to win with the pin and submission system. Last, we go to sound. The commentary is boring and predictable. The crowd sound is also very plain.
So if you want a WWE game from Gamestop, get WWE13

I dont know why people are hating on this game personaly this game is great i havent been into wrestle games that much since 08 because i was a fan of general manager mode no this game doesnt have it but it offers alot.Like makeing your own arena for years people complain because THQ never added the rings they wanted well now if they dont have it go make it.create your own titantron(Entrance Video) Is Pretty Cool i like it.Create a wrestler isnt that much different.Universe mod i found fun say you dont feel like playing raw and smackdown change it to wcw monday nitro and ecw or starrcade and nxt don't matter you choose the belts for the brand the ppv's The name if you don't want to use a old brand use a custon logo and make your own.only thing i didn't find fun was RTWM wasn't that fun but no problem.Thq need to also work on their servers abit more but other than that Great Graphics Great sound glitches here and there but overall i love this game i play it everyday you want a fun wrestling game buy it.

This game looks amazing best yet hands down as far as looks/graphics go. The downfall which isn't crazy horrible is the new controlling I have been playing since the first SD vs RA W game and this is the 2nd time they have changed the controlling im not a fan of the new gameplay. But I will in time get used to it. The creation and customization options in WWE 12 are awesome and the create arena is very nice. The only other negatives I would have is during Road to Wrestlemania the guys voices are to soft compared to the audience and commentary. Also another negative for now anyway is the online servers can't keep up with everything that is going on so it will be a little while before your able to stay online. Listen if your a wrestling fan your gonna be upset with the new controls but this game is one as a fan you can't pass up is the game the best ever probably not but it is the best looking to date and has alot of features that you'll enjoy.

This is one of those games that is more of a hype than anything else. The DLC of this years WWE game is one of the best with names like Randy Savage for example. The game play itself is a hit and miss. It takes a little while to get used to the controls. Certain superstar models look excellent, like CM Punk, but others like Booker T not so much. Sad, when Booker looked better in TNA's game. Road To WrestleMania is one of those modes this year that you probably will only want to play once. Universe is an improvement from last year, but will still get stale as time goes on. One big up for this game is the create-an-arena feature. Online is truly a shot in the dark. Sometimes it'll work fine and other times you'll struggle with it.
All in all there isn't really a lot of replay value with this. Unless, your a die-hard WWE fan, I wouldn't even bother. If you have a PS2 then stick with some of the older titles (Here Comes The Pain especially).

WWE 12 really puts more power to the player more than ever before. Universe Mode 2.0 works really well, and the ability to change venues, logos, and even titles, allows you to even turn the entire game into WCW, Impact wrestling, or anything you can imagine. Once again online returns and allows to you download user created content, which is great for customizing your world to your hearts desire. The game drastically improves over Smackdown vs raw 2011 in almost everyway. No more annoying auto-saving after every lil-action. A must own for any wrestling fan or someone even slightly interested. My overall review is, best graphics to date for a wrestling game, everything looks really good. Gameplay and lasting appeal are top notch, and will keep you playing the game for hours, especially in Universe mode. Of-course you can always go online and face others. You can also actually make your own title matches now, which you could not do in Smackdown vs Raw 2011 unless using annoying tricks. Sounds is really good, especially for entrances, and commentary, however, some commentary can become repetitive and annoying.
