Rated 10 out of 10 by Ocelot_300 Wolfenstein review
Wolfenstein feels like it falls somewhere between FarCry2 and Cod WaW. It uses a city that works as a central hub where you can explore, accept missions and upgrade weapons and power somewhat like FarCry's open world map although far smaller. Cod WaW and Wolfenstein contain the similarities of both being world war 2 shooters but the similarities also run a bit deeper including the control scheme and how the ai reacts and functions. Wolfenstein has a moderately interesting story but the gameplay makes up for this with it's fun, inventive weapons and sheer difficulty. I personally thought the campaign was more enjoyable than both FarCry's and Cod (not Cod 4 though that game will probably always be the #1 fps) but the multiplayer looks small and crippled next to those 2 (the multiplayer was seperately developed from the game by a different company). My only complaints are that when I started the game, the framerate seemed slow and that the multiplayer is only ok.

I was extremely exited when I bought the new Wolfenstein! Don't get me wrong, the campaign is awesome (except for the fact that B.J. looks like a wimpy shampoo model rockin' a lame leather jacket) because there's plenty of action, lots of gore, and decent graphics-nothing to WOW about though. Resistance2 still stomps all over this game! But after you beat the campaign, you will tire from this game fast! The multiplayer has to be one of the worst ever-an utter failure! PS2 multiplayer games were better for Alien51! It really is a joke when you go to the multiplayer; a complete letdown! The lag is rediculous! If you have a wireless connection, you're screwed! You can't host any games and inside the game booklet, it even says that you will have trouble unless you plug your internet directly into the PS3. What year is this again? Overall it's a perfect game to rent because the Campaign really is sick, but I wouldn't buy this!

I'm very excited about this game. I never played the original. I did play Return to castel wolfienstien for the Ps2 when it came out years ago. Since then i think i speak for most of us when i say we have become used to current gen sytems. With this game i'm eager to it play based on the story. I know alot of people are tired of WW2 shooters except for Call of duty world at war. I know this is not going to be like the nazi zombie mode on call of duty. What people fail to realize is how deep into the occult the Nazis actually were. It's something i have done alot of research on. I'm eager to see how this turns out. I know it will be a great shooter. I dont think though it will be anything like Call of duty as that was based on more fact. Where this game is more of a what if this actually happened? Just because it's set during world war 2, i doubt it will be like any WW2 game that is out there now.

I rented this game and it is awesome! Blood and a perfect shooter! You are a dude who has a round object thing and it contains powers and they are really helpful through out the game. It is based in WW2 so you are fighting Nazis who some stronger Nazis also have this power. You have your basic WW2 weapons: MP40, Rifle, bazooka, and there is this awesome gun which contains the power. You shoot it and it blows people up! Sweetz! Ok, I am glad I rented this because it is now my favorite shooter! Online... It is pretty fun but Only 12 people each match, but at least 6 people per team. Also, in online It shows your enemies health bar so you know when your enemy is about to die. It is hard online cause everyone is so good at it. But you just need to keep training. Anyway, Graphics are good, Guns, and campaign mode is the bomb...I recommend this game! You will not be disappointed! I give it 5/5!

This is by far the best of the Wolfenstein series. The story is great, graphics are good and sounds are Beautiful I would definately go and buy this game if I were you. The only thing thats a drag about this game is the length I felt like I was just getting to a good part and it was over. They dint make games that last a while anymore. Dont get for little kids some of the qraphics can be pretty grusome. If you have played Call of Duty world at war and love how you can blow youe enemies arms legs heads and hands off than you will love tgis one. The creatures are awsome skeletons giant spoofs of the incredible hulk invisible demons and a whole bunch of little nazis which are fun to use as target practice definately get this one peeps I am looking forward to the new batman game next week ive played the demo and loved it go download the demo if you havent already.

I got this game today and I've been playing it since I got home. The game play is amazingly fun. I love how if you shoot someone in a certain body part, they'll react in the matter one would. A cool thing I like about this game is the black market when you're not doing a mission. throughout missions you'll find gold and such so that you can buy upgrades for your weapons such as silencers and a scope for the Kar 98. Graphics are nice. Very vivid and the lighting is amazing in the game. Sound is one thing that you must listen to. Everything sounds so heavy and amazing. If you shoot the mg 42 it sounds like you're shooting the real thing. However, there is one problem that I have with the game. Multilayer. For it being a relatively new game there are very little people playing and from what I see, I doubt it will get popular. People must use their connection to make game rooms and boy you will be lagging like no other. I've gotten kicked from 3/5 games because the connection to the host is not good enough for them to host games. Overall, I guess it's a cool FPS. Really nice overall. Like I said, in my opinion, the only problem will be multiplayer

This game is an awesome representation of the classic Wolfenstein style. The characters are continued from "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" and the storyline is just as great. The same type of thrilling enemies and unique challenges are brought into this new game. The regular graphics are good, but could be a little better. On the normal setting, the challenge of the game is at a decent level for the average player. The boss levels require some thinking to figure out how to defeat the enemy, however, they are all do-able. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys first-person shooters. You'll never know what to expect from the enemies in this game. They might be invisible and kill you upon first impact, or they might just be the normal shooting "bad guy." Either way, you're in for a fun, adventurous game.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Gonzo21 Great game!!!
This game was great! it took me about 18 hours to beat it, it had some challenge with the bosses. Graphics are next-gen and controls are really good. Finding hidden items make it very replayable, along with the added cheat unlock at the end to go back and really put the heat down on the hardest setting. If you like Bioshock you will like this game, the weapons are really cool too, a mix of WW2 type with sci-fi. I would give the game itself a 10, but there is one thing that really dissapointed me... Multi-player, online. It has got to be the worst online-play since Gears, very late 90's. Dreamcast had games that were ten times better to play online than this. So if you want it for online play do not buy it you will hate it, but if you are content with a great single player story mode then you won't be let down.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Bob "No, I'm Not Turning Right" K Super Game...When's The Next One Coming?
The wait for the game was well worth it. The character of BJ was a little lame in a leather jacket...kinda reminded me of the Fonz for those of you who remember Happy Days. I did really like the addition of the ability to slow time down fractionally in the game. It made strategies a little different. The Zeppelin was a different touch, although a little archaic against the aircraft of the time. Now, when will they make another installment of the game? I would like to see them extend the story line and maybe even take it in a future timeline where the Nazis have conquered the world and BJ has got to destroy the time travel device. It'd be a good twist I think. Also add in some more of the mutants and the like.....anyway, it's a thought!!! Think about it fellas!!!

I cannot wait for this game. I've been playing Wolfenstein since the first release on my Commodore64 back in the mid to late 80's. It got better on the Commodore128, then went to PC, consoles came out and I played it on the Playstation, then PS2, and now with the PS3 release coming next week, this game is SURE to please. The mixed multiplayer online games from the PS2 were awesome and always provided no shortage of mayhem and countless hours of fun whether on the beachhead or in a building in berg...they just rock. Adding on the new features of the Occult which may help or hamper your character and with the ability to have weapons enfused with "magic" from the Occult, this new game is going to be crazy rad. Can't wait to see you fools online!
