Uncharted 3 Game of the Year Edition
Better than I Thought
A lot of people criticized this game for its lackluster story, glitches, etc... but I enjoyed it. The multiplayer is great, albeit the matchmaking being iffy a lot of the times. The campaign was of course, thrilling and action-packed. However, the two villains, Talbot and Marlowe, didn't get nearly as much screen time as they deserved. A shame, since they were the first villains in Uncharted to not fit in the generic "crazy psycho" title. The same goes for the two ladies, Elena and Chloe. They each appear for a few chapters, then they disappear. Despite all this, the game is still extremely fun, both online and offline. Split-screen is also fun and well done. All in all, this has been out a while so it's best to get it before it's too late.
This game is a blast to play. The single player is very fun and has OMG moments through out the whole game. The multi play is what makes this an even better value. I got this copy used and the online pass code worked (lucky me). With Multi now being free to play up to level 15 there are still plenty of people playing and the GOTY will save you a lot of money. Well worth the money getting this package even if you don't want to but new but have to pay for an online pass the value on the disk is WELL WORTH IT!
Excellent, excellent, excellent game
This IS one of the most excellent games I have EVER played. The graphics are incredible. If I had a nickel for every time I was jaw dropped at how good the graphics, gameplay, and story, I would literally be more rich than Steve Jobs.I don't know why some people are soar about the GOTY Edition.I mean seriously the dlc's are fine and its not glitchy unless you make it that way.Plus after your done with the story, just type in the online pass and you will have so much fun playing online. If you want a better review got to the IGN review for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the first 2 uncharted games, and dont get me wrong I play all of them all the time, but, Uncharted 3 kicks there butts. I bought the dual pack which has the 1st and 2nd game and I loved them so much that I bought this one in the same week. The bar fight scene is fun and an improvement from the hand to hand combat from the other games. I love the past scene where you get chased as a young Nathan Drake and how he meets Sully. I am not into online play and at my local gamestop, this was the only uncharted 3 that had a case( I was just going to buy the original but it didn't have a case) but you mine as well buy this because it's only a dollar more. It will also be more valuable if you ever sell it. And don't forget the plane scene either( AWESOME!) Buy this game now and if you don't have the other two then get those too. Dual Pack is only $15 right now.
Uncharted 3 shows great improvement in multiplayer compared to Uncharted 2.There are tons of things you can do once you finish the campaign. The campaign itself is also 1st class.Just not as great as Uncharted 2.Then again it was unbelivable how great Uncharted 2's campaign was.Even if you're not into multiplayer the campaign will keep you coming back. Also Uncharted 3 has more challenging puzzles which could be good or bad however you look at it.
Best Game Ever!
I already beaten all series of Uncharted, and I got to admit... they were the best! I just brought Uncharted "Game Of The Year Edition" so I can play Multiplayer with all DLC's. And I'm looking forward to it. :)
A truly ground-breaking experience.
One of the greatest sequels ever made.Graphics are outstanding.Gameplay is very polished. And Multiplayer is way past fun.
Unchrted 3 is good, but annoying some times.
this game is good for those who like to have adventure through slight troubles . there are many parts in where you get stuck and don't know what to do. For example, in the chapter As above, So below, you have to figure out which pillars you have to press at the same time. it is stressfull, and some times even with the answers you still don't know what to do, but you search up the web.
Possibly the greatest PS3 game ever!
This is probally the greatest Ps3 game ever made, got the Ps3 Uncharted 3 game of the year edition! It's fantastic must buy!
GOTY edition is a broken game, the original wasn't
It's genuinely deplorable, but this seemingly great value bundle is not worth any gamers time considering the irrefutable fact that this version is inferior to the original copy released nearly a year ago. Why? Last week I traded in my nearly one year old copy of Uncharted 3 and purchased the Game of the Year edition(North American version), I believe there is something inherently wrong with this rereleased version. Compared to my standard Uncharted 3 copy, the GOTY edition suffers from prevalent audio glitches, screen tearing, sporadic slowdown, a snail paced framerate(even under the most mundane gameplay circumstances) and certain levels that cannot be completed because progression is halted at key points. I have two examples: Chapter 19 and chapter 20 of the campaign both contain instances of gamebreaking bugs that were not present in the game of the original Uncharted 3 disc. Once Nathan is about to meet Salim in the abandoned desert village, Salim and his horse stop and gallop in one spot perpetually. I reloaded the checkpoint a dozen times, and even replayed the level completely and it still occurred. In chapter 20, all of the trucks explode chaotically when you just start to confront the convoy! I've tried this level over and over again and it replicates this bizarre result every time. I deleted my save file and started a new game, and guess what? I play chapter 2, "Small Beginnings", and the audio is abysmally out of sync, occasionally the dialogue of characters will subsequently be followed by a brief screeching noise, music and dialogue is delayed a few seconds later than it should be. Every last action that requires an NPC ally(opening a door in the chateau level or lowering the drawbridge in Syria) only correctly functions once I restart the latest game checkpoint. I've deleted every Uncharted 3 file on my hard drive, and it alters nothing. I intend to return this game sometime this week, but after extensive troubleshooting and intuitively contemplating leads me to believe a new copy will perform exactly the same. Right now I'm playing chapter 6 and I'm just waiting to encounter yet another bug that will degrade the game even further. I don't want to have to own two copies of the game just to have a unified experience that should have been included in the GOTY editon in the first place. Not to mention the fact that the game stutters momentarily in both the campaign and menus, when this happens it briefly freezes everything(music, framerate etc) I don't understand why I'm being punished for buying the complete version of a game I had already owned! I implore anyone who is interested in Uncharted 3's single player to obtain the original standard copy.
