Ok this game is so freaking awesome. Here is the plot ok you go you are to go down to this planet and find this guy named Kane. Well while you are still in space a missle hits your ship and your ship crashes into the planet below. You must find survivors and try to get off the planet while surviving dinos and bugs and Kanes men called the legendary Wolf Pack. That is all im going to say as for the plot. The online multiplayer is really fun. There are alot of noobs online though. Like you can be knifing and enemy and while you are one of your team mates can come up and shoot your kill and it counts as their kill. And there are a whole lot of noobs with rocket launchers and they kill you non stop. The best weapon for me is the shotgun and the pulse rifle. Ohh and the weapons all have secondary fire like the shotgun has a flare that can attract dinos and the pulse rifle can shoot grenades. So i would buy this game if you like to kill people in an awesome way so yeah go buy it!!!
Rated 10 out of 10 Sweet game!!!
Ok, 1 there really wasn't any challenges (except for bosses), 2, controls take a little getting used to, 3, graphics were the bomb, 4, interface was great, 5, responsiveness was pretty good, 6, sound was REALLY good(dinosaurs whining/roaring etc...), and last the storyline was awesome!!! But what stinks is you fight by yourself a lot, you fight with your squad like maybe 45 mins per chapter then you’re by yourself. But you get a bow to take out enemies from long-range quieter, a knife for close-range, and then 2 guns of your choice (that you have to pick up). The boss levels were actually fun, but the sea monster was hard to figure out because he is water and you have flamethrower. But the last level was pretty fun. You have to kill Wolf, leader of Wolfpack Squad, in a Helicopter with a RPG then have to knife-fight him, And THEN the T-Rex comes to eat you. And that level is HARD!!! AND HES FAST!!! You have to dodge a lot, but you do have a big variety of guns to kill it with. And big open space to hide from it. THIS IS A MUST BUY!!!

I rented this game and looked fun. when i started playing it is was hooked. graphics were awsome, sounds was scary. using the knife was cooler than the guns. the dinos were huge and scary, controls were simple and easy. beating the game..... WAS FRIKEN HARD!!!!!!! the games has alot of awsome stuff in but if you were planing on finnishing this game in a month you might want to think again. trinig to beat enmes were the toughest parts. the enimes are stronger and your weaker. after you keep dieing and coming back to a certain spot that was way back, you just want puy the control down and walk out pf the room. the diffucluties were normal, hard and inhumas. inhuman had to be unlock. but still the normal was still hard i didn't even get to finnish the game in time. if you like blood gore and awsome action, this is the game for you , if you don't like callenge and frusrtating moments, you might want to skip this game, but hey this my review.

When I played and completed Turok for the PS3, which was some time ago, I was certainly impressed with how fast the dinosaurs could attack you. Certain dinosaurs will run into you and send you flying. At other times, their size alone will make you run or hide for cover. I remember the graphics as being captivating and maintaining my interest in the game. Additionally, the size of the T-Rex in the game proved to be impressive and will keep your interest. For at various times in the game you will encounter the T-Rex, although its artificial Intelligence will prove to be less impressive. Regardless, it will make you panic when it quakes the ground beneath its feet. The antagonist in the story was human and rather boring. Moreover, the powerful and explosive weapons found in earlier Turok games seemed absent or less punishing in the PS3 version. In summary, Turok for the PS3 lacks the feeling of dino-killing and being a Native American warrior that is found in earlier Turok games while offering faster-paced enemies with, however, many of them being human.

This game is more of a fun game than a hard core game. So, if you like hard core games, I wouldn't 100% recommend it. The aiming systems are difficult to get used to. My advice is to download the game demo from xbox live or psn and play several times so you can get used to the aiming. The graphics are very good and realistic. The best part is watching a dino explode and see twitching body parts fly. The enemy soldiers are a fun distraction or is it the dinos? The storyline is immersive as turok faces having to kill his previous mentor. The next best thing is the melee action isn't hitting enemies with your gun, but you are using a knife! I haven't faced a t.rex yet but from various game videos I can't wait. Another cool thing is you can relate to the characters such as slade who is my favorite character. My only complaint is there isn't a coop, but it's still a fun game to watch your friend play.
Rated 4 out of 10 by TheAsylumite Amazing in an average way
I've been a fan of Turok for years and was waiting for the game to get released. When I popped it in I was rather excited as I ripped through the first few levels. Then it became very monotonous. Everything sort of looked the same, the dialogue wasn't very expansive (hearing the same lines over and over if you lose your way), the story started off as something compelling, but never finished, etc. Aesthetically, the game was impressive but everything else fell far short. In comparison to other games in a like vain, I would consider this to be average in all aspects with the exception of looks. The controls are standard FPS. The gameplay seemed to be full of holes and impossibilities. There are some great moments in this game; I'm not trying to bring caution to playing it. The T-Rex battle in the "dirt arena" was awesome. The stocky bomb gun was wicked. The execution style was freakin' great. However, when you keep doing the same things over and over it gets boring. I strongly believe that this is a game that most people would play and trade away. There is no replay value at all.

I had played but had not beat the game TUROK. POSITIVE: the graphics in this game are awesome. The weapons are cool. You have to be careful in the game because enemies especially dinosaurs will try to attack behind you, its easier to kill a dinosaur with a knife because if you use a gun then you'll just be wasting a lot of ammo & besides its hard to target a dinosaur with a gun especially RAPTORS. NEGATIVE: once you start going in dark places such as caves, for some reason you cant adjust the settings to make it look brighter so you could see especially when there are enemies, or someone that you need to follow, sometimes you will end up going in circles. STORY: You are playing Joseph Turok who was once a member of a WOLFPACK & now he was sent to the WHISKEY Company & they crashed landed on a planet filled with Prehistoric creatures & bad guys. This game is pretty cool!

I got this game in March 2008 and beat much much later cuz I was stuck in multiplayer land.In multiplayer its hard to play with 12,14,or 16 people cuz then it'll lag so bad its sucks to be you.The lags will either give you a disadvantage or increase your advantage to kill.Mostly it will give you a disadvantage espacilly if you want to knife someone. The storyline is great, but sometimes their is no large enough of cover and you die while healing so its not all great. Its even worse when you are hurt really bad and their is a mini-gun/chain-gun around. So its great pretty easy to get a few knifes if I was a game reporter I would give it a 9.5 out of 10. their are alot of dark places where I can't see a thing anywhere and their alot of raptors and dinos at a bad time and with the dinos it gets worse. So ahh I love it though so 9.5 out of 10.
Rated 8 out of 10 by LonewolfCRF Not like the other Turoks but still decent
I have been playing turoks since the first one was released on the Nintendo 64. The main thing that upsets me is how short this game was, the other turoks to a good amount of time to complete the game; but not this one, it could be done in a few hours if tried. Once you have beaten this game there isnt really anything else to do. The online multiplayer wasnt that great, and they could have made this game much funner by have it as a 2 player co-op game. and it honestly wouldnt have been hard for them to do. I am looking forward to having another turok release in the future, but they make it better than this one. Its still a must have for those who have played turoks for a great amount of time. this game was way to short once again and dont expect it to hold you over until your next game that you want is released.
