Tomb Raider & Uncharted
Hi Guys , who would'nt like this game , all of them are full of challenge and adventure ! a little silly at times which I can do w/o , but , all in all these games are made for gamers and only gamers ! besides that if you look close enough the excitement has produced a wet spot on those skin tight shorts and you can almost smell the natural juices while defying death at every turn !
great game, short ,finished in 5 days but it was a over all great game I would play it again .. kept me on edge and wanting more lol
BEST GAME I'VE PLAYED SINCE UNCHARTED
It's not too often i can honestly say a game deserves 10/10. Up until now, the Uncharted series was the only game/series i could honestly say i would give 10/10. When the first trailer for Tomb Raider came out, i knew i had to have this game! The old Tomb Raiders from PS1 were OK, and kinda corny. The more recent ones on PS3 and x-box 360 were better, and then this re-make came along! it is NON-STOP ACTION! Being an uncharted fan, Tomb Raider also makes very real characters that u really get atatched to. Lara is one of them. this game portrays her as a young 21 year-old girl who is looking for an ancient sun queen named Himiko. One of the people in Lara's crew is a descendant of this queen. They get stranded on this iland in the middle of the dragon's triangle and Lara, as well as the rest of her crew, have to literally "fight to survive." this is truly one of the best games i have played in awhile and i STRONGLY reccomend it. The story is great, and multiplayer is non-stop fun as well.
''A SURVIVOR IS BORN...''
A new and fresh start for the legendary archeologist Lara Croft.
The story focuses on Lara, as she and her crew are crashed in The Dragon's Triangle. At first she is scared, not knowing what waits here inland, but as the game progresses, she becomes a much more, brutal person.
The story is great, and so is the game play. Lara`s first weapon is a bow and arrows, as you progress through the game you gain weapons witch you can upgrade, only by salvaging. You can hunt animals, salvage, loot enemies, find map caches, relics and journals to gain experience. You can use experience to upgrade Lara`s skills, 3 tires of skills. The music in Tomb Raider is perfect, and so are the sound effects. When Lara climbs a wall she is tired and takes a little breath, that is a small feature but it adds up to the game so much. The graphics are almost near perfect. Tomb Raider is also open-world, it may look linear but it is more than that. When you pass the game which will take away 15-20 hours, you can explore the vast open-world. Tomb Raider features a multi player mode too, but it is not worth playing unless you want the trophies.
Without the multi player, 10/10, with the multi player 9.7/10.
I've been playing TR since 1997 and I've never, ever gotten sick of the series!! I started with TR II and have played every one since. There were hits and misses among a few of the games, but they were all still entertaining. And after Underworld, this is going to be a much needed boost in Lara's story and I really hope there's all sorts of new puzzles and innovative moves and such. Too bad we're in February!!
I'm not the biggest 3rd person games but...
I'm not the biggest 3rd person games but it's a great game, with fun gameplay and an emotional storyline. However, the gameplay is in contrast to earlier games, with action and gunfights taking priority over puzzles. In fact, the only time you ever raid a tomb (besides a grand total of once in the main story) is in the optional side tombs, which hold treasure maps behind puzzles so simple a child could figure them out.
Still, while the puzzles are disappointing, the action is top notch. The game adopts a shooter style similar to Naughty Dog's Uncharted series, and nothing is more exciting than dodging bullets while picking off bad guys with your bow. It's really fun.
Overall, a fantastic game; definitely worth getting.
One really amazing game.
This game is really good but I gotta warn you this game is pretty difficult even while playing on easy mode if you love games with great story modes this is the game for you.
Tomb Raider Reloaded
This game is way better, then any other Tomb Raider by far. Way better graphics, gameplay, and the story is great. I like how they put you as a innocent, not well trained Lara & make you become the Lara we all know & Love.
The core gameplay is kinda similar to Uncharted Franchise. But, has it's own uniqueness as well. Tomb Raider didn't copy Uncharted by no means, but it's the best way to describe the feel of the game. This is a must have for Hardcore fans or the casual gamer. Great Story, hours of entertainment (15 hours to complete Campaign), and killer graphics.
The Co-op/ multiplayer mode falls flat. Much like Uncharted in my Opinion. Kinda pointless & needs to be redone completely.
Only part I found to be odd was when Lara kills for the first time, she goes into freak-out mode to being a Slayer in 2 Seconds lol. And carrying a tourch in a down pour, tropical rain doesn't extinguish your flame, but a river or waterfall does. Other then that, sweet game
Tomb Raider has made the leap to the next level.
As someone that has played every Tomb Raider game as they were released since the mid 1990s, it gets harder and harder to improve on such a popular franchise even as technology improves. That being said, Tomb Raider for the PS3 is probably the best game in the franchise since the late 1990s and absolutely the best one on the next gen systems. Gameplay, puzzle solving, and story are the cornerstones of a successful Tomb Raider game and this installment has them all to go along with superior graphics and ease of controls. This is not an easy game, but at the same time there are plenty of maps and on screen hints that make gameplay enjoyable. Sorry, but I hate buying a $60 game and then NEED to by a $25 strategy guide!! This game delivers on that end without sacrificing exploration and difficulty. One HUGE problem I had with the recent Resident Evil 6 is the ridiculous lack of ammo to be found in order to defeat the amount of enemies you face. Tomb Raider gives gamers the opportunity to pick up the ammo you need in different ways (upgrades) as to not have you pulling your hair out because you don't have the tools to move forward in your game. This new Tomb Raider game brings Lara Croft into the 21st Century and has laid the groundwork as well as raising the bar for future installments to live up to. Tomb Raider as a franchise is back.
