Easy Platinum
I'm not really good at platforming and driving but I had no problem doing it in this game. Very Easy Platinum. If you're looking for Uncharted...you may be disappointed...not a lot of enemies (human) to shoot at...although you do have the platforming and treasue hunting. Overall...a pretty good game.

A disappointment
Let me start off by saying that i am a BIG and loyal tomb raider franchise fan. I've played every single part of it including the small fillings in between ( unfinished business, fold, last revelation, last artifact etc ) and in my opinion this Tomb Raider's probably the EASIEST one of them and was so straight forward with a weak story. I was expecting much more but unfortunately was let down this time. Let's hope the next one will make it up to me.

not what i expected.
this game was not a winner. When i picked it up at gamestop, I thought it would be like uncharted, so i got it. it is NOTHING like uncharted. it is really hard. i am trading this game in soon. i like sratagy games, but this was just dumb.

Tomb Raider Entombed
First off, I love the Lara Croft Tomb Raider games. However, Tomb Raider is tired and should no longer be made. Like a wrestler who continues to wrestle long after their time (i.e. Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, John Cena heheh) Eidos should pack it in. Uncharted is a MUCH better play, much better storyline, and much better at figuring things out with the help of a hint whenever you get stuck, which is very rare. Tomb Raider Underworld on the other hand is like "Well, here you are in this rain forest area with a huge pagan statue in the distance. Figure out what to do, you are on your own" Don't get me wrong, I love games that make you figure things out, but adding a million tigers and a billion lizards, all extremely fast and coming at you from all directions and all you have are two pistols and a machine gun and a few grenades (which are useless against the creatures because they are constantly moving and attacking you from all sides to even think about using them) Eidos decided pretty much to make this the most difficult game to play by making the puzzles way too hard to figure out at times. I am stuck in an area that I just can't seem to get out of and the game offers no help whatsoever. Just a recorded "hint" from Lara saying what she needs to do, but not giving you any idea on how to do it.For me, I will stick with the Uncharted series. It is far more superior and this "wrestler" seriously needs to retire.

Tomb Raider the way it should be.
This is, in my opinion, the best TR game to date. It's clear that Crystal Dynamics has a vision of Lara Croft as something far greater than her previous designers. First off, the gameplay and controls are very solid. The platforming is challenging, but not nearly as ridiculous as past titles. I only got frustrated at one small section in the game. Overall, I was very pleased with this improvement. The camera was sometimes shaky, but never at any crucial point. Perhaps my favorite part of the game was the story. The narrative is good, although Lara spends most of her time alone exploring ancient sites. What i was impressed with was how well CD wove mythology (Norse is the main focus) with the story. Lara seems much more like an intelligent archaeologist than she has before. I'm really glad I decided to try this game, and I'm now very excited about the future of Lara Croft. Finally, it seems that she's in capable hands.

Best one yet!!!
I think this game is great, the graphics are amazingly done, aswell as the controls and challenge. You fight tigers, sharks, zombies, black panthers, spiders, humans, and much, much more. You play in the Thialand jungle, two different oceans, the arctic, croft manor, mexico, enemy boats and many tombs. Some puzzles are hidden puzzle pieces to open a door or matching symbols with each other. Some tomb traps you face are flamethrowers, giant crushers, blue lava in the underworld, swinging blades and much more. There's lots of free gameplay, unlike the other tomb raider games, after you complete the game you can free roam in any place you've played through. Weapons and gadgets you use are: Pistols, shotgun, machine gun, grenades, flashlights, health packs, tranqulizer gun, spear gun, video camera to film and thor's hammer. Overall most people love this game a lot, never go against eidos.

worst adventure game ive played
okay first the game had alot of great challenges. thats about all there is good to this game.the camera almost all the time got me killed. the controls were alright but they werent the best either.the graphics looked like something that came out of a nice ps2 game. storyline made no sense what so ever. people who say this is a great game need to get a life. im sorry but im very disappointed in the game. this game is not even worth renting. they should have never came out with this game. it was a waste of my time and a waste of my money. and i used to be a fan of the series but now its just disappointing. if i could go back in time i would have stop myself from getting this. this game doesnt even deserve the right to be called a decent game.

Great Way to Get Back Into the Series
I loved this game! I haven't played Tomb Raider in years, and I rented this one and was blown away! So much so, that I'm buying previous games and loving that "I remember this!" feeling. The graphics were absolutely beautiful (as is Lara's new look) and a lot of the time I would catch Lara standing in the middle of peril doing nothing because I was looking around at the scenery. I also love Natla's reinvention, Anniversary!Natla was just frightening. (I suppose that was the point, though.) I did have an issue with the length of the game; it could have been much longer, and I am sluggishly slow when it comes to beating games. There were also some glitches; an example being in Croft Manor when jumping down after pulling the door with the grappling hook, and Lara continues to walk against the block, so that I have to pause her for a few seconds and then turn her around. I could go on and on about Underworld, but I won't, so let me just say that it was a wonderful way to get back into the series, and I was impressed. I can't wait for the next installment!

The best TR since the first one
In my opinion, this is the best Tomb Raider game since the very first one on PS1. The graphics are really nice looking. The sound and level design are amazing. Sometimes you have to fight with the camera but it's such a good game it can be overlooked. I'm not one to play games constantly, therefore I would say the game is plenty long for your money. Just don't race through it... take your time and explore every little area for hidden treasure and enjoy the level disign. I've had it for about a week and I'm only on the second area ( in the Thailand jungles). Iv'e seen discussions on TR or Uncharted on wich is the better game. For me, it's definately TR. One reason is the lock on ability. Uncharted does'nt have that I don't think. It's been a while since I've played that one. Also TR Underworld is a game you can come back to after you've beaten it. I've always liked Lara Croft and she keeps looking better in every game. I reccomend this to any action adventure fan. And she's back finally to raid tombs again, no cities or dance clubs, and also no time attack button presses, which ruind Anniversary. Tomb Raider Underworld - 10/10
