This game was actually really fun and one of the first that allowed you to play exclusively with voice controls. The storyline wasn't too original, but I didn't care much as I was too busy rolling my Russian tanks over the terrain and wiping out squads of infantry while my attack choppers picked off any well defended units. The gameplay could get a little frustrating sometimes, especially if you were playing by voice controls because, while it is pretty good at picking up orders, sometimes they would fall through at crucial moments and the resulting casualties would tick me off. Graphics were decent for this genre, as was the sound. It didn't hold much lasting appeal for me because I could only play the AI so many times before I grew tired of it. I went online a few times but I am terrible at online RTS so that got old just as quickly. Overall, a great game if you like RTS, but not if you are expecting to have a base. The coolest part, in my opinion, is the upgradeable units because you can customize each unit to fit certain tasks or just be unstoppable.

This game is absolutely amazing. I think it is taking a huge step in RTS games. Ubisoft did a great job with this game. I love all the factions (especially Spetsnaz) and the units. I also love how you can customize your units. The best part of this game has to be the voice command. This is the first time that a game has had voice command. I got the bundle with the bluetooth headset and they work perfect together. The voice command is so easy and convenient. The only thing that would make this game better is if you didn't need a controller at all. I have liked all Tom Clancy games, but this one tops them all. The online play (Theater Of War) is really cool, some battles go on for hours and at the end of the day nothing stays the same. I would recommend this game to any RTS fan. Kudos to Ubisoft and I hope there will be an END WAR 2!

I picked it up today after school. I started to play it and was amazed on how it was set up. The controls were easy to get used to for me. I like the setup for the headset. I just got the official headset with socom and it worked great with Endwar. I was stunned how you can use your voice. It was awesome. Its easy to say things but you have to get used to it. I actually played a multi-player with my friend. It was pretty cool. You can play with up to 4 people. 2v2 or 1v1. But if you don't know the basics, your going to get killed online. The storyline was pretty basic, WW 3 with 3 factions, Russia, America, Europe. I prefer America but there all equally good in there special areas. There were some graphical issues but they weren't big. I totally recommend this to everyone. This game is an amazing step towards console RTS's.

The game has excellent multiplayer capabilities, and my favorite is the "Global World War," where your battles contribute to the whole online battleground, and everyone is affected by your decisions and your wins/losses. One thing that I think could be worked on (just a little) is the sounds. The music is a bit repetitive, so I usually end up listening to my iPod out of one ear, and having my Bluetooth in the other, giving commands. Another thing about the sounds is that every time I switch from unit to unit, that unit always says something like this: "This is [NAME OF UNIT], all systems running smoothly." That gets annoying really quickly, but in intense situations, you hardly notice it at all, so it's just a minor thing. The game is a really great game overall, but if you tweak it just a little, it'll be perfect.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Cwebb Most lifelike game ever
The most realistic game ever. Theater of War is the BEST ONLINE FOR ANY GAME. The best feature is that you can play in a match that actually matters. The story mode could have been a lot better and harder. You can beat the campaign mode a couple of hours, even with the long games. Skirmish is a really unused game-type but needed for offline players. And in case your wondering, all factions are set equally, with all of them having their pros and cons. A better customization feature would be the ability to actually let you decide what you want your units to look like, not just a few preset schemes, which you can only decide of 3 between all the schemes. The graphics are JUST PLAIN AWESOME. They are way underrated. I can't wait to see a Endwar 2 in which it gets lots of DLC and community support, unlike the first.

This is a very fun game to play for stratigic gamers. The pre-owned price should be more because this game is very fun. There are two ways to play, one is with a wired/wireless headset to shout commands to your army of choice (you can choose between the JSF (Joint Strike Force/USA), Russian Military, and European Military) and you can use the PS3 controller to move the units arounds. The game is set during World War 3 and thats the main plot, your army trying to take control of the world. The battlesfields will probably be the same in some areas but places like D.C., Moscow, and Paris will have their own unique map. Some points in the battle will gain you (or the enemy) access to a WMD to turn the tides of battle. Even when the enemy activates theirs, you will be able to use yours afterwards.

This game has got to be one of the simplest, yet action-packed RTS I've ever seen for PS3. You're given a line of units starting from Basic Riflemen to Booming Artillery, each one upgradable as you play the game. Though, resourceful players might not appreciate the game as much, those of us who get a kick out of spamming the enemy with Tanks, tanks, and more tanks with a pinch of Helo support, this game is great fun. Though you don't NEED a headset to play this game, it is definently helpful, otherwise I hope you have great dexterity, cause you'll be on the R2 and L2 button and D-Pad like flies on a corpse.
Overall; stunning game. Super-death rays, vaccume bombs, flame-throwing tanks and chemical-spewing artillery make this game incredible fun. Just don't forget the tanks!

First of all i'll start off with the challenge, which has many modes, but if you select difficult, it will be in fact hard. Graphics are ok a little to bright though for my liking. The story is very stupid! all you do is kill a bunch of people that mean nothing at all. The controls are typical shooting controls, they added a new feature with that, but i don't want to give any spoilers out. This is what made me impressed most, the sound is amazing! theres no other game out there with these kinds of sound. the gun fire sounds sooooo realistic! I thought i was actually in combat. So if you have edit dollars for this game, get it! It may not be the best game out for the ps3, but just check out the sound! But if you a big fan of the story line, maybe rent it before you buy it!

This game is awsome. The graphics are great as is the sound. The controls are easy as is the voice command. However, you have to be in a quiet room otherwise it wont be able to understand your commands. The story line could be ALOT longer, I beat it in a couple of hours, but it is a good storyline. I would also recomend not to play "Theater of War" until you have at least beat the game. Also, you do not need a headset to play this game.I would strongly recomend buying one though. In my opinion, the voice command makes half the game. Upsides: Great Graphics, Voice command,Storyline Downsides: Misunderstanding voice commands, Short story line This is a great game and I would definatly recomend to anybody who like strategy and shooting. Also it says that it is a ten, but I would say it is a nine.
Rated 0 out of 10 by eddie rivera Anyone who has a ps3 shouldnt buy this game
this is gonna be a online game, and everyone knows that ubisoft does not care about how good the online works for the ps3. They are passionate for the xbox 360, and im sure the oline for the 360 will work fine. My experiances with Any Tom Clancy game on the ps3 has shown me that Ubisoft actually could care less if it worked on the ps3 or not. I bought Rainbow Six Vegas part 2 and its online is completely broken, not even playable,, and to think that they stamped the Tom Clancy name on it. It was criminal what they gave to us, and that was a non working game. Even the single player lagged at times. And thats not even online. Trust me, dont buy anything that has the Tom Clancy logo on it for the ps3. Ubi bought the name just for the name, not the quality of the games they put it on.
