Product Details:

Introducing Tom Clancy's EndWar, the first new Clancy I.P. since the highly acclaimed Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell launched in 2002. EndWar will bring World War III to life in a way only Clancy can.

  • Strategy for the next generation: Led by creative director Michael de Plater (Rome Total War), EndWar will redefine strategy gaming. Designed exclusively for next-gen consoles EndWar will create a theatre of war, immersing you in the drama of World War III in a way you never thought possible.
  • Fight For Your Nation: Pick a side US, Europe, Russia - the fate of the world is in your hands. If you don't step in to save your homeland, who will?
  • Command Your Army: Grow your army into the most powerful force on the planet. Your army is completely customizable, and experience breeds strength - your units grow more powerful with every campaign you fight.
  • Light Up The City of Lights: Tom Clancy's World War III won't be won by capturing remote deserts or grasslands but by striking countries in the heart. Paris, Moscow, Washington D.C. will all erupt in flames as you battle your way through the fully destructive playground.
  • A Whole New Kind of Massive: EndWar will be an online multiplayer experience unlike anything you've ever encountered. 16 player matchups? Try hundreds. 30 minute battles? Try persistent matchups lasting for months at a time. This isn't a skirmish, it's World War III.
  • Talk Your Way to Victory: Put the controller aside and start shouting commands. EndWar can be played almost entirely via voice command.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Ultimate War Game! The Ultimate War game! I can't wait for Endwar Part II. Nothing like Deep Striking your opponent Online with your artillery while sending in the Tanks. Not to mention the WMD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome all i got to say is that this game is great because of the units at your disposal and the different types of WMD's and the story line is great and the gameplay is amazing and the only thing that should change is the camera angles but besides that, this is one of the greatest strategy games that came out of E3 in 2008

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Average Game This is a very fun game to play for stratigic gamers. The pre-owned price should be more because this game is very fun. There are two ways to play, one is with a wired/wireless headset to shout commands to your army of choice (you can choose between the JSF (Joint Strike Force/USA), Russian Military, and European Military) and you can use the PS3 controller to move the units arounds. The game is set during World War 3 and thats the main plot, your army trying to take control of the world. The battlesfields will probably be the same in some areas but places like D.C., Moscow, and Paris will have their own unique map. Some points in the battle will gain you (or the enemy) access to a WMD to turn the tides of battle. Even when the enemy activates theirs, you will be able to use yours afterwards.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Strategy Game Ever Tom Clancy End War was the first RTS that uses voice commands and/or game controls to play the game. Play online in a persistant World War as one of three factions: JSF; Euro; and Russia.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not fun by any means! This game isn't fun at all, you're pretty much spitting commands through your headset and watching your units getting smashed. No fun whatsoever! This isn't Tom Clancy's finest I'll say.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Panzers, Marsch! This game has got to be one of the simplest, yet action-packed RTS I've ever seen for PS3. You're given a line of units starting from Basic Riflemen to Booming Artillery, each one upgradable as you play the game. Though, resourceful players might not appreciate the game as much, those of us who get a kick out of spamming the enemy with Tanks, tanks, and more tanks with a pinch of Helo support, this game is great fun. Though you don't NEED a headset to play this game, it is definently helpful, otherwise I hope you have great dexterity, cause you'll be on the R2 and L2 button and D-Pad like flies on a corpse. Overall; stunning game. Super-death rays, vaccume bombs, flame-throwing tanks and chemical-spewing artillery make this game incredible fun. Just don't forget the tanks!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from i hate endwar its the lame'est game in the world. this game sucks, all it is , is talking to the game, who would want to TALK to the tv? this game is horrible and lame its a waste of money and should be given away for free.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I Really Enjoyed This Game This game was actually really fun and one of the first that allowed you to play exclusively with voice controls. The storyline wasn't too original, but I didn't care much as I was too busy rolling my Russian tanks over the terrain and wiping out squads of infantry while my attack choppers picked off any well defended units. The gameplay could get a little frustrating sometimes, especially if you were playing by voice controls because, while it is pretty good at picking up orders, sometimes they would fall through at crucial moments and the resulting casualties would tick me off. Graphics were decent for this genre, as was the sound. It didn't hold much lasting appeal for me because I could only play the AI so many times before I grew tired of it. I went online a few times but I am terrible at online RTS so that got old just as quickly. Overall, a great game if you like RTS, but not if you are expecting to have a base. The coolest part, in my opinion, is the upgradeable units because you can customize each unit to fit certain tasks or just be unstoppable.
