Tom Clancy's End War - with Headset Bundle
good but .....eh....
I had been looking forward to this game ever since it was announced. A rts game with almost all voice commands and little to do with the controller seemed very "next gen" and i couldn't wait to embrace the trend. The headset works pretty well unless you mumble or ramble in which case this game isn't for you. The a.i. in the game is okay but i would have preferred more of a challenge. I loved the deviation from the same old rts in the fact that you don't build bases you simply call in for support. I was in the army and i don't recall ever building bases on the front lines out of nowhere and mass producing new troops. The game length was fine but the story really lacked in intrigue and real punch to the plot. The graphics on this game are great but it's tom clancy affiliated and that speaks for itself. It was an overall good experience and pretty cheap considering the headset by itself is ** bucks. This game just didn't quite live up to the hype. Almost but not quite on where it could've.
The best strategy game ever !!!
I've just got this game and from the box with the headset I was already amazed, because in other games that are compatible with any headset we had to buy the game and the headset separately, but not on Tom Clancy's End War - with Headset Bundle. The graphics are excellent, even through we only see from the top, and the design of the tanks, gunships, etc., are also amazing. The game is also very challenging except the first part , which is pretty easy, but the rest is kinda hard, but I'm saying this only by myself. The sound is pretty realistic since you can hear the gunships moving from one part to another, the tanks shooting, the engineers and rifleman running, and everything falling apart. The best of all is that everything in the scenario is destructible, even the Eiffel Tower on the stage of Paris, the White House in Washington, DC, etc. In summary, Tom Clancy's End War - with Headset Bundle is a must-have for your collection if you like strategy game.
c&c 3 meets socom, republic commando
This game has been on my radar since I heard about it from the interwebs. I have watched the trailers and looked at the screen shots, looks great. You basically control the whole battlefield, which ever side you are on, very interesting? Never played a game like this. The only problem I can see, is that the voice over ip or single player, might have problems/glitches. The graphics and gameplay, as far as I can tell are rock solid. Can't wait to see the final build!
RTS to the next level
Just got this game with the headset bundle and the game is awesome. The headset bundle works very well, haven't had and technical difficulties but watch out with getting to carried away with the voice command. I started saying so many orders that the interface couldn't understand. But he, get this game, it is truly next gen. The story could have been harder and the AI could have been a little more challenging. Overall, get this game if you like RTS games. Compared to World in Conflict it has pros and cons. I prefer WICs idea of buying units during the game but EW has a greater idea of upgrading units. Also the WIC tactical aid is amazing while EW has few options in this category. Try this game out, I really like it and you won't be disappointed.
