Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge Improvement This is the 3rd tales game I have ever played and it is has a huge improvement in the game play. The other tales games i played are vesperia and graces f. When i played xillia I noticed that some controls are taken from it. Now let me explain the game play. You can play up to four players (i personally only played with my brother) and there are six characters to choose from as you progress through the game. At times you may lost some characters due to story driven events. What i like about xillia is they added this thing called linking and you can link with another character to unleash amazing moves. I personally like using Millia and Leia, use 2 of her link artes, then switch to Alvin and use one of his link artes, then switch to Jude and use one of his link artes, and finish with a mystic arte. Tales of xillia is pretty easy compared to the other tales games and there are a lot more monsters on the field. I found myself fighting every single monster I saw due to the fact of how fun the game play is. In the previous tales games i always skipped monsters. I also liked how they added a map so you can tell where you're going and you can also fast travel. They changed the shops so now you have to gather materials to level it up but that just made it more fun. They also changed it so you have a skill tree instead of titles. Titles are now used for grade points. I overall give this a game a 10/10 just because of how fun it frees compared to the previous tales. I personally hate how it's only on ps3 because i literally hate my ps3, it always makes noises when i play on a disc and the controller. Also you can't play music on the ps3 when you're playing a game.
