"Everyone teases me for being a do-gooding honors student, and maybe they're right. I just can't let things like this go." A young teen who has ventured away from his hometown to become a medical intern at the capital. For better or worse, he has a tendency to involve himself with other people's problems. As a result, he gets wrapped up in an epic journey far beyond his control. Generally, he is a quiet, book-smart individual that doesn't like physical violence. However, he possesses highly competent melee fighting capabilities that greatly help his allies in combat. He looks up to Milla for her strength and conviction. These are traits he feels he lacks, and so he travels with her to learn from her ways.

"Fretting over it won't strengthen your resolve. Only willpower alone can do that." A mysterious woman who is accompanied by the Four Great Spirits of Earth, Wind, Fire, and Water. She is bound by her strong sense of responsibility and duty as Maxwell, the Lord of Spirits. She will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. Though she is incredibly wise beyond her years, her lack of societal interaction has left her void of basic societal etiquette. Even the most trivial idiosyncrasies and customs of man are of great interest to her. Through her travels with Jude, she slowly gains a greater understanding of humanity and their emotions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite PS3 RPG Thus Far With a solid, interesting storyline, likable characters, great graphic appeal, and exciting gameplay, Tales of Xillia quickly became an all-time favorite of mine. Also, Tales of Xillia II was equally if not more exceptional than the original. Highly recommend for any RPG lover looking for a strong balance between interesting story and engaging gameplay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this game is for all gamers This game was amazing it had everything a gamer looks for, it had hardcore fighting, and the story line kept on track, no skips and no cuts either, oh and I can't forget the romantic parts to they really show how they feel. This will be one of my favorite games to pay because it has two main story lines, most likely one but you will see what I mean. I rate this for all gamers to play this game or give it a try. Now on to number 2. see ya later

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A top class JRPG The "Tales" series never ceases to amuse me, I'm a huge tales of fan and every one of their games give me hours of endless fun. In Tales of Xillia's case, The story is fantastic, I won't give away anything for sake of spoilers, but trust me on this. You'll love the combat system if you like fast-paced strategy filled fights. The game is visually amazing as well, it's not cutting edge or anything, but it does look beautiful in it's style. Don't take this all from me though, my brother isn't even into JRPG's and I let him play, he loved it. Also, up to 4 players can play at once, adding even more fun, if you want to have a friend join in. In summary, Tales of Xillia is a great game, almost anyone will enjoy this. ...Unless you're one of those "Only Call of Duty" players, in which case, get back to your shooting games.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Tales Of Xillia Info I Never Play A tales games it's my first time playing the game and I just finish it's RPG Role Playing Game It's long but fun to leveling up your characters and there hidden items in the game some the items could be Gal,Wearing Items like funny glasses any many more. Story I'm not going spoiled the game I'm just going to tell what is about in Tales Of Xillia You can choice one of the two characters Jude Or Milla Jude is student he wanted learn and become a doctor Milla has the great four spirits earth, fire, water, wind but won't have them that long in the game were milla have to rely on her self I know more about milla then jude because I pick Milla Leveling Up The More you Leveling up your characters the stronger they become for instance Leia revive one character at a time the you upgrade her she can Revive two characters at once I was like Level 40 or 45 but don't need to worry there a 2 healers characters in the game so you won't have any trouble. You also get a total of 6 characters in your group Game play Most people will said it very repetitive I said a little bit but once you get hang of the game I think it pretty fun There a lot extra side missions Example Someone need you deliver a letter, packages someone needs a sirtend item in this game there something called linking were you link one character to other character and they can combine they attack together to be come even more powerful wait there more you charge the meter you can do a link can you can do multiplication attacks Graphics Graphics has a anime touch and looks beautiful There some animated scenes was very well done 8.7 Voice Acting I'm very surprise by the voice acting was great I love the music was so loud I cannot hear the voice acting at less sub was on then I won't have a clue what was going beside that I have some Pictures share but less it some thing I hope it review help you the more likes on this review get I'll do more review just like these thanks for reading n.nv

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good info about this game So this was the first time I played a "tales of..." game and it's been a pretty good experience. It kind of plays like Star Ocean: Til the end of time (my all time favorite game) I will say though there were some elements of the game that were a drawback in my opinion. Whether or not it's because it's my first tales game may make a difference. PROS: Real time battle- none of that annoying taking turns. Ability to swap out characters during battle- I used this more than I originally thought I would; very helpful. Costumes- Between the DLC and obtaining/finding clothing accessories, it makes your characters feel/look unique. Even during cut scenes (Excluding skits), the clothing worn will be shown. Nice touch! CONS: Graphics- Look like PS2, but you eventually get used to it. Controls- Not as smooth and easy flowing as other rpg's I've played but you also get used to it. General Gameplay- The in game menu has a battle book for referencing everything battle related. I had to consult this a ridiculous amount of times. (There is A LOT of material in the battle book) Storyline- While I followed it, I could never be able to fully explain it. That's mostly due to all the jargon that makes your head hurt. Overall it was a solid game and I look forward to Tales of Xillia 2.
