this a a awesome spider-man game but here is all ways a catch whenit comes to games with the black suit this one is the combat is too easy i mean my sisters kid can beat in a day easy but let me stay focus the story is alright for spidy fan like my self but i epxected some thing like a Maximum Carnage remake or some thing but wat i got was beter than that but it could have more symbiote characters such as toxin, anti-venom,Scream,Hybrid, The Life Foundation symbiotes, and more. But this is just good now spoiler alert but the caych is based on how u save black cat after get rid of the symbiote that controls her thats it u can do all the badd missions or vis versa but it all depends on that the ending does'nt change wheter or not u save venom. But either way it's still werth a look because the wii, ps2,and psp versions have multipule costumes for spidey to use but word of adive the the ps2 and psp versions have difrent characters and a kinda diffrent story line but they r still good

Spider-Man Web of Shadows on the PS3 is definetly the best yet, although it is pretty short. It took me a few months to beat it the first time and right away I played it again. The second time had a differant ending where the city was safe, however the first time I beat it the city was infested with symbiotes and symbiote Wolverine was after Spidey. I hope they make a sequel although it could be hard since you got to choose how you wanted the game to end like. The challenge was good and so was the originallity. I loved how they made almost all the villians turn into a symbiote form although the Wolverine was pretty hard and I nearly broke a controller getting so frustrated over the game. I also played the game a third time, too and after that I got pretty sick of Web of Shadows so I went to gamestop and bought Spider-Man 3 which is way better than the PS2 and Wii version, by the way. Anyway, I would definetly reccomend this game to a Spidey fan and even someone who isn't a fan.

OMG this game is AWESOME. The launch trailer (be sure to see it if you haven't yet) is so great it draws you into the game. The combat system is better than ever. I had never had so much fun chaining different attacks. The sound is good but Spidey's voice sounds terrible. He sounds like a 6 year old. The graphics are lovely . The symboite types on buildings look cool and costumes are very colorful. I think this is the best spidey suit design. Gameplay is enjoyable but sometimes it can be repetitive fighting and web striking guys over and over. The boss battles are epic. It is absolute fun to pull of your special attacks on the bosses. The game is so great that the whole game feels like if you're creating a Spiderman movie. Choosing your own path, switching between different suit's deciding which villains to fight, its like the world of spiderman is yours. Sometimes it is difficult choosing paths because you don't want to mess up your story. So if you haven't pick this game up, please pick it up. You won't be disappointed.

This sounds like the game I have been waiting for, your actions are the outcome, you are not forced to go one way, you can do whatever you want, when you want. Now that is a game! The ability to fight as spiderman, while sticking to the wall is a huge bonus. What a great idea? Also the ability to team up with hero or villain, now that's what I'm talking about. This is the type of game that never gets boring, because what you choose to do is the way the game goes. Well the makers of this game have my money for sure, I am a big fan a the 60's-90's spiderman and the last game wasn't too bad at all, just wish you could destroy cars, and fight people, and have different outcomes, but this game sounds like it will fix all that. Far as the new spiderman on the screen, (not too thrilled on the movies of the actors they chose, very disappointing). But what can you do, least we got to see him on the big screen and now the fans get an even better game!

This game was really good exept for the ending. the whole game had really good gameplay, lot of bosses. And you want to do the optional missions because you want the exp points so you can upgrade your black or red suit. It was a great idea to let the player switch between black and red suit anytime they felt like it. Its really cool that they let you choose what side your on (evil or good), but they made it too sensitive, like you could have full red (good), but if you do one bad thing your 100% good becomes 60% good. sometimes when spiderman was talking his voice sounded kind of childish and scratchy. The reason the ending is disapointing is because you play the game, and the game is long, its like 17 hours long, at the end of the game you finally have all your power and then once you beat the game its over, like theres no free roam or anything. Every single other spiderman game Ive played had free roam. Overall it was pretty good

This game is awesome! Venom was a great choice as the main antagonist of this game. He looks brutal, as if he's in front of you as he tries to consume you. It's pretty cool how they start in the future, then back up to show how it began. Web-slinging makes you feel like the man behind the mask. As Spidey often says," He floats through the air with the greatest of ease." I love the combat system! You jump from bad guy to bad guy, kicking major butt! The enemies look great, with one type looking like Anti-Venom. It would have been cool to add Toxin to the game as an ally against the symbiote invasion. The S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are a good addition, as they can be a big help in a jam. Throwing cars is a hell of a lot of fun. Fighting Wolverine is pretty cool. I love the addition of choosing one of 2 paths, the red suit or black suit. Switching suits on the fly is very helpful, red suit based on agility and webs, while the black suit is powerful and more destructive. Web of Shadows is definitely a step in the right direction for the Spider-Man franchise.

Imagine if you will the sheer pleasure of a sudden drop. Describe the ultimate rush of catching yourself from a deadly fall as you narrowly avoid becoming intimate with the New York pavement. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows has delivered. I was skeptical in the beginning. The graphics were less than I expected. The voice acting was a little off. However, I have put in the hours and I am not disappointed. The gameplay is amazing. I can spend hours upon hours fighting the baddies. The sheer brilliance of the movements and attacks are enough to captivate the manipulator of the controller. Without giving too much away...after the city "changes" the real fun begins. The fighting definitely speeds up and the story becomes surreal. As Spider-Man says in the beginning, (not verbatim, I don't think) "What has happened to my city?" Prepare for the answer. It will blow you away!

I just got the game today and i must say the graphics are great and the new combos are amazing and sick. The story line seems pretty creepy at times but is great. Also i like the way it just starts the story line in the future which at first leaves you confused, but slowly goes back into the past to explain how it began. Venom was also made great in the game with perfect graphics on him you can really see his costume coming off of him, not much to say that he is hard to beat. Unlike in spider 3-the game he was much easier to beat in this one, but i dont know if i'll be fighting him again later on. If so, i hope for much better of a fight. Training with Cage is a little hard sometimes, especially when he tries to teach you how to web strike from enemy to enemy. But it is a great game and i can't wait to see what lies ahead; also can't wait to run into wolverine.

Spider-man:Web of Shadow is a slightly above average game. You usually get stuck in a few hard levels in your average game, but in this game I don't remember a time when I couldn't beat a level.

This game was awesome. It was very long. I was surprised at how long it was because it took a while to beat. The length is great, the graphics are great, and challenge was good. The swinging was realistic. One of the coolest things to do was to change suits whenever you wanted. (red and black) My favorite part was that you could choose paths between good and bad. The overall path was decided by how much points you get. (red and black points) You can get black points by blowing up cars and letting people die. (like when they have to be taken to the hospital) The combat was great. You could get all these cool moves. No matter where you were the combat was great. (the wall, the air, and the ground) I think this would be a good game for anybody who likes fighting games. I love doing the little missions. This game was awesome.
