It wat a really good game.Awesome graphics,ok sound, and good gameplay.I would recommend this game!!!!
Awesome game for spider-man
I hated Spider-Man before I played the game but soon fell in love. All three movies sucked in my opinion. Who would honestly put Toby MacGuire as a superhero. I was completely surprised when I played the game though. The gameplay of this game is intense. You face every villain that there is and also have to face gangs. The graphics aren't the best but they are so similar to the videos that it keeps you on your toes at all times. There are about thirty activities that you can do which are a bit weird but gives you a break from any aggravating missions. My favorite part of the game though is just swinging around the whole city. I recommend this game if you are in to the whole superhero thing (even if you don't like Spider-man) and it's not going to do that much damage on your wallet. If only they could make a Superman video game this good.
All though many people b haten on spiderman 3 well the game gets boring easily its the same thing ovr and ovr but just swinging around enjoying the view is fun and the last mission is fun so give it a chance.
This is a great Spiderman game. I really like how they altered the story with more villains and had a cool never ending crime feature. I absolutely loved the power of the black suit which makes you feel like an unstoppable tank. Another thing I liked was how big the open world is with tall buildings to swing from and varied districts. There were a few problems though, some areas of the city can get a bit laggy but is dose not ruin the experience and Toby's voice acting is terrible but other than that it was a very cool and enjoyable experience.
Fun but short
-The game looks great and especially when your webslinging through NY at night time.
-They've added a God of War kick to it. You're now involved in the cinematic action scenes. I think i'm about half way through and the extra moves that can be unlocked is kinda cool.
-You can now walk inside some buildings for certain missions.
-Added different missions
( disarming bombs, taking pictures, taking MJ for web slinging field trip )
-Even though the game looks great, there are alot of graphic bugs.
( alot of seaming and clipping )
( Characters getting pushed into walls, enemies get stuck )
-A.I. needs help.
(enemies will run away.. are simply just stare at you)
-I wish they would've implented a good soundtrack.
-Not sure about this complaint of mine, but i wish or hope.. that i'll be able to play a villian when i beat the game. I heard you can play the goblin... but.. i'd rather play sandman or venom.
Overall, its a good game. If your a spidey fan, its a great game. it's always fun to swing around the city.
Best Open world Spider-man game yet!
This game is so far the BEST open world Spider-Man game to date! I love the graphics and the best part is Doning the FAMOUS BLACK SUIT! the graphics for pedestrians are scary especially when i use the camera to take pics and they seem like they are staring into your soul..but otherwise great graphics!! better than Spider-man 2. The mission with kraven gets kinda annoying and i almost punched my TV but i saw this new power and asked my self "what am i becoming?" The kraven fight bothered me because when he turns invisible and hits you from nowhere you get mad! but when i beat him i yelled in joy!! and then beat the game and fought him in the black suit again i won alot faster now that i knew what to do. This game is what i expected...fun amazing and enjoyable!
This game is great. I bought this game a few days ago and it's my favorite ps3 game. The graphics and combat is kind of like spider man web of shadows for ps3 but a different story.
First of all this game is 10/10 because if you liked the game trailer than you'll love this so much. The sound is good and the punching sound doesn't sound wierd at all. Gun fire is good sound too aswell as voices of Tobey Maguire, ETC. The challenge is not too hard but just where you want it. Some missions like the first few are quite easy but the final showdown with Venom is very difficult. There are fun minigames like races, bomb tours, combat tours and sky dives. There are 48 missions in total that have completly different topics so you're not replaying the same thing in a fdifferent enviornment, Some missions as red and blue spiderman are where you take Mary Jane for a ride around the town, boss battles, crime fighting and even lets you use spider sense to solve crimes. Spin Webs, climb up walls, run, jump, fight and save the city with Free Roam feature, You fight enemies like Venom, Sandman, Rhino, New Goblin, Kraven the Hunter, Kingpin, The Lizard, Scorpion, gangs, gang leaders, and more! The controls are easy to get used to. Some parts of some missions require you to press certain buttons at the right time and example of difficulty is: Mission 1, gives you about a second to press one button. Mission 48, gives you half a second gfor each of the about 40 buttons you must press at different times. For the part where you battle the giant sandman you play as New Goblin on his glider throwing bombs and swing you electical sword. You play in cool places like the streets, the docks, the rooftops, the subways, the sewers and the enemy base where you must sneak in quietly. There is one mini game that you can only do once and the fun part of it is that you play as Scorpion fighting thugs. Enemies have cool attacks and weapons: Thugs have guns and knives, Venom will shot his webs at you and use super strength, Sandman changes shapes, Rhino charges at you, Scorpion shoots at you, Kingpin punches you, New Goblin has bombs, Lizard swings his tail and tries to bite you. There is also always crimes going on around town like the four gangs: Apokolips, Dragon Tail, Arsinate Candy and the Bomber Squad, there is also giant lizards roaming around that you see every few hours or so. Play as Spiderman, Black Spiderman for free roam and if you get the collectors edition than New Goblin. Trust me that you'll like this.
Want to get fun for hours??? well, try THIS!
For me is one of the best games on PS3. I know that some people say is kind of boring but if you want a game where you can weave webs, kill enemies and choose a mission what you want and when ever you want this is your best decision so go to your gamestop and buy it NOW! are only a few and there will disappear on the christmas eve!!! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN GAMES THAT YOU DONT REALLY WANT, TAKE THE BEST DESICION.
Well let me first start off by saying that I played both Spiderman 1 & 2 and enjoyed both games. This purchase however was a complete disappointment however. I mean I enjoy a challenge in a game just like anyone else, but some of the boss encounters here are near impossible. You have to have a lot of patience to keep from chucking your controller @ your expensive flat screen TV in a large number of the fights due to the complexity that some of these battles go into. I know that these villains are not your run of the mill street thugs, but indeed are "super-villians" and while that's good and well, could you atleast let me be able to set a difficulty level? I mean sheesh, these guys take more than a licking and just keep coming back over and over again. Graphically, the game is decent, what you would expect from Activision though. Also, as I recall in Spiderman 2, you were able to enter inside several of the buildings (not just the daily bugle) and either purchase items, health power-ups, and even play some "mini-games". None of that in this game. Oh, and what is the deal with not having health regeneration? I mean as I recall, Spidey's health regenerated in previous games. I don't even think his health meter grows as you progress in the game. The story line is pretty monotonous , the same missions over and over but with different "factions" of thugs and villians. No originality if you ask me. Yes, we all know how the movie and the game pretty much parallel each other but at-least make the missions some what fun. Oh, and what's with not being able to assault the citizens or destroy vehicles? I mean you should have the option of being able to do that as well. They could have added some type of "public opinion" poll on the city's attitude towards spidey that would impact missions and the games ending (oh wait, this game has to end like it did in the actual movie so scratch that). Anyhow, if you wanna run around, fight bosses who seem nearly impossible to beat, have little to no interaction with citizens in the city, and just feel like the missions repeat over and over then by all means BUY THIS GAME. But if you require a bit more stimulation, definitely stay away from Spiderman 3!!!!
