Rated 5 out of 5 by from We need part 2...fast! This game is fantastic. I had seen it on the shelves of GameStop before and never bothered to look twice at it. Then I looked into the game online and saw Youtube videos and thought it might be worth trying. So I bought it. This game is hands down one of the best shooter games I have ever played. The cinematography is excellent, the storyline is unmatched and the soundtrack is great. I could not recommend this game more. I am patiently waiting for part 2 which I read is in the works. PLEASE HURRY!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Good Game with a few flaws Spec Ops the Line is overall a pretty good game. The game has an interesting, but very twisted story and it also leaves you thinking. This game is not a generic third person shooter, thanks to some moments in this game (like the helicopter section in the beginning) and its story. The gameplay is very fun at times. The multiplayer in this game was not bad. The only problems I have with this game is the game was the lack of choices, the game's brutality slightly to moderately ruining the fun for me, the not too good controls and the gameplay was slightly repetitive. These are minor things, though. This game is quite similar to Uncharted 3 since the setting is in the Middle East, it has worn down, abandoned buildings, has a sandy levels, is a third person shooter, has a multiplayer which seems like it would be bad, but is not, is story rich and has a main character that is voiced by Nolan North. The differences are Spec Ops the Line has a darker theme, is more much intense, focuses on morality and is a military game. If you want to play this game, I recommend that you actually do play this game. Final Verdict: 88/100

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good til you get into it more This is a good game overall but when you get far into the game it gets really hard and you can't seem to beat it. It is different then modern warfare and call of duty. It is worth a try.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We are not in call of duty anymore. Spec ops the line is first of all very gritty unlike most shooters where it's killing all day with no consequences, this game focuses on the tragedies of war and the theme is dark. That being said it is a good game and is worth a try. The online is almost dead but there are still few people online, but the campaign is the main part of the game. This game is worth it and is a change from mindless killing of enemies.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Minimally funded game This game got minimal funds to make. Very cheap and not worth $30. Reasons you ask? - 1. Bullet to body system is very weak. Fails to register bullets as being "hit" 2. Your 2 partners repeat over and over the same recorded dialogue that eventually gets very annoying and they don't kill the enemies half the time. 3. 80% of the enemies look identical to one another. 4. The whole map is a repeat of itself basically. Sand and buildings. The only thing different I ever saw was a broken airplane at the very beginning of the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great story-driven, third-person shooter This is an amazing game for gamers who really love action filled, bloody brutal fun. The game starts as you enter the city of Dubai, which has been ravaged by a series on large sandstorms. As leader of Delta, you are tasked with locating survivors and evacuating the city. Well, once you enter, everything spins into hysteria. I dont want to give away spoilers so you will have to play the game itself to learn more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it's like playing Socom but in a different way! This game isn't so good to play, I mean, the game itself looks good the graphics and sound are okay, but squad-based 3rd person shooter that kind of looks like Socom us navy seals.
