Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stop The Torture! The game is heavily criticized for dumb reasons. The only reason this game should be hated is for it being unfinished and the glitches. Otherwise, this game is enjoyable and really has good multiplayer. Believe it or not, the glitches actually just make this game more enjoyable. Nobody's perfect. The game has great music, and the environment graphics are great although sonics character model could have been a little better. Overall, this game is very enjoyable and underrated.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't Waste Your Money Honestly, this is one of the worst games I have ever played. And I'm not alone in this aspect, go look up any gameplay or reviews for this game and you will find a buggy, un-fun, pretty much unfinished game. Seriously. Some of the key features of the game do not work most of the time, Sonic is so ridiculously hard to control, most of the time you will end up just killing yourself. Do not buy this game, go buy Generations. Same price, Infinitely better game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from needs work, could be much better i bought this game for xbox 360 and as a major sonic fan i was excited to own it. the gameplay was ok, but there were times were as sonic i would get to a point in a stage and get flown off the edge and die tragicly. the music was great and tbh shadow's story has the most potential. sonic's story is mostly chasing one person the whole time, or escaping from eggman. silver's story is second potential due to the fact it ties in more with shadow's story. its nice being able to free move rather then just one path the whole time. more enemies would have been good. if your a patient person who dose not mind some very trying moments and constant deaths this is for you. if the story is your reason to get games you may not like this games story as much.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Glitches Let me start off by saying that the music is possibly the best i've ever heard in a sonic game, (especially kingdom valley!) but the gameplay was by far the worst i've ever seen in a sonic game! the gameplay would not be half bad (at least in sonics case) if there weren't so many glitches! This game is nearly unplayable, and if you try to play it, you'll be wanting to throw you're controller out the window. The story is also a little dark for a sonic game, so i'd advise to get a different game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ha, Ha, Ha, No. Glitches, while gamebreaking, and some annoying. Many of them are actually very funny, so, very funny. You can skip 75% of Sonic's story with one.It feels half finished, almost like a... A... "Test Demo". Even Sega now rejects this game. Kids with high tolerance would like this game to be honest. You will cheaply die many times through bugged or even unfair gameplay. It's got a complex, hard to understand, yet intruiging story to give it credit. It's sound, as always, impresses. Sonic can always seem to do one thing right, and that's music. Graphics can go from good to terrible. The opening cutscene, in fact, most cutscenes, look great, even while having a bit of slowdown on occasions. However, the rest is dull. Sonic and the entire hub world looks bad. Instead of this game, i'd reccomend any other sonic game over this, because they are SO MUCH BETTER. Sonic Colors/Colours was great, Sonic Unleased was great for it's day time stages, unless you like beat em' ups(Night time stages are for you) Generations was spectacular, and even Lost World is better than this game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish I could it a better rating I really wish I could. But I can't. It seemed that you could not go anywhere and you only could stay in one area of the town. The gameplay is fine and everything but I don't if the controls are messed up or what. I am still a Sonic fan and always will be. But not a fan of this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not as bad as everyone says. I liked it. I was always really wary of buying this game, but I saw it really cheap new online and had to add it to my Sonic collection. I went into it thinking it would be awful and a joke, but I was pleasantly surprised. The music is really awesome (favorite Sonic OST), and the gameplay is fun once you get used to the sensitivity, Silver's gameplay was my favorite, but I really enjoy them all. The story was alright (Elise was SO stupid, worst part of the game is her), once you beat it just continue to play it on Stage Select mode. I didn't really run into many glitches at all (save the sticky snowboard and wall climbing problems). I'd recommend this to a die-hard Sonic fan who is good at the controls, and also enjoyed the Adventure games. The stages are a little longer and the game is a bit harder than the majority of other Sonic games, but I enjoyed that. Overall, I really liked it, but I'd say to get it only if you have good control (since it is really sensitive at times), and if you are one of those fans who want to see Sonic on every one of his adventures.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a really good sonic game! I really like the story to this game. If you like challenging sonic games then this is more for you. It a little glitchy some parts of the game but it not as bad as people say it is. It's one of my favorite sonic games Give it a try :).
