Ski Doo: Snowmobile Challenge
this is a good racer game. A kid could play or even adult. There are no bad words or any lyrics so it would be cool for anybody. Each race will get hard in my mind it did but some people might find it easier then i did. it is a good game.
this is not dirtbikeing but it could be the snow version of it. I had this game before and then returned it cause I didnt play it much but now I am planning on buying it again cause I feel I could play it better. Win more races. So game on.
Best game ever
this is soo worth the 4 bucks i paid for this this is the most fun ive ever had playing a snowmobile game in my life its like im really on a sled , really best game ever!
Not worth it, even if you can get it free.
I bought this game for 4.99 brand new a while back figuring that for that price it would at least be mildly entertaining. After putting the disc in my PS3, I realized why it was on sale for such a low price. This is the kind of game that you give somebody that you truly hate.
The graphics aren't exactly horrible, but they're definitely nothing special. "Blah" sums up this game's look perfectly. The racing tracks are not clearly defined, and while you're flying like a bat out of heck (because apparently, the alternative word is inappropriate language according to Gamestop) you'll probably miss a turn in a few tracks since a light blue line often defines the course boundaries which often blends in with the bland snowy/icy visuals.
The racing itself is very bare-bones, and the stunt run portion needed more work. While racing you can perform stunts to earn boost. To use boost, you have to fill the entire boost meter up, and if you use your boost you must you use it all at once or you lose it as soon as you let up on the boost button. The biggest problem in this lies in the fact that the racetracks are constantly twisting and turning, so using boost for an extended period of time is impossible most of the time.
The stunt events are easy, but the stunt system is flawed. You get next to noting for holding a stunt, so you're better off doing more than one stunt while in the air. The front flips work for the most part but back flips are annoying and take some practice to figure out how to land since often times holding straight back on the stick makes you start to twist.
The game has an online mode, but it is completely barren. If you and a bunch of friends are unfortunate enough to decide to buy this or hate you lives enough to do so, though, you'll have some other people to play with.
The soundtrack...Oh God, the soundtrack! It will make you wish you were deaf.
Overall, there are so many better racers out there so don't waste your money on this game unless you're a snowmobile junkie, have poor taste in games, like wasting money, hate your life, or hate the person for whom you're buying this game.
this game is fun but kind of hard i would say bout 8 out of 10
Well for me I not really big on the one objective kind of games. This game I wouldn't really waste my money on because in the game you really are only doing one thing and that is racing. It may or may not have a story line to it but if it does it would be a 2 second thing before every race. Games like this only have a limited main menu that include career, arcade, and classic modes in them. But if your the person who likes to play those kind of nothing games so be it.
