Saints Row The Third
Saint's Row 3 is a game worth buying.
Saint's Row 3 is an excellent game mixed with comical and realistic gameplay. You can customize your own cars, and yourself. This game is perfect for those who love free roam's and those who just love to have fun. The story is not the best, but it's there to get you new weapons, cars, or just costumes. The cutscenes are bada**, the player customization is very big too (You can be a female with a male voice that has blue skin!) Overall, if you're thinking of buying the game, get it. You'll love it.
BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
Better that the fourth! It is the best game I have ever played in my life! All in all, it is an awesome game!
A Step in the Wrong Direction...
In a lot of ways, I feel Saints Row 2 was better. Even with that being said, this still is a good game and it was really nice of the developers to include a download code for SR2 for free [if you bought SR3 new]. The graphics are great. No their not GTA IV but they really fit the style Saints Row has always been going for. The Story is where the game lacks; it’s like the developers got lazy. What should have been side missions that add to the gameplay are now mandatory missions you must pass in order to progress in the story. Multiplayer is fun. You have a survival type mode as well as your classic free roam with another player. All in all this game does have its flaws but they aren't anything that should make you stray away from it. It’s a great title to add to your video-game collection.
This was so much fun
I enjoyed everything about this game, I really like open world with lots of options and the ability to make your own character. I am working backward and playing Saints Row 2 because three was so fun. I play on getting Saints Row 1 before Saints Row 4 comes out just so I can see the whole story.
Grand Theft Auto's Devilish Spawn
Saints Row the Third. After playing GTA4 and hoping for an insane amount of mayhem, it didn't quite meet my expectations. Don't get me wrong, I thought GTA4 was excellent in a more serious way. I then saw the announcement of Saints Row the Third in my Gameinformer. It looked like utter chaos and that's exactly what I had been looking for. Playing the game was fantastic. Although at the start you don't get much, it builds up over time to the point where you're literally a god that can't be destroyed. The story is great except for a few things. One being a Major death being you know who. Two being that honestly it was slow at some times but came back with more awesome missions. Three being the fact that the game forces you to do some side missions sneakily disguised as a main mission. Beyond that fact this game truly is incredible. Immerse character customization. Hilarious weapons. Car customization. In depth character upgrade system system. And finally do almost anything you could think of with the tools that THQ and Volition provide. If there was anything else I need to mention that was not so fresh about the game it would be whored mode. There's no real point to it and it's also not that entertaining to me. At least the other side missions and collectibles and whatnot kept me entertained while getting every trophy for this game. Overall this is another favorite of mine and I can't wait for the 4th!
This game was everything i expected and more. The customization is great, guns are great, and the overall experience was just pure awesomeness
SR3 OVER THE TOP!!!
I have been a fan of the saints row games when the first one came out. In saints row 3 it is epic over the top gameplay and I love it but, after the campaign it's really boring and some of the early missions are just boring but, the campaign overall is a sold 8.5. Lasting appeal well with the over the top gameplay you will most likely remember this game. Graphics overall a good 8. One of the things that bothered me where the 3 gangs felt like one whole gang except they wore different clothing because remember those meetings that all 3 gang leaders where at well all they talked about was how to stop the saints. Also I really wish they added multiplayer but, that is okay because of co-op. Also there will not be multiplayer in Saints row 4. Overall I give Saints row an really good 8.
Hilarious Version of GTA = Near Perfection
I have never really been into open world sandbox games. However, in the sense of Saints Row The Third, I am starting to love them. This game is a great rendition of Grand Theft Auto with an Adult Swim feel to it. There are some things that kids may find cute, and they put them in the game for a reason. Everything Professor Genki is hilarious. The gameplay is great. There is just so much you can do. Graphics are slightly worse than GTA, but you get used to them. With a sick soundtrack consisting of bands such as The Black Keys to Motley Crue, and a ton of things to do, I would recommend this to anyone who loves the following:
Didn't know what I was getting into
Bought the game based on a recommendation from a Gamestop employee. It was hilarious how you start the game with a no face character and start to make your own. The purple bat (not allowing me to use the word) was hilarious, the game is very up beat, love how you just jump through the windshield when stealing a car. I finished this game twice, put it away and just started playing again after 3 months. The only complaint I have is that the cars are WAY too arcade. Feels like I'm playing Outrun whenever I'm driving, but the rest of the game makes up for it really well. Once you customize the character, you're not stuck with it, you can do plastic surgery and change their looks at any time. The dual pistols with exploding bullets is my favorite weapon. I didn't know you can call for backup until the 2nd time I played. Hottest character in the game would have to be that Nerd girl and Viola. Love how you can just jump off the helipad instead of normally exiting the buildings. Very fun and has much replay value.
it blows sleeping dogs out of the water
