Rated 8.0 out of 10 by Game Informer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Setlist and Unique Gameplay This is a must of for those who love to play music games. It has a good setlist, especially for people who like to play this at parties. It also has..Gulp.. a Storyline?! It kind of does, and it does have someparts where you do need to do well in order to suck-seed. Don't be shy because its lego, it's actually a very fun and unique game. get it, its cheap and FUN

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly fun Ok, so I played Rock Band and Guitar Hero. I also played some LEGO games, but when this was released I had grown out of the LEGO games, (however that's probably because no new LEGO games had been released besides this) so I thought I wasn't going to get this. Well I had some spare cash and got it. I was extremely impressed, the songs are definitely more lively and fun songs, stuff for kids or for parties with adults around (as if for teens, however I doubt they would play this when they could play "bleeped" Rock Band 2) and the LEGO part is incorporated more as an addition to Rock Band instead of just flat out combing the games. When you play it seems like regular Rock Band except your character is a minifigure and everything is LEGO based, but that just adds to the fun. All in all, a fan of LEGO or a fan of music genre games should definitely pick this up, I thought it was pretty good and the songs were... interesting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Create-a-character In Lego Rock Band, there is a mode where you can create your very own lego rocker. Personally i think it's actually kinda dumb. Okay, so you can use pre-made faces (as usual) and put clothes on your character (also as usual). But the heads and the bodies skin color doesn't always go together. For example you find the perfect head for your person and then you find the perfect body, you think "well he looks pretty good," and then you notice that the bodies arms are like dark yellow, while the head is this sort of tan color. It looks just all off, not normal. So if you want it to look normal, you have to find a head and body with the same colored skin. I like Rock Band 1 2 and 3's feature where you can just select your own skin color, and it goes for the whole body.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great game, but too easy songs Lego Rock Band is a good game, but the songs are too easy. The selection of songs is very good, many familiar songs, perfect game for the whole family. I would recommend this game for those who want to have some fun with family or friends. The sound is very good, clear that this is essential in a game of music / parties. Nothing to reproach, the graphics are toy bricks do not think it can be better. Controls are the same in all games music / parties. Responsiveness is good, no more. In my opinion, the variety of sound is the best in the game, you can feel like Queen or Europe, that is the best. Finally, I repeat, I would recommend for someone who wants to have some fun with family or friends, but not looking to challenge, because the songs are too easy. I also recommend for those starting to play Rock Band.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Luvs It!!! I purchased the Lego's Rock Band and a Rock Band kit for my 15 year old son as a Christmas gift. I had read that Lego's Rock Band had a "Super Easy" mode and since I was not sure how hard Rock Band would be I thought that would be a great option to have. My son is mentally disabled (just a little) and to my surprise this is GREAT for his hand and eye coordination. He plays on the super easy mode and does very well. Regular Rock Band does not have Super Easy so he does not do as good it boo's him off the stage sometimes. Although, he is able is get through some of regular Rock Band songs o.k. without being boo'd, Lego's Super Easy mode is preferred. I love the fact that when I play with my son, I can put my guitar on "Medium" (that's harder than Super Easy), my son can play drums on "Super Easy" and yet we can both be playing the same song together. Lego's let's you play a ton of songs from the Free Play mode if you don't want to do the story mode. That's what we do. Regular Rock Band band makes you play in story mode to unlock songs. Lego's lets you have access to the songs right away. I was amazed to see how many songs i would like, and be able to download. I am little older (New Edition fan age) so when i saw downloadable songs from Earth Wind and Fire, Average White Band and The Jackson 5....i just about lost my mind!!! When my husband and I saw those songs (and others)...well..we kicked my son off and we "jam" all of the time now (even after my son goes to bed). We don't do story mode..just straight jamming!! I'm thinking about getting my own PS3 so I don't have to feel so bad about spending so much time on my son's. This is the first game that has brought my family together. I NEVER play video games. Now we play as a family and have the best time ever! And for parents of younger kids..you can download only family friendly songs and they even have some Nickelodeon groups like The Naked Brothers Band ( "I don't wanna go to School" is a cute song) Sponge Bob Square Pants songs The game is very much like regular rock band..the notes come down the same, the sound is the same etc. Even though the characters are Lego's i don't feel like I'm playing a kid game - Medium level is kicking my butt.!!! The Characters are cute and i love that, but most of all, my family "jams" together now for hours instead of everyone going to their own room and watching t.v.... apart.
