Rated 9 out of 10 by RebelRowzer Fun. Underestimated. And, FUN!
I've owned this game for a long time now but felt I needed to give it a review based on the low compilation "6" rating. Like many, I was initially somewhat apprehensive about getting it when it came out because I am a Bourne fan and didn't think they could do right by the character and by Matt Damon's portrayal of Bourne on the screen, but I have to say that I was happily incorrect. Once I started playing this game I could not, I repeat... could NOT put it down. The gameplay and the pacing of the story had me hooked. I really found myself pumped up and eager to keep charging through. Can you say: Embassy scene? Whew! This is SO much fun in the game! And no, no game is perfect, but unlike some who may have mentioned, I didn't come across any blips or glitches that I can recall. It was smooth sailing for me and I truly enjoyed the experience it gave me. And I can honestly say, being a longtime, diverse, hardcore gamer, that this is one game I have played over and over and STILL haven't gotten bored with it. So, I say at least give it a try. Game on!
Rated 8 out of 10 by Falcon cool game but short
I was really excited about this game after I played the demo for the PS3. After buying the game I was kind of disappointed because the game was short. Maybe for a player that doesn’t want to rush in the game play, this would be a good game to get. But as for me being on vacation, I had a lot of time to kill so I beat this game in about 5 days. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun game. The fighting of the game was the main thing that got my attention to buy the game. I really wished the driving part of the game was much longer. Maybe if they adding more missions or more storyline from the second movie it might have been a little bit better. For some one that would like to play the game for easy then test their skills to the hardest level, this is a great game to buy. But if one does have a lot of free time to kill, maybe they should think before of buying this game.

I was stoked to get this game after I finally broke down and bought my PS3. The game is pretty good but entirely too short. I was hoping that it would encompass all 3 of the Bourne films. Why didn't they just call the game "Bourne Identity" since that is basically what it is with flashback missions? The fight sequences were really easy with only 2 attack buttons and X for block. The fun came in when the O button was used because this showed a really nice array of fighting moves. Unfortunately after the first fight you have seen pretty much all the moves. I played this game for about 6 hours total and beat it and I am not even a serious gamer. I had to redo several of the missions. Even with redoing all the missions I still had it beat in such a short time. The last time I beat a game that quickly was Star Wars Force Unleashed. (don't get me started on that friggin game). I am just glad that I got Bourne Conspiracy for free when gamestop had the buy 2 used and get one free. If I had paid for this game I would be upset. I suggest renting this game or borrowing it from a friend. Heck you can borrow mine! OK maybe not..... I don't even know you.
Rated 7 out of 10 by Endwar 3 Good but not the best
Well let me just say all of my reviews are very deeply reviewed this one will be too. all first say if you are a fan of the movies then you will like this game because you always have wanted to experience those big action movie scenes ok the storyline was very interesting and fun but it not the movie and things changed they edited the cutscenes witch disappointed me so don't expect that but it has a full day worth of campaign mode so its not very long but in the hours of gameplay it has very pulse pounding moments and all the action you want this game is very challenging even on easy mode weapon selection fails big time only 4-5 guns in the whole game but you do more hand to hand combat than shooting but trust me tons and tons of shooting aiming was pretty bad to be honest and no grenades or anything like that so boss fights aren't very hard from soldier fighting but on hard mode you will see the difference this game involves around stealth at times this is not a free world game you will have to complete the objective the way it's supposed to happen. But all and all it's very fun and pretty solid but could of been way better. thank's for reading
Rated 9 out of 10 by Renoben Great game!
I was skeptical buying this game being a die hard Jason Bourne fan because a lot of games taken from movies and books sometimes don't turn out so well. I wanted this game to measure up to the intensity of the story portrayed in the books and movies. I was pleasantly surprised at the visuals of the game and the fight sequences. The fight scenes are beautifully done and as intense as the visuals in the movie. I also loved how they went backwards in time to show us some of the history of Jason and not just follow along the lines of the movies. The weapons interface is a little glitchy from time to time, but the hand to hand combat is second to none. Overall, I would recommend this game to anyone. Don't be intimidated by the fight sequences, they are challenging and take getting use to. But once you have it down, its all gravy.
Rated 8 out of 10 by B32FFUZZLE Not Bourne, but not bad.
I am a Die-Hard Bourne fan. He is awesome, my favorite action character. I love the Movies, and have seen them all. (I have seen a little more than half of the first one) One of the reasons I like the Bourne movies is because of Matt Damon. He plays the role perfectly. I was extremely disappointed when the guy in the game didn't look like Matt Damon. I don't know why, but when I think of Bourne, I think of HIM as Bourne. Kinda just like a trigger. Also, bourne has a look that kinda makes him look like a spy. Most of the Time he is wearing a long, black coat, when the guy on this game wears a pin stripe-jacket thing. He looks like a normal guy on the streets. I don't know what got into the bone-heads that made the Bourne character, but they really messed up. Now for the review. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game is just flat out the best. I haven't beat it yet, buy I hope to in a couple days. The graphics are good and my favorite thing is that Bourne will do a takedown, and use some thing like one foot away from him. That must have taken them a TON of work. This game is just great. Buy it if you are a die-hard Bourne Fan, or like Fighting/Shooting games.
Rated 0 out of 10 speechless......
I downloaded the demo for this game and was amazed at how great of a game this will be. The shooting was probally the worst ive ever played in a game. But the driving, and the best hand to hand combat and takedowns are the best it can get! The graphics are amazing how detailed the 1080p bloody black eyed fights are and the details of everythingThe graphics might not be as googd as uncharted or assains creed but its in my 4th place. The ps3 has much more clearer and detailer graphics than the ps3 and for people who are worried about no games or hadrives u can upgrade it to a 230 gb or even a 500 gb. and every day games r releases for the ps3 It was a demo so hopefully the controls will be a little better but all in all this is one of the best games so far ever made... Become Bourne become The Perfect weapon
Rated 6 out of 10 by ehh Somewhat dissapointing but still good
I was expecting this game to be in the ranks of Uncharted, Splinter Cell and Heavenly Sword but I was wrong. The graphics are ok, Gameplays is somewhat quirky, I mean, I'm trying to shoot this guy and I'm hitting him but it doesn't seem to affect him. Like my bullets are just passing right through the person. Then he just collapse. Also, when triying to get a weapon and a person is on top of it or near a wall, It's really hard to pick it up. Jason would put his back against the wall instead of getting theweapon most of the time. Also the one on one fighting is somewhat diasppointing. I hoped that it would be better. The good thing about the game is finishing moves. I mean they are extreme incapacitating moves. I also find controling the vehicles to be too sensitive. Other than thay, this game is ok.
Rated 9 out of 10 by vikinggod5 Great Game! Sort of
This game was awesome, the storyline followed the first book and first movie but it kept switching between present day and past missions. Not to mention to not play game to find out storyline. Only makes senese if you watch the movie or read the book first. It is definetely able to go from easy to impossible. The graphics are great and so are the controls, sound and interface. But even if you are watching a cinematic do not put down the controller because you might have to do intese fast-action button mashing. The length was ok but since no mutiplayer the only reason to keep it would be to challenge your self by increasing diffuculty which would eventually get boring. I recommed buying if you play it at a slow to regular pace but if you play and hour every day then you would beat the game in a week tops. Fun definetely,oh and the takedowns are awesome. You act with the environment. If there is a shovel, use a takedown and it is so sweet. Especially the shooting takedowns. It left length do be desired. Think about what you want before you buy this game. It would have been better if they combined all movies in one game. Would be best game in universe with that and multiplayer.
Rated 6 out of 10 by DrPixel A generic, yet still fairly nice FPS game.
The Bourne Conspiracy is NOT necessarily a bad game, however it isn't exactly very good either. The gameplay consists of generic gunplay mixed in with a bit of stealth and nice action sequences. Surprisingly, the graphics are quite nice for an older PS3 game like this. The music is pretty nice from what I heard and the sound effects were not too shabby, so it gets points in the technical department for sure. Unfortunately, from what I played (which was about 80% of the game), the gameplay gets all too familiar after a while. I would recommend buying this game only once it drops to $5 and even then only do so if you have an extra $5 to spare and no games in that price range interest you. Luckily, I picked my copy up very cheap and I'm glad I did, because I didn't miss much to tell the truth.
