Great multiplayer/family game!
I normally don't submit reviews for anything just read them unless i feel real strongly about something and i'm afraid some people might miss out on a quality family game because of other negative reviews. In my mind this game has the best variety of gameplay ever released for kids. If you want a good, clean, wholesome game that everyone in the family will have fun with it's this game. The first time i saw the movie Rio i thought it was kind of annoying, i was tired at the time and thought there was way too much going on at any given time, blah, blah, blah but my son who was10 at the time I think,( also have a young daughter) wanted this. I have always been reluctant to buy kids games and even other family games because they are always so lousy. This game really suprised me, there is no split screen so as many as 4 players do their thing at the same time with no glitches or anything. The graphics and music are colorful and lively. There are 40 or so different games and even though a few of them are similar they do not take away. Not every mini-game will appeal to everyone as there are maybe 3 or 4 that I personally don't care to play but they don't last that long anyway so I don't mind that much if someone wants to pick one which leads me to the next good feature. You have three choices you have at setup screen, random 20 ( they pick 20 mini- games for you) random 10 or pick your own and the latter is where this game helps keep it fresh as you can pick 1 to all games to play in a set, and in any order. Each mini-game has its own leaderboard and are easy to read for young kids and it has a winners podium at the end of each match that is cute and well presented. If you have even a little bit of a kid inside you Will have fun playing this game. My family still does and a year and a half or more later we still take it on our vacation for rainy or nightime fun. The reason for all the 10 ratings is a reflection of my comparison of this game to others in it's genre.

Multiplayer? Really!?
Ok, so the movie looks like a cheap impersonation of Happy Feet just with wild colored birds, and they throw a game together out of it, it was a bad idea with Happy Feet and could've ruined it, as all movie-based games can do, and then you make a game for a movie that should already be a flop!? I really want to know what was going through THQ employees' minds when they decided they would make this game, and the worst part, put a MULTIPLAYER MODE IN IT! Where in the world does that make any sense? It's a dancing bird game based off a movie, very bad move. No hopes at all for this.
