A Burnout Wanabee
Ridge racer needed some new material so they decided to go with the Burnout formula. But they Failed. Stupid cars, horrible tracks. Good Graphics. but that does not matter. The overall aspect i got from this game was it was trying too hard to be burnout. Destroying cars and buildings got me that factor. Compared to Burnout Paradise i'd rather get that game. The game has cops but they can't bust you and they just get in the race. The races are unbearable from the beginning. As a newcomer to the Ridge racer series and the beginning was HARD!!!!!. their is no mercy in this game. Now if this was in the later stages of the game this would be ok. This game has no redeeming quality whatsoever. Do not Buy!

A good racer, but overshadowed by.....stuff.......
People say that Ridge Racer: Unbounded is a terrible game because it feels more like Burnout: Paradise than Ridge Racer, and that it doesn't feel to realistic enough. Well how come games have to be realistic? Why can't games be unrealisitc? Games were supposed to just be free time. I suggest get UNrealistic with RIIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDGGGGGE RAAAAACEEEEEEER UNNNNNNNNNBBBOOOOOONNNNNEEEEDDDD!!!!! I will admit that this feels like Burnout, but Burnout pretty much died at this point because since there has been a Burnout since 2008. BURNOUT: CRASH DOESN'T COUNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately....... EA killed Burnout to replace Need for Speed............*sniffs*......... Anyways, this game has this thing called Frags. No not the grenades, but it is when you crash into another racer hard enough they do this over-da-top explosion it makes Michael Bay look like Care Bears. It never gets old in my book, but everybody else seems too.......okay. Anyway, you race through tracks while doing that and it is FUN. I'll do a re-visited review when I complete even more the game. It is fun. I like it. :)

RR Unbounded fails
I cant believe I spent money on this game. Ridge Racer 7 was awesome. This one just let me down. There are different areas to race in but almost all the maps are the same. You can ram certain areas in the game to get a bonus but it always shows a cut scene when you do (which gets old fast).
The controls are different than previous ridge racer installments. You have hit L1 to drift, and there is no Manual transmission. If you are expecting the traditional ridge racer experience DO NOT get this game you will be disappointed.

SPLIT SECOND TO THE MAX
THIS GAME IS AMAZING, ITS ALOT LIKE SPLIT SECOND, YOU CAN BLOW UP AND DESTROY ALMOST NEARLY EVERYTHING IN YOUR PATH, THIS GAME ALSO ALLOWS YOU TO LISTEN TO YOUR OWN CUSTOM MUSIC WHICH MAKES IT EVEN BETTER, AND TO ADD TO IT THERE ARE OVER 100 EVENTS AND PLUS YOU CAN CHALLENGE OTHERS IN THE WORLD THIS GAME IS AMAZING, AND HAS SO MUCH DESTRUCTION AND CHAOS, MUST BUY IT, YOU WONT REGRET IT

Unbounded and Unfinished
I had high hopes for Ridge Racer Unbounded. I was quickly let down by the lack of environments. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING looks the same. There are different districts but they all re-use and rehash the same tracks and areas. Tracks are very dark and have a odd orange hue to everything. The multiplayer component feels like it's partially finished and the overall game feels like a work in progress. Who makes a racing game without lap times and total race time!!! Bugbear that's who. No online leader boards, no private matches with tracks from the game, you can only select user created ones that are far from good. Overall a very poorly made game.

Seems like a great game to me
I think this will be a pretty good game, but you never know. Hopefully it has a good story plot and a nice variety of cars to choose from.
