I have had a wonderful time with Rayman Origins and it is a shame that it has sold so few copies. The more I play it, the more I get addicted to it. I'm a 20 year-old college student and I don't feel guilty playing this Cartoon-styled game. Heck, my sister's 24 year-old boyfriend get giddy to play co-op with me whenever he's over. The visuals are beautiful, the music and Sound are top notch in a funky fun kind of way and the gameplay is tight and flowy. Every part of this game comes together perfectly and I have to say, I hope this sells more copies so we can get another follow up soon. Has a lot of value with ten worlds that will take you probably ten hours to complete, but ther is a lot of stuff to collect and secrets to find if you're a completionist, like myself, which will easily double if not triple that amount of time. Great value. Don't be put of by the fact that its not a 3d game. The amount of value and fun rivals or even surpasses some 3d games on the market right now.
Rated 10 out of 10 by NerdSpecialK Platforming is back
There is so much charm and character built into this game, it's hard to describe. Everyone's played platformers, so there is no real need to go into the type of game it is, but I will tell you that it is very well done; think new super Mario bros. meets little big planet. The game is gorgeous! Everything is hand drawn and you can tell a lot of work and emotion went into to creating not only the characters, but the worlds around them and even the small effects. This game is best seen in HD, which you wouldn't think becuase it's a cartoon. I paid the extra 10 bucks for the PS3 version over the wii for that reason. The sound is awesome too, the music is very conducive to the gameplay. Upbeat levels will have you tapping you feet and even bopping to the music, while the tougher levels will have you at the edge of your seat! You may die a lot in this game, but it's not frustrating like in most games ( I'm looking at you new super Mario bros.). This does not have online play, but it is a game best enjoyed sitting in the same room as those you're playing with anyway. Do your self a favor and pick this game up! Or at least download the demo and see for yourself.

There are two types of people in the world of gaming. There's the people who play the videogames that are good. And there are the people who only play rated M videogames. I played the demo at the E3 convention in Los Angeles, California. And all I have to say is that when most people see the cover they think, "This is a little kid game." when the truth of the matter is that it's everything but a little kid game. Little kids can try to play it... but the fact is that it's really hard. Oh, and not to mention that the graphics are amazing because they're hand drawn. I've never seen a game with these type of graphics. So I when it comes out in November, I highly recomend it.
Rated 10 out of 10 by SamFoster Gorgeous Great Platforming Time
This game is beautiful to look at and, most importantly for a platformer, wonderful to control. This game gets quite difficult, but when you die, it is your fault. Unless you have a faulty controller that is. But still, it is a joy to play, the soundtrack is whimsical and weird, it is fun for adult and kids and anyone in between. It has a wonderful local co-op multiplayer that will make you and three other friends hate each other the whole time for messing you up, yet its fun the entire time. This game is very French and weird, but other than Mario, its the best Platformer you'll find around these days. Couldn't recommend it more. Buy it so we can get more of these games.

Rated 2 out of 10 by xX518HITMANXx THIS GAME SUCKS
THIS GAME LOOKED LIKE IT WOULD BE ALOT OF FUN AT FIRST. IVE PLAYED IT FOR 2 DAYS AND ITS ALREADY BORING SOME PARTS ARE JUST TO HARD, MORE SO FOR A YOUNGER PERSON. HAVING TO PLAY THE SAME PARTS OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO MOVE FORWARD GETS OLD REALLY QUICK. NOT MANY BOSS FIGHT FINDS ME WANTING MORE AND THE CONTROLS ARE JUST STUPID I WOULD NEVER LET AWAY ONE I KNOW BUY THIS GAME ESPECIALLY FOR A GIFT TO A YOUNGER PERSON THERE IS NO WAY A 10 YEAR OLD KID COULD BEAT THIS GAME PLAIN AND SIMPLE ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY
I WOULD MAYBE PAY 20 DOLLARS AT THE MOST AND STILL I THINK THERE ARE BETTER GAMES OUT THERE

When I saw this game come out, i thought to myself;"I would really love to play that!." The graphics are very good and there are parts of the game that I (even at age 18) thought was Halarious! This game really puts a gamer to the test with old fashioned platforming. If you like that kind of game then totally go it ! There are also many many characters you can unlock , each with a special thing about them. I myself waited till it dropped in price and when i finally got it and played it i thought it was great!
Rated 10 out of 10 by Art4Life Classic 2D Platformer with Old School Challenge
At $20 this game is a steal. Any fan of the old school platformers will feel immediately at home while playing this game. Do not be fooled by the cartoony graphics; this is a very challenging game and you will die a lot. Sometimes the challenge seems cheap (especially in the treasure chasing levels), but perseverance will be rewarded. The graphics are unique, hilarious, and gorgeous. In closing if you have the patience to play this game through - and enjoy plaftormers- you will thoroughly be very pleased.
Rated 10 out of 10 by DADMN A lot of family fun
I bought this with my 4 and 6 year old kids in mind. They love it and I enjoy playing it with them. I was a little worried about the violence but can tell you that the characters simply punch, kick and slap their enemies. It's really not too bad at all. They music drives my wife a little nuts but I'm pretty sure she's happy with peace she get's when we're all engrossed in Rayman. It's fun and I highly recommend for kids 5-10 years old, but understand that it's fun for big kids as well.
