Rated 10 out of 10 by soonerman2000 Best College Football Game Ever
This is no doubt the best college football game EA has made. Ever. First, the camera angle is good in the regular gameplay and everything but its really annoying in Road to Glory mode. You can barely see what your player is doing on the play. Thats really the only real flaw I saw in this game. The other flaw is that the commentating is no different than the previous games. The only difference is that there is no Lee Corso which I don't like. The controls in this game are amazing. The locomotion system is very smooth and the rest of the controls are alot more smooth as well. The graphics and animation are great for the catching and tackling. The best thing I found about this game is how challenging and realistic it is. The online play is great, and it is challenging. The dynasty mode is pretty good but could use some improvements here and there. But there is no doubt that this is the best NCAA Football game EA has made. It'll be a while before any college football game will beat this one.

It's a good game for me because I think college football is great. I am not a fan of the NFL. One thing they need to improve on is the college football atmosphere. One of the biggest things in college football is the student section and the noise and passion of the fans. They don't have any of these in this game. Its no different playing home or away (other than your jerseys and the stadium). Also, the appearance of the players needs to be improved. The players should be allowed to have dreadlocks and long hair, a lot of people have that now in college. Also, I know it is a video game, but it would be nice for some of the glitches to be gone and for it to be more realistic. Why can't there be jump balls? Some players don't have the character they do in real life. To fix this, they could add some more ratings, like balance (for players like Ingram), shut down ability (for corners like Patrick Peterson on LSU), and breakout speed (like Denard Robinson). These are key factors for many players' success.

I must say i was ready for this game when it came out. When i started playing, the gameplay flows really well and all the extras are really great. My issue is that even when i am playing a regular season game, it seems that the gameplay just stalls. You can still hear the croud and everything but you cant do anything other than look at the screen. Also, playing the Road To Glory is what defines this game from all others. I really like how your progress is followed all season long. However, I do wish that they would give you the ability to play defense when the game is on the line within 7 points. Also, it would be better if you dont like how your season went or just want to leave your school, they could do some type of system where it showed what teams wanted you so that you could transfer to a different school. But all in all, the game is AMAZING. Dispite the few flaws that it has, the online dynasty is incredible and the online wire is great. I would recommend this game to any college football fan.

the last NCAA football game i had was the 2009 version so when this one came out, i was expecting a bit more. yes, the graphics are better, but the stadium sounds are not very good. one time, i was playing at Florida state, and after every facemask penalty against them, the crowd would do their little chant thing every time. it got so annoying. the commentator thing during the game hasn't improved a bit as far as them talking during the game. yes they added the home team entering the stadium, other than that, nothing at all. the Road to Glory as it's called now hasn't changed at all. with the exception of changing the name and adding Andrews into it. the difficulty has change a bunch since the last NCAA version i bought. i had it on the highest level of diffeculty and had the computer's A.I turned all the way up and i was creaming the number 1 ranked team 65-3 everytime(i was being Arizona) unless your an online player, i wouldn't highly recomend this game for anyone

I would absolutely recommend this game to everyone who enjoys football, It's just that I have a few things to nit pick on. First thing is that what happen to the turbo button? Noone is extremely explosive like some people are in real life such as Noel Devine, he should not get ran down by a OLB because that would or hasn't ever happen. Another thing is I play on All American and still beat Oklahoma in a bowl game 63-7, that shoudlen't happen either. When the star players jump around before the game they jump then stop, jump then stop, that doesn't happen, nor do teams act like idiots jumping around after every game as if they have w!on the national championship, not a big accomplishment to beat Maryland anymore. Last but not least it feels as if the crowd is not into it as they were in previous years, I use to love turning my TV up and feeling as if you were their while trying to get the first down and the controller just goes crazy. Just a few things that should have been addressed but I give EA credit, pretty decent overall.

This is a great game for people who love college football. I have not played an NCAA football game since the 2007 version. Overall, the gameplay is great and the controls are very fluid-like. The sound in the game is great and it's still the college bands playing which is something I have always liked about this game. Finally, the graphics are outstanding! Why did I give it a 9. Well, for one, a 10 on my list is games like Modern Warfare 2 and Assassin's Creed 2. Also, you will see some closeups of the crowd when it is intentionally showing your player celebrating or running, and the crowd literally looks like it is from SNES graphics. I was very surprised to see this and have come to see it a lot since I've played. Other than that, a fantastic game. The lasting appeal is a 7 because football season is usually when I play these games and then I'm basically done for a while. Great game and a great buy in my opinion though.

And again NCAA college football has proven to be one of the best video games ever made. Maybe I am biased because I am such a huge college football fan, but for me this is one of the best games I have ever played. Also, you can tell that EA Sports has put a lot of effort into making this years game right off the bat with an awesome opening trailer. Also, the new lighting system used in the game makes everything look 10 times more realistic then in years past. There are only two flaws that I can see with the game and they are that during game play the fans still look like crap and also the players towels seem to be poorly designed because they just are sticking out of the players pants and they don't move with the players movement like they should. But other than that this game is near perfect and I implore you to get this game if you are even remotely thinking about it because of how great it really is.

Rated 0 out of 10 by Cavethug (xboxlive) Good game, worst cover ever!
NCAA is a terrific game, putting Tim Heblow on the cover however is a horrible mistake. Being hyped by the media is no way to determine who a great player is. The guy missed how many games? So what are we doing now.... taking into account how well a player does in the games he plays and projecting how well he could have done if he started all of them? If that's the case, lets put every guy who's doing good but gets injured on the cover. I'm just dissapointed yet again with the cover. But I suppose that's to be expected. The heisman is a joke, nothing more than a popularity contest anymore. You will never see any position but QB,RB, or WR win it, which is sad considering the Heisman used to be for the best player, not the most popular QB,RB oe WR. So, the best thing I can say is ignore the cover. It doesn't have the best player last year on it, Tim Heblow isn't even close to the best player. And anyone who says he is even in the running for best college player ever needs to stop drinking the foolaid. Marino, Elway, Montana, Kelly. No way is Tim Heblow of that caliber.

When I first saw the demo of this game in the PSN store, I just HAD to get it. Once i downloaded it, I kept playing the game over and over. Just yesterday I went and bought the full game and it didn't disappoint. I absolutely love this game. The online has a couple of lag moments but most of the time is rock solid. The career modes will keep you coming back for more. The controls and the new locomotion system are really quite simple and the running style is much more fluid thanks to it. The game also added a new replay system where it shows the replay in multiple angles and it makes you feel as if you were watching the game on T.V. I recommend NCAA 11 to any sports/football fan. They have a one button controls system for the newer NCAA players that is really simple. The experienced NCAA players will see the major improvements since the previous copies of the NCAA series. Buy this game today.

Rated 8 out of 10 by Airik Great game for ncaa football franchise lovers
This game was pretty sweet when I first got it. The graphics are pretty good I must say. The gameplay for the most part was smooth with a little lagging at the home screens and kickoff parts of the game. Other than that a smooth game. I'm glad that they put refs on the field now to make it seem more realistic, although I'm not quite sure why they got rid of the first down markers and guys holding the pins. And it also frustrates me when the defensive line kind of just stands there when they could easily make a sack or put pressure on the QB. Also sometimes people just stand there and don't block when you could have used it to gain more yardage. The tackling could get a little better but they did improve on that quite a bit. I loved how they kept the Road to Glory mode on the gameplay and quite enjoy it. I also like how you can zoom in on a certain player and watch the game from his point of view. The simulating ahead of game feature is just awesome as well and is really helpful to speed games up when you know you're going to win. I love football and this is a great football game for college football lovers. Keep improving EA.
