Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game if you are a collage basketball fan. The game is fantastic in many ways including franchise mode, free play and tournaments. The game is only bad when it glitches out during a game. That is my only problem. It is very hard to fid in stores but if you see it you should buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NCAA Basketball 09 was hardcore b-ball gamers I loved this game, I loved to created myself as the Point/Shooting Guard for Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to played Georgia Tech head coach, Paul Hewitt to made Tech as the Up-Tempo men's basketball team in ACC Conference or Notre Dame is the toughest conference in NCAA Basketball: Big East Conference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great game!!! I love this game very much because it has all you need in a basketball game! The only problem I have had with this game is that when I am in dynasty mode, I win three games in a row against all ranked teams and I went down ine the standings. But overall that is the only problem I have had with this game! I would definately recommend this to a friend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from EA drops the ball again I really wish EA would quit monopolizing games in order to force people to buy their games. If they would just make quality games then they would not have to get rid of the competition in order to sell the crap that they make. I bought NCAA 09 in hopes that it would be at least a decent game, seeing as how its the only version of my favorite game (college hoops), but was thoroughly disappointed. The graphics are terrible for this system (PS3) and the gameplay is horrible. The computer makes even the most unrealistic shots 99% of the time. The only good thing that I discovered about this game is that the controls work pretty well. I was so disappointed with this game that I took it back to the store the very next day. I would have taken it back the same day, but I did not feel like going back to the store that night. I will just continue to play College Hoops 2K8 until 2K comes out with a new one. EA should quit phasing out the competition & focus on making good, quality games. They spend so much $ getting rid of competitors (2Ksports) that no focus is put into the quality of the games produced.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Honestly this game is terrible! I think that this game is terrible because the graphics for one look like the old sega system, which may have been better, dont get me started on the commentary, c'mon Vitale your better than that, half of it is delayed, the other half of the commentary makes no sense at all and has nothing to do with what is going it at that current time, the rosters are horrible, you cant play a authentic schedule because some small schools might not accept the offer. All I have to say is I only bought this game because it was the ONLY College basketball game obviously out there, I love NCAA 2K8 by the way and cant wait till they bring that franchise back. This game barely deserves a 10 because honestly EA, you used to be the top dog, but you guys really drop the ball on this one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from NEEDS NAMES!!! I was excited about this game, NCAA basketball 08 was fair, not great but fair, so I expected them to be able to "step up their game" for 09. There are goods and bad's of this game...The Dynasty mode is very frustrating to use because many of the key options are hidden under other options, The numbers for the players are terrible, apparently they think that no one cares about NCAA enough to have the actual names. Once you get the rosters updated and the actual player names in then it is way more fun! The create-a-character was fairly disappointing. i expected there to be more options for characterization, not like fallout or something but at least like the old tony hawk games! there are only like 10 options for hair, 4 for hair color, around 6 for skin color, it was very frustrating not to be able to make your created character actually look like you! in all this game was good, but still did not reach based expectations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dynasty is AWFUL! the gameplay isn't bad, except it is impossible to jump for a rebound and a center can catch up to a point guard from 20 feet from behind on a break away. But the Dynasty is the worse thing i have ever scene. First off, 4 starts come in and are 58's and when there seniors they are 65's. you get a 5 star and he may be a 78 and he will leave after one year(which is realastic) but the recruiting is awful. You'll be the highest team on a players list for 5 weeks and max out on you points for him and he won't commint anywhere. I would be ok if he went somewhere else but he just dosn't go anywhere. That really adds to the game let me tell you. Bring back 2k, so much better. Also this dynasty mode you can only have 1 player so u and a friend can't play dynasty against each other. But yea thats EA you "improvements" really are great and thats for not even giving us the option anymore to buy a diffrent game. I usually like EA,. Football and Hockey are awesome but they should just stop with the basketball already, they are clueless.Oh and yea the computer will never ever miss a lay-up. and for some reason on the calendar the logos are diffrent sometimes from what the school is.
