Worst 2k game I bought so far.
Nba 2k15 was a waste of money, which I had to scramble up to buy this game. The gameplay was terrible compared to Nba 2k14; the players couldnt make shots and the cpu played like their game sliders were maxed out. I couldnt enjoy Myplayer because the cpu was overpowered and kept getting fouls on every other play. I havent even tried online, but the offline play was aberrant so Im giving up on the 2k franchise. I payed too much money for this type of game. They pretty much created this Nba game just for the money. Do not buy this game, theres been no improvement since 2k14. Now I have to trade this in to get what Im hoping is at least half of my money back. Would not recommend this to anybody!
Just like 2k14
On the PS3, this is exactly like 2k14, only the degree to shoot has decreased, making it harder to actually make a shot. Extremely disappointed that there have been no changes/improvements for PS3, and it's a clear example of them willing to leave their PS3 fanbase behind in lieu of Next Gen. Servers were down the first two days this game came out after they swore to make improvements to them prior to the game's release. All in all, a very bad gaming experience.
Being played by a game
Since the beginnings of this proud franchise, I have annually added an NBA 2K game to my Playstation library, but I am very disappointed this year. Take a quick gander at the commercials and social media that has been touting and hyping up this game. From the MyLeague and MyPlayer storyline features, to in-game analysis from Shaq himself there are a lot of features to be excited about this year! Unfortunately, none of them made it into the PS3 or Xbox 360 this year just the "net-hen" systems. I totally understand the want and need to make the next-gen games far better, but there is no notification on any of these marketing campaigns that says the main features are PS4 or Xbox One exclusive. NBA 2k15 on PS3 is no more than a roster update.... a $60 roster update... Very disappointed in 2K Sports.
Don't buy unless you don't have a PS4
I have been a fan of NBA 2K for a long time and I have to say that this is the first entry in the series to disappoint me. I played the demo on PS4 and XBox One before purchasing this for my PS3 and although I figured that some of the things in the next-gen versions would be absent from the versions for PS3 and XBox 360, the product that they released for them is pathetic. I knew that the face scanning feature was exclusive to next-gen, but was it really that hard for them to implement My GM or a more fleshed-out My Career mode in the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions? Literally nothing is different except for the shot meter and the fact that the Charlotte Bobcats are once again the Charlotte Hornets. The only things that I can praise are the soundtrack and the fact that you no longer have to purchase all-stars or legendary players for use in the Blacktop mode. However, those small positives do not outweigh the negatives and I may exchanging this for something else soon.
nba2k15 is a joke on ps3
the same game as last year only the rosters have changed my player is the same the gm stuff in my player is the same what a waste of 60 bucks
MyCareer for NBA 2k15
I think that it is unfair that NBA is so much better on the other systems. My friend has a PS4 and he has NBA 2k14. I played his MyCareer and it has so much better gameplay than in the PS3. I honestly don't see why you only get the cut scenes in the next gen systems. Also I think you should be able to import your player from one game to the next, so we would not have to start over every game. Also I don't think it is fair that NBA 2k15 on next gen systems their are different modes. WHEN WE ARE ALL PAYING THE SAME MONEY.
NBA 2K14 = NBA 2K15
Very Disappointed, this is the most expensive roster change ever, charge me $15 and do the roster update on the 2K14, because is the same game actually some things were taken out on the halftime break you no longer hear the commentator talk about the first half highlights, music is sub par, controls are kinda bad considering (like the frigging R3 activating in game sub menus if pressed) making it verify difficult to play and messing you up in close games situations, even if it was a watered down version of all new features they should've made it to all systems, 2K you have a chance of fixing this.....make an update and push it thru with same features, so that you can justify the $60 price tag on PS3 and Xbox 360 for a $30 game at most.
2K has no back-up...
This game is similar to 2k13.....including the server problems. I stopped playing 2k13 and refused to buy 2k14 because of those issues and this year's edition seems to be full of the same problems.
I have had the game 48 hours and the servers have been down for 44 of them. You cannot do anything with my career at all because the servers cannot pull up your information....
I am strongly considering asking for a refund....this is the worst I have ever seen and may make me switch to Live 15 and give them a shot in 2 weeks.
What's the hype?
What's the big hype over this new edition of NBA 2k? New euro league teams? The rookies? The new soundtrack? Where's the news about any improved gameplay?? Less dumb glitches, more realistic finishing, body contact when going for a block. Anything new in the gameplay? At all? I'm not wasting sixty dollars for a game they refuse to improve. The game is out in less than 3 months yet no notice about improved gameplay. At least add some more historic teams and players instead of euro league players. Still no Kareem. No Wilt Chamberlain in his prime. No prime T-mac, prime Kobe and other historic team possibilities.
Very good game
Very good game. I Like it a lot!! I like the graphics and even though its not as good as the ps4 i like the Career mode and all the other gamr features!
