Product Details:

NBA 2K14 marks the return of the world's biggest and best NBA video game franchise. Following more than 38 Sports Game of the Year and "Best Of" mentions last year, 2K14 is set to rule the virtual hardwood once again. This year, 2K joins forces with the league's most dominant force: LeBron James. With a soundtrack hand-picked by the King, refined controls featuring the new Pro Stick, the return of Crews, new Signature Skills, enhanced defense including blocked dunks, and more, NBA 2K14 will raise the bar yet again.

  • Crews - The single-most requested game mode is back! Face off against opposing crews online using your MyPLAYER. Create your logo and face off in 5v5 battles with other crews featuring leaderboards and stats. (PS3 & Xbox 360 only)
  • Dynamic Living Rosters® powered by Stats, Inc. - Player attributes and tendencies automatically update daily to reflect true life hot and cold streaks. Now, each game played in the NBA can have an effect on your game.
  • King James Soundtrack - Featuring artists and tracks hand-picked by LeBron James, including JAY Z, Eminem, The Black Keys, Daft Punk, and many more.
  • MyTEAM - Back and better than ever, with new player modes, multi and single player tournaments, and much more. (PS3 & Xbox 360 only)
  • Pro Stick - Throw down show-stopping moves, pull off intricate shots, and toss flashy no-look passes with deadly accuracy with Pro Stick control. Easily the most intuitive basketball controls ever implemented.
  • Signature Skills - Six new Signature Skills, ensuring each NBA player's unique abilities are represented in the most authentic way possible.
  • More Signature Styles - New jump shots, dunk and layup packages, dribble moves, free throws, pre-game intros, getbacks, celebrations and more.
  • Depth of Content - With significant upgrades in nearly every aspect of the game, both on and off the court, NBA 2K14 boasts more animation content than any previous basketball title, and includes more than 3000 new animations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2K's best effort to date and by far Let me preface this by saying the fact I'm speaking about this game 2 years later speaks volumes to how much I like it. Remember this was released in 2013, so put aside future releases for now. So, what I continue to find so lastingly appealing about NBA 2K14 is the fact it does everything 2K13 did, but does it better, and do things it's successors didn't do. On top of the natural, free flowing and organic commentary which feels derived from a real life broadcast, you have stunning graphics, attention to detail, realism, complexity, smooth gameplay, and an authentic NBA sim experience. Cover athlete LeBron James curated the soundtrack, arguably the game's best. And the gameplay is just a beginning. Association, MyCAREER, MyTEAM and 2K staples are all present here, but one of this game's crowning achievements is the heavily requested return of Crew mode. 2K listens to their fans, and throughout these modes, you'll notice all the unfixed bugs from 2K13 are gone; completely gone. And that makes the overall experience more pleasant. I like being able to actually see the score board after a dunk replay. The LeBron: Path to Greatness mode harkens back to NBA 2K11 and the Jordan Challenge mode. Where the Jordan mode replicated real life highlights of Jordan's career, the LeBron mode lets you choose one of 2 hypothetical scenarios; either you 3 peat with the Miami Heat (which in real life they did not do) and create a Heat dynasty, or have LeBron leave in free agency (which he did do) to join Chris Paul and Dwight Howard on the....Knicks?! Spike Lee, you may applaud now. The main challenges with the LeBron mode are billed as a "resurgent Kobe Bryant", which I personally like, a defensive stalwart of an international player known as the "LeBron Stopper" and a player (Allen Iverson who else) that was never thought to play again. To top it all off, you get to hit the blacktop, to let current stars play a little pickup with NBA legends. If you thought 2K13 pitted the current stars against the pioneers before them, think again. You could not get the full effect with that, but here you do. Legends vs current stars on the blacktop? Wow. Gameplay, commentary, blacktop, the LeBron mode, Crew, MyCAREER, MyTEAM, Association, fixed bugs and more? Sign me up! NBA 2K14 is by far 2K Sports' best outing to date.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DON'T BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is by far the worst 2k series I've ever played. Even if your shot release perfect and your wide open you still miss. The game is rigged it picks one team and the other team scores all of their shots and even if you have an A+ excellent shot release it doesn't matter dont buy the game.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ok... I suppose 2K14 was a good game, but it had a couple of things that I didn't like. The graphics are the same as 2K13. The gameplay was somewhat similar to NBA 2K13, as well. But still, 2K14 was a good game to play!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's good but it could of been better 2k14 is good even though i enjoy using cheats, when you glitch the game it gets boring. So i just playing it regular it actually makes you better at 2k. So if you play someone you might blow them out if you are good at my career. GTA 5 i have not experienced it yet, so i cant comment on it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best 2k game yet The Graphics, the sound and the game play are extremely amazing in NBA 2k14. The Graphics are clear and the players look like themselves. The Sound is also clear and it is never late when making a call in a exhibition game. The Franchise mode is great with fast simulation and a easy quick way to make trades. The only trouble I have is it takes too long to download new content and it freezes on the starting menu. Over all the game is fun and it would be fun to play at a party.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Copy of 2k13 This is a great game however it is not that much better than 2k13. You should just buy 2k13 unless you are crazy about updated rosters like I am. I like the MYcareer mode but its not that much better than 2k13. overall I think it is just a copy of 2k13 with some stuff that are better than it here and there but it is still a great game.
