Mystic Heroes (PS2 Classic)
Hack and Hack Again!
Mystic Heroes is a hack n slash rpg for PS2 and Gamecube but was also released onto PSN for PS3 users. Basically if you've played Dynasty Warriors, you'll feel right at home.
The gameplay is simple, hack and slash your way through hordes of enemies and less allies. The game is basic, even in the graphic department but has its own unique story to tell about the typical battle of good and evil. You can select between four different characters that are skilled in certain elements. Ice, wind, fire, and lightning it appears to be. The story should take roughly 5-7 hours each play through but the characters offer some differences in the story mode as to where you go and who is involved a bit.
Multiplayer is indeed included for split screen. You can combat enemies together in four different levels, each harder than the last. Up to four players can play, selecting one of the four characters available to choose from.
But if you're not into the hack n slash gameplay you should avoid this as only true fans of the genre/gameplay style will enjoy this title. I know I did since I was little back on Gamecube. Overall it's a basic PS2 port for PS3 users to enjoy a simple hack n slash game with a unique story and to play with your friends on good old split screen.
