I Love this game! I was looking for the best motocross game really, and based on reviews this seemed the best, but i was still taking a chance. The controls feel great. You get an areana to ride around in and have fun while the game is loading too. i like that. What blew me away was the freedom and amount of play this game offers. There are many different types of events, not just races. They even have free roam and Nice open world type maps. There are LOTs of Maps and LOTS of different types of vehicles. way more than just atv / mx. I was supprised at how much fun there is to be had with this. Big air is mad fun with stunts and all. Pretty realistic. Many different levels of difficulty as well. Great game to have a season with, and or just sit down. Even with a friend it does split screen! i only gave the graphics a 9 because the highest resolution is 720p. Couldn't be much happier i love this game. Very FUN
Rated 8 out of 10 by HondaRyder A decent motocross game
MX vs ATV Untamed was the first next gen MX racing game on the PS3/360 and for what it was, I was impressed. It's the next installment in the MX vs ATV franchise leading Unleashed on the PS2/Xbox. The graphics were great, the bikes and tracks looked very realistic. The gameplay was good, controls were fluent, the whips off the jumps were a little slow but still looked somewhat real. I liked that you didn't have to race the championship mode to unlock tracks so I could just pick it up and play anywhere. My only complaint is the sounds, they're aweful. The 4-strokes sound like harleys and the 2-strokes sounded like big chainsaws and sounded more like riding on the road rather than a MX track. Overall its a decent game and I'd recommend it to anyone.

I played the demo and let me say, this game seems like it was made by some kid in his basement over the course of a weekend. It's the glitchiest, most unfinished game i have ever played, and i played spiderman 3. I do not look foward to this coming out, and i can't believe they would expect people to pay sixty dollars for this crap, It's just funny how bad it is while your playing it. kinda like multiplayer for cod 3, everything about it is broken. the sound effects are repetitive, the graphics are terrible, and it plays like a glitchy ps2 game. don't people realize when theyre making a bad game?

Well ive been waiting for this game since i bought my PS3 at release time. I lovedddd the old MXvsATV games and the original ATV offroad fury (with the exception of the 3rd one). When i saw this game was coming out i was so so excited. However, i feared THQ was going to turn it into an arcade... non simulation kind of game.... which they have done. How very dissapointing. This demo is terrible. i just wish someone would make a good SIMULATION mx game for the nex gen consoles. Think DiRT but with motorcycles and supercross tracks. now that would be nice.
Rated 1 out of 10 by GTAfan4life GTA IV's physics and Sanchez is way, way better
The graphics are barely decent. The sound is unbearable, esp. the engine.
I bought this game because GTA 4 didn't have big dirt areas for freestyling with the Sanchez.
Compared to the GTA IV game engine, this game is horrible.
You can't perform backflips easily. The course are really hard to play. It's hard to maintain speed.
Everything's a hassle.
It's just an ugly game.
And worst of all, THE CONTROLS SUCK.
In two words, clunky, rough.
Just plain bad.
Rated 0 out of 10 by c25porter there is promise
As far as the sound, I like it. The fourstrokes have that little bit of a whistle when you let off. The graphics are better than before, and there seems to be promise of new challenges. Like the guy before said if you throttle too much on certain jumps you over clear and crash, which is more like real life. I look forward to the rythym races. I hope that there are some changes made to sounds but the game play seems good, I just hope the tracks and challenges live up to the rest.

yes. i cant believe it. ever since i got a next gen console ive been waiting for a great offroad freeroam game with dirtbikes and such. you put the computing power and graphics of a ps3 and the intense fun and thrill of mx vs. atv together and it has to be good. its games like this that make me glad that i have a ps3 (i have an xbox 360 also but if its a game thats out for both, im gettin it for ps3). finally! i am so HAPPY. i hope they live up to the ps3's potential.
Rated 0 out of 10 by A Customer Played demo version and it was horrible
I downloaded the demo for this game from the platstation store and in my opinion it was horrible. As I stated it was the demo but the graphics looked like they belonged on ps1 the vehicle sounds where horrible and no realistic feel to the race like your sitting still and the tracks coming toward you . Unless there was major improvments between demo and release version stay far away from this one!!!

well the demo was a good one but it was sorta trying too hard on the realistic side. this game has great supercross but if you jump too high you will wipe out ???? i mean come one what is up with that yo and if you do a trick 5 seconds ago and you are still in the air you will moast likely wipe out but i do have to admit you have some pretty cool tricks on this game

I'm as well so excited to see this game coming out. i was disappointed when my bro told me he was geting a ps3 (no super smash bros. brawl , sniff) but, myself, being a total mx fan cant wait to se what they have in store for the new version. Far too long has MX vs. ATV unleashed been the only good mx game on the ps2. Did i mentioned i love mx?
