Step into the boots of Boyd Travers, Private First Class of the 82nd Airborne Division and engage in battles throughout Europe. From rocky beginnings in Sicily to war-winning triumphs in Germany, each mission begins behind enemy lines, with an intense and fully interactive airdrop. Your ability to determine your own starting point dramatically changes the way each mission plays out. View the entire operation from the air, and then control your parachute to choose your landing spot. On the ground, gather your senses and assess the terrain. A wide variety of authentic, customizable weapons are at your disposal, each with distinct characteristics. Choose your path in this free roaming FPS environment. The producers sought counsel from numerous expert sources to make certain the game is historically accurate and as true to the WWII Airborne experience as possible.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good time killer Medal of Honor Airborne is very good if your looking for a time killer, but the problem is that as you progress through the game the enemies get extremely difficult and very accurate. For example i was about 3 missions into the game and i landed and begin to snipe the enemies (sniping is my style) and after i shoot one of them a guy with a SMG and apparently lazer accuracy killed me in 4 shots. Now the next problem like in most games you really cant rely on your AI troops DO NOT COUNT ON THEM AT ALL at best they are good shields but nothing more. The good part of this game is the interesting level design and the air drop mechanic letting you have tons of freedom of were to land. This game in conclusion was a fun time killer but dont rely on it for an in-depth story. on

Rated 2 out of 5 by from campaign is awful This game was not very good. After about twenty minutes it gets boring. online is pretty bad, but campaign is worse. first of all, u dont respawn, u have to find health packs. also there arent any checkpoints, so if u die near the end of the level u have to start over. also, u have to lead ur squad most of the time, which means u have a better chance of getting killed. overall, nthis wasnt a very good game

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good not great This medal of honor and vanguard are fairly similar. They both involve paratroopers, and the idea is somewhat cool but it really didn't impact the game so much. It says landing spots makes a big difference, but it really doesn't. You may have to walk farther to an objective, or use a different route but your still doing the same thing in the end. Nonetheless, the game is fun. It's the standard shooter, but it does have some customizable options such as adding sights or silencers to guns in the single player. The single player missions are fun and while the campaign is short, the missions are longer than most (there's only few of them). The maps are really large and allow you to explore different paths to the objective or take out objectives in your own order if you have multiple of them. The graphics are a little dated but still look good and the AI are still challenging. I was disappointed about the lack of names or character progression. Your fellow soldiers are largely the same and don't really change much through the story (the same goes for your character). Enemies however will change and become harder as you get to the end. The online isn't really an option anymore since no one plays and I believe EA may have taken down the servers. All in all I enjoyed the campaign, it was fun, challenging and ended a little to quick but it's still a good game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best of the Series Personally, I loved the campaign. Although it was short, the missions never got old. The paratrooper-based gameplay was a unique addition to the Medal of Honor series and definitely added a new level of excitement to the game. Players are air dropped into battle at the beginning of each level and are able to land virtually anywhere you please. If you get bored of the Modern Warfare series and want to take a step back into the past, I highly recommend this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good game! The online stinks, nobody's ever on. The campaign is fun, but there aren't very many missions. The missions get fun as you go on. I like how you have to jump out of a plane every time you start a mission. There is a scene and briefing before every jump. It's a great game!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I like Medal Of Honor but........... this game leaves alot to be desired for me. I was not impressed from the get go witht he controls or game play. I did finish it, but will not reccomend it to anyone. this was by far my least favorite MOH game that I have owned. hopefully they can do better next time.
