Medal of Honor Airborne
Nice job EA
This game was the first shooter game for my PS3 and i wasn't sure if it would be any good. But then i started playin it and i was extremely impressed with this game. You can do so many things. First you start out in a plane with all your paratroopers teammates right before you jump and every level has a different scene. Once you jump you have full control of where you want to land on the map. You can even choose any weapon you want to start out with(starting out with a few weapon choices to a lot as you progress through the game). The detail in this game was probably the best thing out of all(for the PS3). The levels are really fun to play and the levels are real operations through WWII. All except the last level der flakturm which isnt real though still equally fun. As you progress through the campaign your enemy become more challenging and dangerous then the first. Bosses are the most fun to play like tanks but the funnest (and hardest) would be the storm elites which probably isnt real either but still equally fun as well. In the last level you are trapped in an entire room full of them and you have to fight your way through. So anyways if your a fan of the MOH series and you like a good WWII shooter, I highly recommend this game to you.
The Best MOH Game EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game was so awesome. Especially the scenes before you jump out of the plane. Every drop its a different start and you can actually look around unlike moh vanguard( if you have it). whats also very cool is that you can pick your weapons before you start the level and whats also cool is that you can get sweet upgrades for your weapons that make your gunslinging even better. The graphics are the best to (on the ps3) so that is a good pro. the only thing is that on the level market garden it seems to be very glicthy at the last part. and the story line is very accurate except for the last level Der Flakturm which is probably not real, but the enemies on it like the nazi storm elite is one of the best characters (and hardest) that you fight. and who doesn't like being a WW2 paratrooper fighting nazis? but overall i highly recomend this game to fans of moh and people that like war games. SO GET IT!
Try, Try, And Die Again.
This is one of those games that could have been better if they took more time with it. One problem right off the start is when you jump out of a plane (that's how you start every mission), there is a huge frame rate drop, and in the first level, the screen even blacked out on me for a second! The problem is too many things going on at once, even too many for the PS3. After you land, the controls are another problem (depending on your play style). They don't let you make up a custom control scheme, which I find pretty hard to not let someone do that. R2 is always fire, and L2 is always to aim. One thing (it's probably just me), but the AI is pretty hard! That's not really a problem but you do find the occasional idiot soldier who either runs straight at you shoot him, or he comes up from behind you and kills you. On the up side, the game looks really good (when there isn't frame rate drops). If your looking for a challenge, then you'd probably like this. On the other hand, if you like war games, that are not glitchy, try other series.
Not Deep Enough
You know why Medal of Honor: Airborne cannot compete with Call of Duty? There are not enough game modes to choose from. This is what made Battlefront and Halo so renowned. All you can do is story mode and online play. Unless you're addicted to online play and the story mode doesn't bore you, then this game isn't all that bad. However, the gameplay does not change from each Medal of Honor to the next. Is parachuting really enough to buy this game. There is some challenge, and the controls hardly change over the years. My brother enjoys this game, as he is "a serious gamer," but I despise it. I do not recommend this game for an Star Wars Battlefront or Call of Duty fans out there looking for a good shooting game; this isn't it. Look maybe for Battlefield Bad Company, which is made by Electronic Arts also, yet has more exceptional gameplay.
The online stinks, nobody's ever on. The campaign is fun, but there aren't very many missions. The missions get fun as you go on. I like how you have to jump out of a plane every time you start a mission. There is a scene and briefing before every jump. It's a great game!
Medal of Honor Airborn is a yes on my list. Being a paratrooper in ww2 is an awsome theme to play as. Jumping out of airplanes, killing Nazis, and taking over areas is extremly fun. The graphics are very rich. You feel like your in the game. Also a little detail in the game is that have you ever looked down at your feet in another ww2 video game and you couldnt see your legs? Well in this game you can see your feet and legs! A little detail. Online is awsome too. Great graphics. You can be axis or Allies online. The game setting is real, and is very fun. The only thing that is allitle bad is that if you play it constantly before you know it your done with the levels.Well i guess thats with every game. So I would say you should get the game, I have it for ps3. So im speaking for ps3. Im sure the other game consuls are good too.
Not a game worth playing
I got this game a few months ago just to see what is was like well just say in 1 hour of playing it it really bored me. I mean the game play is ok but dont really seem that realistic and the controls really get on my nerves. Then comes the storyline wich is not really good either and dont really make that much sense at all. The graphics is very good for the guns and up close combat but for the landscape..well it could use some work. The battelfield scenario looks real beautiful and makes oyu think about a walk in the park but the whole gameplay and battle scenario is really like a big scrimmage because sometimes you cant tell if your shooting at your partner or the enemy and you may get upset if you find that an enemy just shot you down out of no where wich really made me mad because that happened to me about 20 freakin times. The carachters are real stupid and bad acting and not the cinematic texture for a game at all. I took this game back the next day and was real happy. I had COD: 3 a year back and it was way better than this game real cinematic affects, good characters acting, and intense gameplay. So overall this game was really a failure.
Medal of Honor
Medal of honor is the best game ever; everything about it is great. The story line is challenging, but not impossible. I think everybody should get this game. The graphics are good too. I have every medal of honor game for playstation 2 and 3, and this is the best one I have. The online gaming is good too, you can do anything on this game. I have a lot of friends with this game and we are always playing online against each other. If you're looking for a shooter game, this is the one you should buy. I totally recommend it. I mostly like this game because it has awesome weapons in it, and as you go through the game you get better weapons and upgrades. This game is a great game, I love this game. The beginning is a bit hard, but once you get the controls down it is really fun. Well I thought I should tell all of ya'll.
One of EA's Best...
This is one of the best WWII First Person Shooter games ever made. Ther sound effects used for all of the guns and weapons are realistically accurate and sound great when you're playing with surround sound. Anyway, the graphics are very good considering it was made about 3 years ago. The physics that were used in the game make it even more realistic. The story was a typical WWII video game story: Killing Nazis and completing objectives such as eliminating bosses and exploding tanks. The last few levels could be very difficult for some people. If you die, then you have to start over from the last checkpoint (which kind of stinks). But if you are willing to not give up no matter how many times you die, then I recommend this game to you. On my opinion, EA did an outstanding job at creating such an awsome WWII FPS game.
Medal of Honor Failure, poor game
Since the begining of the next-gen systems it seems call of duty has left medal of honor in the dust. This was an unsuccesful attempt to try to create a new idea for a ww2 game. It is the exact same as any other ww2 game, but you just jump out of plane, which is over rated. The hardest level is the first one, and the control interface is strange. It is hard to fight. The only combat move you can do is shoot and ducking behind walls, nothing fancy, and way over priced. The storyline is bad and hard to follow. No multiplayer. The graphics are no different than the ps2 version. This game got old very fast and returned to gamestop and bought a much better shooter. The campaign is only skin deep and you cant customize anything, not your person, not your weapons. Overall poor game.
