Rated 5 out of 10 by Niick A Misleading Game, with minimal features.
This game splits the cars into 6 classes. There are 20 cars in each class. This does equal 120 cars, however, all of the cars in a class are the same, except for paint jobs and bumpers ect. So really, there are only 6 playable models of cars. Also, even though this does have a 3D mode, its not that great and gave me headaches. It can be turned off though. Also, there is no way to adjust the sensitivity of either control stick axis, which is bad because many of the cars have bad oversteer and like to spin. You cannot change the control scheme either, the control scheme that is used is good, but still it would have been nice to change it. Finally, most of the events are easy, until you get to the 8th level, then they get way harder all of the sudden. Finally, the only mode that doesn't have time restrictions is the racing. It would be nice to have a demolition derby where cars are eliminated by being damaged out, not timed out because they didn't earn enough "points". Instead, buy one of the games I recommended below; Destruction Derby Arenas is better if you want something that is easy to pick up and play and has a nice arcade feel. Or if you want something with a nice story mode and more realism and TONS of game modes, try Test Drive: Eve of Destruction. And if you still really like the Noire feeling of this game, hook either of the other games I wrote about to a black and white TV.
Rated 9 out of 10 by SuperReviewer A Great Game!
when I bought this title I knew very little about it
and was concerned it would be a stinker. I was Wrong!!
it's a whole lot like the Destruction Derby series for ps1/ps2 and is more
fun then I've had with either Blur OR Split Second!
you have an amazing amount of tracks (that aim for wicked crashes like figure eights, hairpin turns, derby arenas, and more!!)
Loads of vehicles (one hundred and five I believe) lots of things to tweak
my only real worry was the Graphics since they are primarily Black & White with reds and yellows here & there. the Noir Graphical style is excellent for
this game type, multiplayer online is extreamly fun (8 player online)
playing matches such as "king of the hill" where you must Push opponents into a Pit!!! others have you crashing away to earn boosts to be able to
go to Ramming Speed!! (this has Much Mayhem Potential)
overall the game is probably the best Budget release yet and I Highly
recommend this to ANYONE that Loved the Destruction Derby Series!!
also has Local 2 Player Split Screen!
Graphics: B&W Noir style 4 1/2 stars
Sound: very good (though I could do without the announcer) 4 stars
Controls: Excellent and spot on for this type of game 5 of 5 stars
Fun: easily 5 stars! replay value here is Very High! especally with Local Split Screen!!
Overall: an extreamly solid title that you can choose to use 3D or not (a nice option) and it's so much fun I think I'd recommend this to everyone, kids and adults alike! a solid 5 Star Budget Title! (PS3 Review)
Rated 6 out of 10 by dustgrinder OK game.
I don't have 3D so thats why i said graphics are poor. If you have 3D it might look better. Also i beat the game in under a week and almost platinumed it but decided to get my money back instead(LOL). If you want some easy trophies than this game is for you!!!

Game reminds of that one game back on ps1 called derby where it was all crashing cars with the full out derbys and races that run through the fig 8 tracks. Going to be AMAZING!!!!!!!
