by MellowCase23 Excellent Gameplay
I have played both THE SHOW and 2K11. The biggest difference i found in the gameplay was the hitting and pitching. The hitting for THE SHOW is pretty hard, but the pitching is quite easy. The hitting for 2K11 is so much fun, and way easier than in THE SHOW. Also the pitching, is pretty easy as well in 2K11. If you like a more FUN gameplay, than 2K11 is just right for you. If you like a more CHALLENGING/FRUSTRATING gameplay then THE SHOW is your style. P.S. I think King Felix shoulda be on the cover!

Mlb 2k 11 has improved somewhat from last year. A little better graphics and player models. The gameplay is pretty smooth, but be warned you can commit alot of errors, like overthrows bobbled baseballs at shortstop and second. The cpu seems to get a lot more hits off you this time round, that makes the game a little more challenging. The sound is better and the enviroments have improved, like the stadiums, the fields and the fan models.Overall it's a good game for gamers to have fun with, but if you want more of a challenge, stick with the show.

Seriously, did they stop development in 2008? The graphics are dated and blocky. The players' faces look like aliens. Animations are delayed and awkward. Gameplay is "classic" or otherwise known as uninspired. I think anyone who plays this game deserves the $1 million dollar prize. What a lemon. The announcers are stiff and annoying before the end of your first game. What is going on when a company can do this to it's customers?

This game is great for hardcore 2K players, but inexperienced 2K players will have trouble. The My Player is something I don't really care for. The graphics, however, are really good. The game is good, but I've played significantly better. I'm not saying it's bad at all. It's a game I very much enjoy playing. I don't like having to look at Roy Halladay's face, though, every time I pick it up and use it. 7/10 Very good.

This game is just like 2k10. The only differences are the roster changes and the sayings from the commentary. The game also freezes too but not as bad as last year's game where I couldn't get past the 3rd inning in the first game of the season. Atleast I'm able to get games in on 2k11. I once had MLB 11 as well but it seemed like the same MLB 10. So there's no real big differences in either The Show or 2k11.
Rated 7 out of 10 by Jthb1996 Same as 2k10.
This game is a pretty good baseball game. It is pretty much the same as 2k10. The gameplay is a little clunky, though. The sound is pretty good, with the crack of the bats, the pat of the ball in the glove, the crowd, and the announcing. The graphics are nothing special, but they aren't bad. Once again, same as 2k10. I would only recommend this to baseball fans who are looking for an easy break to The Show.

I doubted this game so much ever since 2k started sucking lately. But, i tried it, and i love it! No really big complaints, just a little laggy with the player movement. And no more roster updates. A few cool things about this game is MLB Today, and My Player mode! I totally recommend this game to any baseball fan! It's wayyyyy better than The Show in my opinion.

MLB the show is the only baseball game worth playing. Last year they offered a million dollars for the 1rst to throw a perfect game. What no one realized is that this happened in the first week yet they kept advertizing the chance to win a million months after in efforts to sell the game. To me its sad that you have to offer money to make up for the minor league game play that this game offers

While I do agree the graphics in The Show have been better, I have continued to buy 2k just because I like that the top 100 prospects are the real players. I like that, as the Braves last year, I could call up Jason Heyward and Mike Minor and it was really them. I guess I didn't play The Show last year so they might have changed that, but it is one aspect I need in my baseball games.

I just previewed this game today and let me tell you now I will definitely buy this one over the show. In the past I have gotten the show but this one is the best this year by far. 2k11 is allowing you to play the game the day of the game and is updating players and their stats that day thats what I love about 2k sports
