Product Details:

Amid the post-war boom of Hollywood's Golden Age, Cole Phelps is an LAPD detective thrown headfirst into a city drowning in its own success. Corruption is rampant, the drug trade is exploding, and murder rates are at an all-time high. In his fight to climb the ranks and do what's right, Phelps must unravel the truth behind a string of arson attacks, racketeering conspiracies and brutal murders, battling the L.A. underworld and even members of his own department to uncover a secret that could shake the city to its rotten core.

Using groundbreaking new animation technology that captures every nuance of an actor's facial performance in astonishing detail, L.A. Noire is a violent crime thriller that blends breathtaking action with true detective work to deliver an unprecedented interactive experience. Search for clues, chase down suspects and interrogate witnesses as you struggle to find the truth in a city where everyone has something to hide.

DLC Bundle includes:

The Broderick Detective Suit -- Boosts Cole Phelps' fist-fighting abilities and resilience to damage. Throughout L.A. Noire, Phelps will inevitably encounter suspects or persons of interest who prove resistant to arrest. Phelps' hand-to-hand fighting skills could be called into action in these cases and the Broderick suit, which enhances his fighting abilities, will help give Cole the edge in making that collar.

The Sharpshooter Detective Suit -- Sharpens your aim with rifles and pistols. Always a worst case scenario for any Detective working a case, there are inevitably occasions when pursuing or confronting a suspect escalates to gunfire. In these shootout situations, the Sharpshooter suit gives Cole extra aiming precision to take criminals down.

The Badge Pursuit Challenge & Button Man Suit -- Hidden around L.A. Noire's beautiful recreation of 1947 Los Angeles are 20 police badges to find and collect. Find all 20 of these badges to unlock the dapper Button Man Detective suit which provides extra ammo for all weapons. Each badge also provides 5 additional XP to help unlock Intuition Points - special credits that can be used to give Detective Cole Phelps a key investigative insight when he needs it most.

"The Naked City" Vice Case -- Julia Randall, a stunning young fashion model with the world at her feet, is found dead, floating in her own bathtub. To the Homicide Squad it looks like a textbook society suicide - a glamorous life come to a nasty end - but coroner Malcolm Carruthers remains unconvinced. It falls to Detectives Phelps and Earle to work the scene, and determine which of Miss Randall's many vices finally killed her.

"A Slip Of The Tongue" Traffic Case -- When a suspect caught behind the wheel of a stolen car claims to have bought the vehicle fair and square, Detectives Phelps and Bekowsky are unimpressed. When he produces a pink slip and bill of sale as proof, they sit up and take notice. There follows an investigation that will throw up bumbling car thieves, double talking auto dealers, and a theft racket that stretches across Los Angeles and the state line.

"Nicholson Electroplating" Arson Case -- At 9.45 in the morning, a thunderous explosion rocks Los Angeles. City blocks are flattened and smoke and ash fill the air. Detectives Phelps and Biggs race to the site of the former Nicholson Electroplating plant to find a pile of unanswered questions. What caused the explosion? What were Nicholson's employees working on? And where are chief chemist Dr. Harold McLellan and his mysterious female assistant?

"Reefer Madness" Vice Case -- Vice Narcotics receives a tip from one Freddie Calhoun, junkie, snitch and all around no-hoper. Freddie seems to be playing it straight for once, sharing information on a city-wide marijuana distribution ring. Detective Phelps and Earle will search, question and raid their way to the top of the operation, and in the process learn how the crooks could be smuggling fifty pound shipments of dope in plain sight.

"The Consul's Car" Traffic Case -- In ad dusty backlot, a gleaming new model Packard sits abandoned. Without an owner, without license plates, without even a full complement of wheels, the car could be headed for the scrapyard and the case for a dead end. But detectives do have one lead - the vehicle is registered to the Argentinean Consulate of Los Angeles. And there is the matter of a curious diary recovered from the scene...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Misses the mark big time This game is too repetitive. Needed to add a lot more to the game. Huge open world map though. I got bored quickly with this game

Rated 4 out of 5 by from L.A. Awesome There was something so different and intriguing about this game, and now it's one of my favorite PS3 titles. It was also the first Rockstar game that I have ever played. L.A. Noire isn't your typical run-and-gun game, but that doesn't mean it doesn't keep you on the edge of your seat with your eyes peeled on the television screen. It's strategic, makes you think and continues to surprise you from beginning to end. Not to mention the replay value of this game is pretty high... You take on the role of Cole Phelps, a war veteran working his way up the ladder as a member of the LAPD from patrol cop to homicide detective. The main focus of the game is crime solving but, unlike other games where you focus mostly on violence and fighting, this game focuses on strategy. You scope out crime scenes, discover clues, take notes, interrogate witnesses, and more. The more clues you find the better off you are when interrogating. The motion capture of faces gives the characters a level of detail you don't always see in games... you need to read their faces or listen to their tone of voice to determine whether they are telling the truth or lying. Your instincts are what move this game along. If you're instincts are good, then you can cleanly solve the case. If you accuse the witness of lying when they are in fact telling the truth, a vital piece of information may be dismissed. It all depends on you, as the gamer, to move the story in different directions. The cases are interesting. They have twists that you don't always see coming... and as you dive further into the game, they start to blend together to turn into one huge case, rather than the game feeling staggered and episodic. The one downfall of the game, which isn't that huge of a deal considering it's not the main focus of the game, is the action gameplay. The car chases especially were a little hard to control from time to time. Again, not the main focus, but I did find myself the first time I played the game to skip a lot of the driving and have my partner drive to each destination. Definitely a must-try for PS3 fans. I'm really glad I didn't miss out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Game! I liked it,it had cop chases, insane criminals ,and puzzles.I liked the music but if you sat at the start screen it was annoying.Gameplay is very fun, some buttons are like GTA 4(Grand Theft Auto 4) and Red Dead Redemption. The lasting appeal is great, if you didn't get all the items in the game.Grafics are great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but it lacks a whole lot of points... To start off, I had so much hope that this game would blow gamers away but I was wrong. Don't get me wrong though, it's fun at first. The investigations are pretty cool and the whole investigation portion of the games are also great but let's face it. It's so repetitive that it bores you throughout the game. Oh look a body, investigate the arms, hands, face, what's in this pocket? oh look a paper, let's drive to this place, then back to that place. It just gets boring after a while and there are barely any situations where you can shoot your enemies... You can't pull out your gun in public which really blows. The environment is really dull and after you complete the game you have to restart because it doesn't let you continue. Not to mention once you beat the game you have nothing left to do besides find landmarks, cars, and complete side missions. But that will take you 3-5 hours then you're done. This game can be improved, and I hope they improve it, but other than that the concept was nice but it was flawed...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite game This is just one of those games that are truly perfect from every aspect. The way that rockstar accually used real actors faces in the game is genius, and the story is the best iv'e ever seen from a game. Get it now

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Game, But Repeats Itself Too Much! I liked the game, has a lot of action, and it made me feel like a cop from a long time ago. There is a huge flaw though. ITS VERY REPETITIVE! In the game you will be doing the same thing most of the time. During Girl Death Scenes, doing the 1st case tells you what you're going to be doing for the whole chapter. I'm not gonna tell you the spoiler since it spoils 1/4 of the game. I could basically tell you what you need to do in one mission, and it makes the game predictable throughout your experience. Yes, that's how repetitive this game is. If you don't mind the game repeating itself, you'll like it. To me, it ruined my experience. 7/10 (i do not recommend it to you)
