It's GREAT! I loved it!
In my opinion this game was GREATLY DONE. I can tell you to buy this game if you are a fan of God of War, Castlevania Lord of Shadows, or Zelda. This game has ALL those games as a mixture. More so of Castlevania. It is a wonderful game and the gameplay doesn't get stupid with excessive/ridiculous combos. The story line is interesting and easy to understand. The game isn't complicated like the simpleton below me said. Nice looking weapons, spells, scenery, and battling. The game doesn't go on overkill with ANYTHING, which is great and keeps it more realistic. I highly, highly recommend this game to anyone who loves a good action game, great battle, and a very interesting story line. I give it 2 thumbs way way up!!!

Good game with some issues
Overall I really do like this game alot. If you like hack n slash kind of games then this game will satisfy you. Some complaints I have about the game is that during boss battles there is slowdown and also when your fighting more than one enemy. The powers in the game are what I like. Don't care much for having to babysit Gretchen during the game. That's all I have to say about the game. Again if you are into hack n slash games then it is worth the purchase, if you are not then look elsewhere.

Here comes another new hero!
First of all, the story is amazing. When you first start off you find out the main character is an executioner which in the past beheaded many people accused of being witches. In turn, he becomes cursed with immortality from a particular witch, Grechen. One hundred years later, the executioner is back and hunting (I'll let you find out who), and that's is where the adventure begins. If you've played Darksiders, the cutscenes are very comparable. They're epic cutscenes and simply just stunningly awestruck. Now the gameplay, right as you start to play you noticed a lot of things. One being the hack and slash is similar to Darksiders. It's also very different, but at the same time takes some ideas from Darksiders including the executioners look and fighting style. I give gameplay a 9/10 instead of a 10/10 because of camera angles at times. Some moves you have are huge, and at times are not easily captured by the camera, so you're not sure exactly it looks like. In turn, it dosen't bother at all it's just something Bandai could've easily fixed. The only other complaint I have is that the character does not walk fast enough. Anyway, there are PLENTY of moves to do. In the begining you won't have enough enemies to try out all the moves. You can grab enemies and pull off any single combo you want from there including giving them the foot, slamming them against the wall, and tossing them where you please. Overall great game. Try it out you won't be disappointed. I haven't finished the ending yet, but hopefully this'll be a new series.

Finally Greatness....
Hi, I just wanted to say Game Republic (Genji, Majin and The Forsaken Kingdom, and Catan fame), developer of Knights Contract needs a bonafided hit, and this might be that game. It has everything I love in a game, action, fantasy, unique art style, and of course adventure. I pre-ordered it, so I hope that was the right choice. Don't disappoint Game Republic!! ^_^
