Product Details:

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men follows the violent and chaotic journey of two men - a flawed mercenary and a medicated psychopath - and their brutal attitude towards right and wrong. This volatile partnership combined with innovative technologies allow for an unparalleled gaming experience. Kane & Lynch: Dead Men will immerse players into an emotionally intense crime drama with unflinching action. Io-Interactive's proprietary technology will deliver fluid high definition graphics and lighting, highly destructible environments, massive crowd AI, single, co-op and squad-based combat, a cinematic interface, and non-stop dialog between Kane and Lynch. The title also features innovative two-player co-op and groundbreaking online game play.

  • Tense and unpredictable experience: This is the violent and chaotic journey of two men: a flawed mercenary and a medicated psychopath. Each hates the other but must work together to save themselves and possibly the ones they love. Play Kane in single-player mode and either character in two-player co-op mode.
  • Violence erupts in meticulously created "safe" worlds: Realistic and responsive environments and crowds react when events get of out control. Crowded nightclubs and calm bank offices become scenes of sudden terror. Manipulate the environments and crowds strategically to complete objectives.
  • Wide variety of intense 3rd person game play: Rappel from buildings, firing on the run or from moving vehicles, launch surprise attacks, lay down cover fire, and shoot blind from around corners, hurl smoke, tear, and incendiary grenades.
  • Fast and intuitive combat: Lead a crew of criminal mercenaries to increase your chance of surviving and reaching your goals. You can also fight alone as your crew AI will automatically draw fire, throw grenades, lay down cover, and engage in close combat with their own signature moves.
  • Two-player co-operative game play: Team up and play the full story with a friend as either Kane or Lynch. On the big jobs, split the command of your crew. At any point in the game you can choose to play the next, or previous, levels in co-op.
  • Innovative multi-player levels: Based on the game's themes for up to 8 players.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 Years later.. And STILL MEMORABLE!!! Where to begin. When i first played this game it was only the demo on 360. When playing the full game I loved how memorable each level was. The night club, the bank, the tower. Now this game does have it's faults but the story is just something beyond anything I've ever played. You're never really rooting for anyone but yet you want to know what happens next. Both characters are alive and so different its no wonder why they both made it to the title of the game. Kane is a selfish mercenary using anyone and everyone to get his daughter back. Lynch is a psycho schizophrenic that blacks out and kills civilians. As Kane, you see Lynch shooting people and wonder whats going on, but if u have a second player, you see through his perspective that all civilians look like cops wanting to shoot him. Definitely a memorable moment of the Bank and Tower missions. Gameplay is a bit stiff but so is Resident evil 2 and that game is considered a classic. And just like every game, this game does have it's annoying level. Ocarina of time had the Water Temple, Resident Evil 4 had the Ashley escort missions, this one has the Havana mission. Definitely a frustrating level that will have you screaming at the screen. One of the things I love is that the game is not rewarding at all. And why would it? You are a dead man walking. You are no hero nor trying to redeem yourself. And this game really makes you know that Kane and Lynch truly are Dead Men. This is on my top favorite games of all time and am currently patiently waiting on news for a new Kane and lynch 3 game if it happens.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Man....what an awful game This is the single worst piece of trash I have ever purchased in my seventeen years of living. There is no price that would make this game worth getting. Don't even let anybody give it to you, its bad. The worst game I've ever played. The box makes it look cool but all it really is at best is a low budget, slapped together piece of garbage. The graphics look like a cheap Playstation 2 game. The gameplay sucks; you can be shooting someone in the head with an AK right on top of them and its like the game wont even aknowledge that you're shooting them. I'm not going to get too specific with details cause there are so many things that are awful about this game it would take too long to explain in a review but please take my word for it, its bad, dont get it. I don't usually write reviews for anything but this game was so horrible that I felt that I had to warn others about it. Thanks for reading...peace.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Could Be Great, but just Good Kane and Lynch is a really good game! The characters Kane and Lynch are not your goody two shoe protagonists Kane is a former Mercenary who has been in prison for a while and Lynch is a Medicated Psycho who goes on killing sprees when hes not on his medication they fall into the same category of Alex Mercer, Kratos and Vito from Mafia 2 characters who aren't out to save the world just selfish and all about their own business which is why they're probably hated in the gaming world but games need these kind of characters so you don't always feel like the guy your playing as is just like every other hero who will go out of his way to help those in need I only talk about this so much because if you have read reviews and seen videos and heard all the bad things about the protagonist you're probably gonna miss out or be real late on such a good title believe me you don't want to play this once PS4 comes out Story is really Good filled with a lot of violence Missions are Fun and never repeat themselves you can be going all out gun fight in the streets, fighting through night clubs and going on stealth missions graphics are okay nothing impressive sound is what makes up for design in this game voice acting is superb and gun fights sound great But this game does suffer from really bad controls guns recoil really bad and sometimes it gets hard to shoot team ai can get annoying as they put themselves in harms way almost all the time when order to take out target not remembering the other six enemies surrounding their target Pros: Story, Characters, Sound, Different from any other game Cons: Gun Recoil, aiming, team ai

Rated 2 out of 5 by from started good ended sucking aite so this game was a underaverage game it should of been kept in production another year because i think they would of come up with a better ending.......the ending was terrible whether you went to the church or if you got on the boat.....either way it ends terrible...umm the graphics were pretty good it would be better if u didnt have to use the same two guns and not have to take the bad guys guns to have a different gun cuz there guns suck.....it would be cool if u got to play with lynch outside of the multiplayer mode but yea this game i prolly will never ply again and tht price listed above isnt worth it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but not Great I like this game, but it's not the most exciting game. The shooting engine is very confusing. It's like stuck between second and third person which makes it hard to aim. Storyline is strong. Game itself is actually pretty tough. You're given a beat up con with migraines as the main character. The missions are fun, there's a good variety and it doesn't repeat itself. Holy cow does it take forever to download, however. I waited well over two hours!! Anyway, if you've got the buy two get one free coupon or something like that, you may want to use it on this game. It's a pretty fun game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from average game. Io Interactive is best known for its stealth-focused Hitman series, but there's nothing quiet and sneaky about its latest release, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. This time around, the developer put together a crime-themed shooter that starts out with a couple of simple, heist-like objectives and then rapidly spins out of control until, without much warning, you're gunning down soldiers in the middle of a foreign revolution. While the journey sounds interesting at first, and has a few bright points, it's weighed down by bad storytelling, a real lack of character development, and a host of gameplay-related issues. The end result is a game that squanders much of its potential and just doesn't come together as well as it probably should have. The story mode opens with you in the role of Kane, a death row inmate on his way to his execution, apparently convicted of being a very savage criminal as part of a notorious gang called The7. You're on your last ride with a quirky guy named Lynch who tells you to cover your head. After an explosion, you're both busted out and on the run. That might sound great, but it's a fate worse than death. The surviving members of The7 have busted you out to force you to recover something they think you stole from them. They consider you a traitor and will kill Kane's family if he doesn't comply. Lynch is sent along for the ride to watch over Kane and report in if anything weird happens. Circumstances change over time and the back half plays out like a revenge tale, but it's a revenge tale where you don't actually care if anyone actually gets their revenge. Every single person you play as or encounter is despicable and wholly abrasive; thus, it'll probably be tough for you to find anyone to latch onto and care about, even if you typically go for this sort of crime drama on TV or in movies. You can play through this story alone or with a friend in co-op mode, though this mode is only available locally and takes place on a vertically split screen that makes it difficult to follow the action, even on a widescreen TV.
