Just to let you know how much I loved this game I held 3 of the 5 top spots on the leaderboard 2 mnths after this game came out, I think I'm down to 1 now but thats how much I loved this game. This is what a game can be and should be, it kept me engrosed for about 4-5 months and only "Mass Effect 2" has caught my attention again like JC2 did, even LBP2 kind of fell flat for me the second time around, try this game you just might like it, tons of different things to do, shoot, blow-up, fly, jump off of or out of and drive around in. No online... but thats also 1 of the things I liked about it. PLEASE be a #3 in the future PLEASE. I should add that I also have 4400 (real) skydives and 33 (real) B.A.S.E. jumps and thats one of the big reasons I loved this game so much, its skydiver-D21016 approved!!!.

This game reminds me of Mercenaries, but streamlined in ever possible way. Don’t expect to be blown away in the first hour of game play, because it takes a few to understand what Just Cause 2 truly is. The star of this game is not the “over the top,” Antonio Banderas of Desperado inspired antagonist. The star of this game is actually its environment, which is the fictional tropical island of Panau in Southeast Asia. This graphically breath taking enviroment, reminds me of a sandbox version of Uncharted “Drake’s Fortune”. Panau comprises of 400 square miles of tropical jungles, beaches and beautiful lushness. Causing “CHAOS,” with a wide variety of guns, grenades, triggered devices and a grappling hook, will make new weapons and vehicles available for upgrading. What I like mostly about Just Cause 2 is that there is a ton to do in missions, mini games or free play. Also, for the true explorer, there are Easter eggs scattered about the island. You will be surprised at the amount of fun to be had with Just Cause 2!

this game is just plain amazing, from jumping out of exploding places to flying a fighter jet and blowing stuff up, ITS AMAZING! When i first got this game i thought "Ok it will be good, few guns and jets here and there." I was wrong. You can explode a gas tank with a grenade and detach miniguns and fly jet liners and sports cars and.... Just get it. its amazing. sure, the shooting is impossible, the crosshairs and stuff, but thats the challange. The graphics jump out at you, the ocean and building and everything is amazing! Despite what people say, the storyline is B-O-S-S! You play every mission from some part of the island, so if you want to play a mission at the airport for example, you can because it doesn't exclude it. The controls are amazing, and the DUAL HOOKING (you'll find out what it is) and the grappling hook and parachutes and EVERYTHING overwhelm you. I suggest watching a few youtube videos b4 getting this game, just so you can see what your missing out on. Why should you get this game? JUST CAUSE.
Rated 9 out of 10 by hunter875 Reality? Come on
This game is prety amazing..its as if the creators of gta had to much 2 drink and said...enough with the big cities and gritty reality....lets create a game with no boundaries or limits. The story line is long..ive played 65 hours and am only 70 percent complete. Graphics are standard..and when u see the sunset as u cruze through the sky in a Leopard its simply amazing. Theres a good amount of customization but the prices r a little high for 12 gernades...and just about anything else. (25,000! for 12!...curse u inflation!) It kinda sucks that u cant completly make your own gun..or vehicle..basically u run around looking 4 boxes and then upgrade whatever when u want 2 but it doesnt ask u if u want a silencer or anyting. Another problem would be how easily yur cover is blown..like when u drive its simply telling the ai...shoot me! Having a blak market dealer helps a lot and gets u 2 where u need 2 be quicklly.Overall this game is good....the ai is decently smart..and theres tons of things to blow up in this final fantasy.

So here we are in nearing the end of March beginning of April and we are in a dry spell which is why I think this game has or is getting so much love from action fans. I played the original "Just Cause" on PSX and I thought it was average at best. I mean it is nothing but GTA without a great storyline, and finding all the boxes such as vechile & weapon parts is dumb as well, just like finding the drug drops. I only control one gang portion of the island and that was enough for me to quite playing it. At this price tag I fill like I was taken b/c the market had nothing else out in that genre to buy. Graphics are not my favorite either especially the loading and cut scenes; plus some of the voice overs are terrible as well. All in all the game starts out really cool but in less than a week it is on the back of your game shelf collecting dust, so I am going to trade mine in asap and take a loss and move on. I fill taken by buying this title. Not my cup of tea for sure, I would rent this title before buying it b/c it is not all that.

Just Cause 2 is the reason that I got a PS3. After playing it on my uncles I decided that it was time to pull the trigger and get a PS3 and this was the first game that I bought with it. The story line is beautifully crafted and is really interesting. The story mode is enough to keep the attention of anyone while just wandering around and creating chaos is great too. The graphics are great, and the overall game play is outstanding. The grappling hook parachute combo is extremely unique and fun. The map is bigger than massive. The endless things that you can do in this game is truly outstanding. I can not say enough about this game and I can not wait for Just Cause 3 to come out!
Rated 4 out of 10 by ImNotDavidBowie Not worth while
I only bought this game as a time sink until Dead or Alive 5 came out. I heard a lot of good reviews saying it's fun and that there is a lot of stuff to destroy. Which make me think that we are playing twp different games. The majority of the time you spend playing will be looking for a location to destroy stuff in. I understand wanting to have a big game world, but there is such a thing as too big. I spend maybe ten minutes out of sixty actually doing something in that game. The other fifty is me traveling. The biggest flaw of the game is probably that it has no direction. You have five or six story missions and a bunch of side missions. The problem with the side missions is that they have the air of the clone brush about them. They get really repetitive really fast. Don't get me wrong, I want to like the game, but it is just unlikable. If the game had more missions and had less distance between them I would love it.
Rated 1 out of 10 by videohero why did I buy this?!
this is the worst game I have ever played. I saw the trailer from comic con and thought it would be amazing my mistake. You start out as some secret agent who is working for some no name agency. apparently some country in the Caribbean has acquired nuclear weapons and plans to use them against...... that's just it we don't know who the agency is or what government they come from anyway as the story progresses you find some aspects of the game are just pure laziness (like the ninjas don't ask) the free falling sucks its nearly impossible to control next time you jump off a building remember its a one way ti-kit to heak. why dose my character run at 2 miles an hour I found my self asking as I played this. and why is it so hard to tether people to objects?! i thought that was the highlight of the game? my point is if you are thinking about buying this game don't spend your money on assassins creed 2 instead its much better.
Rated 10 out of 10 by The Scorpio Avalanche has done it again!
Simply put, this game is amazing! Avalanche 2.0 game engine makes the game so realistic, so unbelievible, that you'll never want to put down the controller. The story line is amazing. YOU can take missions anytime you want or not at all. YOU choose where you attack from. YOU choose the gameplay! Parachuteting into battle is always fun! Who can resist the sudden urge to jump off a cliff and base jump to sheer euphoria? ( or to a near-by hovering Heli!) -Unmatched vertical gameplay – Take to the air like no other can with the use of Rico’s trademark parachute and enhanced grappling hook! -Insane Stunts - Free fall, base jump, vehicle surf, parasail, parachute, grapple, slingshot, leap between vehicles, hang from helicopters, scale buildings… do the impossible! -Vast, open game world – Panau offers 400 square miles of tropical jungles, arid deserts and snow-capped mountains to explore and destroy. -100+ Sea, Land and Air vehicles at your disposal. -Weapons Galore! Single and dual wielded weapons, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, explosives, vehicle mounted weapons and more!
