Guardians of Middle-Earth
A Friendlier MOBA
If you are like me and enjoy the concept of MOBAs but found the PC community of the more popular ones to be unwelcoming, ultimately dampening your experience; This is the game for you. Guardians of Middle Earth can be as hardcore or as casual as you want it to be and offers skirmish battles to train up before heading online. I easily spent 3 hours playing skirmish matches before feeling comfortable playing an online match (3 hours time that does not feel wasted) and I couldn't be happier. Balancing is terrific, character classes feel about right, and learning the ins and outs of buffing your character towards their power-horse level 14 feels undeniably satisfying. The community is much friendlier too with a tad less emphasis on statistical competition than others, though the competition is still there for those that desire it. All that can be said against it for now is that the servers need a lot of tweaking. Full matches lag out more often than not with 3 on 3 seemingly topping out what the servers can handle... for now. I'm sure this will be fixed down the road.
MOBA for consoles, eh? Not bad. If this is good, it could be the start of something big...It could help other developers try to form MOBAs as well.
I have just downloaded the Demo from the Playstation Store and love it!!!! When I saw this game I was so excited!!! I am a big fan of anything LOTR. This is a game I will defenatly purchase.
Hard but tons of fun
this game is very hard, you really have to get used to it, many may hate it at first, like me, but now i love it, just keep playing youll love it
I got to try this game out at PAX and it was awesome! the controls were surprisingly simple and it kept all of the strategic depth of the pc MOBA's. I can't wait till its out!
