Join us in celebrating one of the most popular FINAL FANTASY stories of all time! FINAL FANTASY X|X-2 HD Remaster takes you into the adventures of Tidus and Yuna in beautiful, remastered HD.

"The world lies on the brink of destruction. Only a select few may be able to save it."

In ages past, the world of Spira experienced a golden age of perfection, brought about by an advanced civilization through the use of wondrous machinery called machina..

However, around one thousand years before the present day, a colossal menace known only as "Sin" appeared and sundered all before it. Though a line of summoners have since brought Sin low many times, it inevitably returns in an unending cycle of destruction. In the face of this ever-pervasive threat, the people of Spira flocked to the teachings of Yevon, which tell that Sin is a punishment to those who relied overly on machina.

Tidus is a young Blitzball star that mysteriously finds himself in Spira after his home city of Zanarkand is destroyed by Sin one thousand years in the past. Believing Sin to be the key to returning home, Tidus joins a young summoner named Yuna on her pilgrimage to destroy Sin and bring about the Calm.

Characters:

Tidus is a cheerful, rising blitzball star playing for the Zanarkand Abes. He has long resented his father, who was a renowned player himself before his untimely death. Tidus's quick moves allow him to attack even the swiftest foes with ease.

"This is my story..."

Daughter of High Summoner Braska. Honest and determined, Yuna embarks on a pilgrimage to obtain the Final Aeon and defeat Sin.

Yuna is learning the mystical art of summoning Aeons - powerful spirits of yore.

"I will defeat Sin... I must defeat Sin."
"Last time she saved the world. This time its personal!"

Two years have passed since Sin was destroyed. Since her victory and becoming a high summoner, Yuna has lived on her childhood home of Besaid Island. Then one day, Rikku comes to Besaid and shows Yuna a sphere. The recording is of him. Or is it?

Yuna can't tell whether it's him or just someone who looks like him. If it is him, Yuna might be able to see him one more time. No matter what the truth may be, the answers she finds may change things forever.

Characters:

After defeating Sin, Yuna returned to her home on Besaid. The days passed without incident, but she still sensed something missing in her quiet existence. A movie sphere that Rikku showed her gave her a reason to journey once more.

For now, life as a sphere hunter affords Yuna the chance to live on the wild side. Old habits die hard, though. Yuna still can't walk away from people in need.

"Things are... disasterrific."

In the two years since she helped Yuna defeat Sin, Rikku has travelled with other Al Bhed around Spira, teaching people all there is to know about machina.

During the so-called "search for truth" that overtook Spira after Sin's defeat, a group of Al Bhed joined the ranks of sphere hunters. With their airship, the Celsius, as a base, Rikku, Buddy and Brother founded the Gullwings. Rikku invited Yuna to join the Gullwings and they have been travelling together ever since. As always, Rikku's endless supply of energy keeps the team on their toes.

"Y.R.P. In position. It's showtime, girls."

Paine is armed with a one-handed sword and a lukewarm attitude. It seems she joined the Gullwings because of something that happened in her past. However, none of the Gullwings know exactly what that might be. The often ridiculous antics fo the Gullwings tenc to prompt sarcastic remarks from Paine, but the others don't seem to worry about it too much.

"Maybe we should both let go of our past, and focus more on what's to come."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still the best Final Fantasy to date! Final Fantasy X: If you have ever played Final Fantasy X and enjoyed it, then this surely will not disappoint! I really appreciate the remastered graphics and soundtrack. It has a new coat of paint and it definitely refreshing. Though I am happy with the remastered elements, I still feel quite content with a lot of the original renders, I prefer a lot of the original renders of the characters actually. Still, I appreciate all the new elements. To the ones who haven't played it yet, I highly recommend it. And just keep in mind that you have to patience with it. Because it can be quite slow in the beginning! But it does not take too long to really take off and blow your mind. The characters are genuine, all unique and interesting. The battle system is turn-based, and some might not like this, but I think it is perfect for this game. The leveling up system is my favorite of all the Final Fantasy titles, and it not as hard to master as anyone could think--if you have played Final Fantasy XIII, then it is quite similar to the Chrystaruim. The story is cool, and will not disappoint. It can feel really linear, but that is only a just a minor flaw. Final fantasy X-2: This sequel got a lot of bad rep, but I am one of the few who can say that I really enjoyed it. Yes, I have to agree with a lot of others out there who claim that it is just a hurried sequel, but it still delivers. The battle system is one of my favorites, as it is really action based and fun. The missions can also be fairly decent and amusing. I feel as if this title is just a fun and whimsical title--only having a few serious thrown in elements. Not as good at the first, but not as bad as some say. It is easy to enjoy leveling up your characters and their abilities for each dressphere. There is no Sphere Grid leveling up system in this installment. You automatically level up earning EXP points through battle. I do not mind this though, I feel it really fits the game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best FF Game Ever I love the characters and the story in this game, more than any other game I've played. The soundtrack is something that will give you goose bumps, and the visuals are astounding. Even if the cinematics haven't been polished up, it looks astounding for a game that came out on the PS2 in the year 2001.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular This is a game I have wanted to be redone in HD for awhile and the wait was well worth it. Final Fantasy X is my favorite in the series and as the re-mastered version includes the international version of the game it is a MUST HAVE! The graphic touch-ups are just awesome and the international content gives me a reason to throw another 100 or so hours at this game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from One of the Best X is one of the Best games to comes form Square.. X-2.. not so much.... X is the last of the traditional turn based battle systems and X-2 introduces the ATB system (Which i personally HATE) I only wish Square would quit poppng out junk like the the FF13 trio and return to what made them famous to begin with like FFX... This is a Welcome remake for sure..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Gaming Experience I've always heard people talk about how great Final Fantasy games are and that the game play is amazing. I recently joined the gaming world about a year ago and started testing out the waters on what kind of games I enjoyed playing. Let me tell you, this game exceed my expectations. I thought oh, since so many people are talking about it and it has great ratings it should be a fun game. I ended up loving this game and stayed playing past wee hours on weekdays (even though I had to work the next day). The characters are quiet versatile and can be trained to learn skills from another class. It's an easy to handle game and the graphics are amazing. Stunning in detail during fight scenes with bosses or during close ups of the character killing an enemy. My favorite part were the Aeons available during play, they help a lot during difficult or high leveled HP bosses. This game teaches how to maneuver between characters and become strategic during fights. Overall, this was an excellent game and worth every penny. For those who are new to gaming this is definitely a game you should try. You can't go wrong with Final Fantasy X-X 2.
